Got my nails done last week and I love them! I normally get my regular nails painted with gel but this time I wanted to try something different. These are gel x with a french tip and chrome. Dan did my dip powder today and he did a pretty good job on my nails. He accidentally filed too much of my color off the side of one of my nails and when I mentioned it to him he had no issues fixing it for me. Only downside is I made an appointment for 2pm and waited 40 minutes to be seen. When I arrived they didn't even find my appointment in their books, so the woman I spoke to never wrote my name down. I had almost left when they then approached me and told me he would see me in a couple minutes. Obviously not Dan's fault, he didn't make the appointment, but poor scheduling on their behalf. I also got charged more for my dip nails than the advertised price. Didn't realize it until I got home. I came in with bare, naked, unpolished nails. read more

I'll have to get used to AZ prices. A bit surprised at how expensive it is when the overhead is less in AZ. TeeTee was very quick and I like the design she did for me, but she didn't file the nails underneath or glue my nails. They are lifting underneath, so we'll see how long they last. Also they don't massage your hands after painting them. Pedicure was good. Could have massaged my feet a little longer. read more

At this particular visit, I just had my polisher removed, but I go there for pretty much anything that I need. The atmosphere is really nice. My favorite technician well I'm not gonna give her name but they have some talented people on staff. I was a walk in and the guy upfront was super nice. Ones I sat down I notice they didn't grab any new tools... usually the tools are in packs. No such thing here. I asked for pink n she was being very tight with the color.... I had to ask for additional coats of nail polish. U spend like 65 bucks for Hawaii pedicure n additional 15 for gel. You would think think it would be a wow factor. read more

I go here all the time to get my nails done and usually the employees are friendly and do a great job. However, I went in today to get a mini fix on my nail that I accidentally chipped while cutting some vegetables. I was simply asking for a fix and the lady was off the bat rude and asked if I got them done there in the first place and by who, I never said it was their fault by the way. Her demeanor was like I was an inconvenience when she was just on her phone not doing anything and it was such a small fix that it took 2 minutes to do. I was wanting to even give a small tip to whoever was doing the service but not after the unfriendliness. I did not catch her name and I will be finding a new salon. read more

I want to warn anyone going here for a relaxing experience, please do not see Tiffany. I felt rushed out of my chair so she could see more customers. I was snapped at when I asked if she could make my thick dip powder thinner. She was talking about me to her colleagues and complaining about my request in front of me. When I first asked if she could make the nails more natural looking and thinner she became upset and started drilling so hard she chipped my already set dip powder. She didn't fix it after. She also buffed the area around the nail so roughly I can not wash my hands or shower without the skin burning. I would not recommend seeing Tiffany. I am attaching photos of the skin she buffed off. Also, if you notice in the pictures, my nails are all shapes and sizes. PLEASE, do not go to her. Ask for anyone else. read more

They were able to get me in right away. I wanted a gel mani and pedi. My manicure was done without soaking my hands, even though I asked multiple times. my cuticles were after polish was applied resulting in a space between my cuticles and where the polish starts. The staff were pleasant they just did a horrible job on my nails. On top of that, I was over charged nearly double the listed prices. The services I left with was gel polish on my nails and a full gel pedi and I was charged over $100. I do NOT RECOMMEND. read more

They mentioned it was an additional $15 for the gel on top of the $30 basic pedicure service. I asked for a lighter chrome nail (reference photo attached). My friend asked for a sparkly pink. Throughout our service, I noticed how our techs had different ways of servicing us. My friend's tech seemed to be a little more detailed and meticulous with her service. My tech seemed to rush through her process. She appeared annoyed when I asked for a specific chrome color on top of the gel. Two people mentioned how it was gonna be additional $15 just for the chrome. I told them the price was okay but they kept asking me for reassurance. Then they proceeded to mention how my toes were too short for the powder. But again, I was still charged the whole additional $15 for the chrome powder anyways. I showed my tech my reference photo at least 3 times throughout my service. To make sure our visions were aligned. When she finally put the chrome powder on my toes, she applied it with her bare fingers. Which I felt was unsanitary and left my toes streaky. After the powder was applied, I assume she was going to wipe/rinse off the powder. But she only used her finger and a brush to do so. The photo of my results was after I got my own wipes to clean them up. When I tried to clean my cuticle, the gel ended up peeling. I've left photos of both my reference photo and results. Overall I paid a total of $60 for my gel pedicure + chrome powder, and another $45 for my friend's gel pedicure. I really tried to be optimistic during my service. However, I did leave disappointed. I've been to this place before and never had an experience like this one.

