They do have a tendency to overbook themselves and often have several people in the waiting area, which can result in you being seen a bit late, but the staff is friendly and helpful. This place is great. I had a really good first experience. It was fairly busy on a Friday afternoon so I recommend an appointment if you are short on time. The inside felt clean and inviting. Ample parking as well. I got a gel polish change and powder on four of my nails to fix ones that were cracked and broken. I am very happy with how they turned out. It's been five days since my appointment and my nails still look great. I also loved all the selection of gel polish they offered. Great colors with a lot of different options for any occasion or mood you are in. Price was $25 for gel polish change which is a good price and inline with other nail salons I've been to. The service was good but it was hard to communicate with my nail tech. It was my first time getting acrylics and picked a design I thought would be simple. She didn't follow the picture and left the acrylic stuck to my skin under the nails. If you want acrylics the best they could do it probably just flat color or French tips. read more

My Daughter and I went to get a Mani-Pedi here. The salon was clean but the pedi chairs weren't very comfortable. Chase was my technician, she did a nice job with my pedicure and gel manicure. I would say the only issue I had was the cleaning off of gel color needed more attention. Now here's why I gave it 3 stars not five. The technician Sandy did a poor pedicure and worse manicure for my daughter. Pedicure; Sandra did not not properly file the toe nails and left sharp edges. She constantly burned her nail beds using they polish sander. Even after being told several times she was hurting my daughter. Sandra decided to cut her finger nails short which she did not want and disregarded instructions to file them rounded not square with sharp corners! Ugh!! Then Sandra tried to charge me $12 dollars too much. Not cool!! She left hang hang nails refused to clear coat my finger nails. read more

I've been to most of the nail spas in Rexburg, and this is by far our family's favorite. Their staff is talented, swift, and kind. STAY AWAY FROM LUX NAIL SPA in Rexburg!!!! I went in for my regular 2 week appointment and I sit and wait 10 minutes then I'm told they're running behind and someone else was taken in my place. I asked to have my nails soaked off instead of filled And this is what I end up with. At first he wanted to just pull the nails off and I said no they need to be soaked off. He then shoves me off to another person To soak them off All The while hes getting calls for clients that would like to come in and have their nails done and he tells them to come in anywhere from 30 to 40 minutes, 4 new clients without appointments came in while I was in there. They were supposed to do a manicure but Dave has the nerve to Ask me to come back and have the manicure done another time because they're too busy. I asked them to please at least clean my nails up before I leave and this is what I was forced to leave with. Needless to say, I AM PISSED!!!! This took them 1.5 hrs!!!! Their tables are filthy and they set their sanitized tools on them before using them on me. Never again, this place was ok in the Beginning but it's now turned into one of these typical, expensive cattle call nail shops that could care less about their work & clients and only care about the money. They didn't even get off all the black polish from my previous set. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Crappiest pedicure Ive ever gotten. The lady was extremely cocky and rude( the one with alot of botox and makeup) The pedicure took less that 10mn , she bearly cleaned up my cuticle. When I say BEARLY i mean like picked super quickly not grabing anything. She didnt even put lotion on my feet or cleaned up the dust when she started painting my nails. My nails were a MESS. She wanted me to get up and leave when clearly my nails werent ready. I got home And my nails were all messed up because they werent dry when she put my shoes on. Its the WORST experience in a nail salon ive ever had. These people couldnt survive in a big city with really good nail salons. read more

I was not pleased with my toes, the lady did not cut to my satisfaction and was Persistent she do it after a few times I've mentioned the shape is wrong . Paint job was awful my toes have not been done for 1 hour and they chipped , i had to file them down to fix the crookedness. I noticed so many filthy errors like not using clean drills I had to ask to use a fresh buffer for my toes. I was not pleased with the foot bath, there was no soap . For $40 I'm expecting bath rocks, soap and a soak not a soak that's just plain water . I'm super picky so I personally will NOT be going back . They cut a lot of corners like not putting plastic bags on foot bath which is a health hazard for foot fungus (unless you ask for a bag) I just see fungus alerts all around me . They are nice but definitely need more practice. Won't be going back read more

I called in and was able to schedule that day for a soak off of my gel extension. They used plastic nail pieces, shoved it between the extension and my nail and started ripping. It hurt so so so bad!!! I will never go back, my nails were destroyed. They were so sore and sensitive for weeks. read more

I went to get my nails done for my wedding and asked for something specific. I showed pictures of what I wanted. the lady doing my nails made the chrome look terrible so I asked her to take it off and just put on white. once she just put white on, it looked like Helen Keller did my nails. my nails were filed crooked, there was gel on my cuticles, and the gel was chunky on nearly all of my nails. save yourself the tears and go somewhere else. read more

My daughter, granddaughter and I were scheduled for pedicure appointments on Saturday. When we arrived we were told the town's power was out and they would not be able to take us. They offered to come in early Sunday morning if we wanted to reschedule, which we did. When we arrived Sunday morning, they greeted us with smiles and professionalism and again apologized for the power outage. Since we drove all the way in from Ashton (for the 2nd time) we were offered free gel on our toes if we wanted it. I can't say enough about they customer service! It seems from the reviews, they went thru a touch patch, but in my opinion, the pedicures were fantastic, the service was great and all seems to be back on point at the present. This place is definitely low quality. The receptionist is literally 13 and she definitely over schedules. Even if you schedule an appointment you still wait there for 45 minutes-1 hour. I've gone twice and one of my nails has popped off after a week every time. The people working there are unprofessional, they are messing around and do not pay attention to the customers. Absolutely horrible service. I arrived to my appointment and waited OVER AN HOUR to be seen. I had a different appointment elsewhere that I missed because of the unprofessionalism at this business. After this insanely ridiculous wait time, I didn't even get what I had come in for. I wanted a simple design and was told that it was too hard and that they couldn't do it. If I can't go to a nail salon to get a design done, then where am I supposed to go?? The staff was difficult to communicate with, contradicted each other, and not helpful. I left feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. Wasted my time and money. NEVER GOING BACK. Do NOT recommend!!! read more