I was a tad hesitant when told the basic pedicure is $35.00, but there was no wait so I went with it. While sitting in the chair I opted for the first upgrade from the basic service, the Deluxe Pedicure for $50. It was quite nice and very relaxing. I almost could have dozed off for a few. The treatment was precise and gentle where required, firm but not rough or aggressive with salt scrub, massaging, or hot rock application. Definitely deserving of more than the suggested 20% tip that pops up on the screen when checking out. And my nails look perfect. Of course the color selection was my touch so of course I love that. Felt good getting a little pampering. I was long overdue. There was little to no conversation, but I was preoccupied with catching up on social media so I wasn't bothered by this. Finally, a nice little Bonus. Was gifted some Bare Soak silky butter lotion 100ml since this was my first time here.

I have been going to Lux Nail Bar for over a year, every time I think I will try a new place NO ONE does as good of a job as Lux!!! I love Tom & Tina! I have never had a bad experience here!! I usually go through Pintrest and bring in something crazy for them to try and it's always done to perfection!! Example given: I was getting married and waited till the last minute to get my nails done, I walked in their doors at about 15 till closing on a Friday night and one of the tech's said she'd stay late and help me feel beautiful for my big day!! Not only did she make sure that she did an amazing job on my nails she took her time and this is what customer service is all about!!! I love Lux and will NEVER go anywhere else!! All the Tech's are amazing but I truly love Tina and will wait if she is with another customer because of my wedding experience, you can tell she takes pride in her work and loves what she does!! I recently started going to Lux Nail Bar and have had the pleasure of working with both Nina and Andy. They both do such an incredible job and have a meticulous work ethic. My most current experience was with Andy to do a dip manicure in which I had a particular idea set in mind. There was an Ombre nail design with a pattern on the ring finger that I wanted to have done and he definitely made it possible. It was the first time I ever had Ombre nails and they turned out beautiful. Andy was very patient, gentle, kind, and detailed in delivering the best results. He took his time in shaping my nails, grooming them respectfully, and making them reflect what I envisioned. I truly appreciate the effort and extreme care that was displayed as I am very happy with how they turned out. They have also lasted a long time which is another plus. I live in Phoenix and yet this is my go to home nail salon. I found it because I am a member of Elements Massage right next door and get massages every 2 weeks. That's perfect for me to get my nails and feet done every 2 weeks too. They are always accommodating on my appts as they know I will be going to get a massage right after I walk out from getting my mani/pedi. The owners are very friendly and the interior is pretty with chandeliers and such. The massage chairs are great and everyone that has done my gel mani or pedicure has been good. I never have any complaints! They always get my one design nail of black with white polka dots perfect! Very sanitary and good quality. Their pricing is very reasonable for anyone. Anytime I have guests visiting, I choose to bring them here and I know they will love it. Definitely call for your appt especially after Covid as they are following guidelines and being safe. read more

Went to lux nail bar yesterday to finally pamper myself after work. My nails and pedicure came out nice. But if your not going in TO GET GEL NAILS Dont even bother with this place. I felt completely overwhelmed with the amount of people telling me I NEEDED gel on both my feet and nails one person even sat down next to me told me I NEEDED IT and when I declined I almost felt shamed for it. No one spoke to me after that throughout my whole entire service. I seen everyone talking to everyone else and talking to each other so I know it was possible. Also after I said no to gel the main lady got up went to the terminal and said ok fine your bill is going to be $60.. I looked at the menu before I even started and I was up charged $5 bucks for no reason I get plain Jane colors no fancy jewelry or designs. I only give it two stars for the work. But the atmosphere was horrible I will never return read more

I had a horrible experience at lux nail bar I went for a pedicure & Manicure Diana is the lady did my pedicure and Christine is the lady did my nails I got deluxe ped cost $40 and the gel man for $30 I got both done. The ped it's only 20 min for $40 she was rushing my ped so she can do another ped for sum other custom and she told me is the best in lux nails bar omg I can't believe I spend $40 for nutting and I got my gel man done at the same time I don't know if I say something to get Christine mad but she didn't seem to be happy to do my gel manicure I didn't like the vibe between me and Christine cuz she didn't seem happy ..she have that face like ( omg I have to do her nails ) that your job hello ... LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I will definitely come back! Everything is so clean, so beautiful, and they really show they care. Staff were wonderful, && very conversatioal. Not to mention the owners! They're so sweet & extremely knowledgeable. They explained the ingredients that they were using, as well as other healthy tips for my nails. I had a wonderful time! Also I did the Ice cream pedicure, which included actual ice cream and an ice cream bath bomb for my feet! And then I did a dip powder with a tip for my nails. I love it! Great job guys! This was the worst experience I've ever had. They are doing absolutely nothing about COVID! They do not wipe down chairs between guests, they share tools on more than one customer and do not wipe down even the pens they ask you to use.
