The first time I went here, I had a good experience. The woman who gave me a massage was very nice and the massage was good quality. It helped my back. The only minor issue that time was the fact that she asked me to wait so she could eat. I did not think much of it, but now it makes a bit of sense. This place keeps you waiting. The next time I came, I brought my friend. I was excited to show her this place because the massage had been good. When we entered, the woman at the counter told us they only had one masseuse available and to come back in 30 minutes. I checked the time right after leaving. It was 6:09 PM. We stayed in the same business center to kill some time. We came back just before 6:39 PM. The same woman told us it was too late...They were occupied...Another woman was at the counter now so we knew for a fact that there were at least two masseuses available. They lied. And she tried to insist we were late but we were not. It seemed like it may have been discrimination. I got a bad vibe from her. Excellent massage and table shower, but poor customer service and very sketchy behavior. Upon arrival, I was politely greeted by a woman who then asked me to pay upfront. Since I was already expecting this, I willingly did so. Then she asked me if my appointment could be pushed 20 minutes ahead of schedule, to which I agreed. She then ushered me into a room and, without saying another word or giving me instructions, she just left and closed the door behind her. After waiting in my room for a little over 30 minutes, a different woman walks in with a hyper-sweet and flirtatious personality. She immediately came to me and gave me a hug while saying "I'm so, so sorry for making you wait, you poor thing! After the massage I'm going to give you a FREE table shower, ok baby?" The massage itself was excellent. I had asked for a Swedish massage and she did that very well, in addition to adding some Thai-style leg stretches. Amazing! However, during the massage she kept complimenting me on how nice body is, and how I have a "really nice butt". I've been to many different massage places before and have never been spoken to like this. It's unprofessional and intrusive. As promised, she gave me what was supposedly a "free" table shower, which was very nice and relaxing, but she did ask me to tip her for it afterwards. How tacky. Nonetheless, I gave her a generous $25 in cash and she had the nerve to complain that it wasn't enough! I was shocked! I ended up reluctantly giving her another $20 (which I highly regret now) and proceeded to the exit. Ah, but not so fast! Yet another crafty woman stopped me in my tracks and, with a mischievous grin on her face, said "We are pretty slow tonight... Would you like ME to give you a massage this time?" When I told her that I just had a massage she said just playfully giggled and winked at me. Ugh. Arrived as a walk-in and greeted by Cindy. Paid $60 for an hour massage and was shown to a small narrow room. Cindy returned and I was on the table, covered with a thin sheet, face down waiting. She proceeded with a scalp massage and a very through and great massage. She didn't ask about how much pressure to start but did ask if the amount she was applying was okay. She used her hands and forearms to great effect. She even did some stretching of my arms and legs. The massage started dry and over the sheet. Cindy then folded the sheet down to my waist and applied a lotion not an oil and continued to massage my back and all the way down to my feet. She didn't miss a spot and worked diligently. She left to get a hot towel and wiped some the excess lotion off before turning me over. Once she turned me over Cindy once again started at my head with a very nice scalp, face, and neck massage working once again down to my feet. Cindy used the entire hour and was very attentive and friendly. She finished off with another hot towel and had me smiling ear to ear. Afterward while I dressed Cindy went and brought me a cup of water. Considering this was my first visit I was quite pleased with the service and happy at the end. read more

I could have not been more disappointed in the massage at this place. First, when I put my face in the circle in the table it was nasty. I got a pillow -- should have left at this point in time. Second, the therapist did not ask me a single question, where is my stress? What kind of pressure, nada. Third, she did some kind rub job that the best I can say about it was it was human contact. Finally, after this lousy service, this woman used the only two words of English she knew, "Gimme Tips" When I said NO, I seriously thought she was going to go postal on me as I walked by her. First off i would like to say that the lady who did my massage was very nice...but #1 she left the room like 5 times I thought she would just add additional time to my massage... But nope not even a full hour... #2 I asked for upper body only to work my shoulder because I had injured in a few weeks ago at work #3 Did not work my shoulder as I asked and mostly did the same motion the whole massage. I went some place else a few weeks ago and they did exactly as I asked. But I wanted to stay close to home so I decided to try this place. If I could give it no stars I would. The only reason I guve it one is because she was very nice. #4 They get a little bit too personal ...massaging much closer then any other places I have been to, in certain areas. #6 when I gave her the tip she actuallycounted it in front of me.... Do not come here! Not sure why I did after all the bad reviews! Got a 30 min "massage" and a table shower total should have been 45 min it took 30 min for a massage and the shower. The massage felt like a body rub. When I got dressed she came in the room and said "are you guna give me a tip" I said you didn't give me my change back when I paid so there's $5 and I have her a 20 and told her to give me 10 back she said "are you kidding me I just gave you a nice massage and table shower " like it was free. I write this review in hopes the owner will make changes here for the benefit of the masseuses and clients. Ok I've had good and not so good experiences here. I've too been sent away and told to come back in 30 min even though I showed up on time for my appointment. I've had 2 real good massages here and the girls walked on my back which is great. The last massage I had was so so and I felt like the girl was just winging it, sad to say. There's no receptionist (at least not when I've been) and I've had the masseuse walk out a few times during my massage to answer the door!! I still went back after this because I'm nice, and because I really liked the massage. So this is what should change: *Hire a permanent receptionist to answer calls and keep the schedule book *Please have clients fill out a form so we can choose the pressure we like and where we would like the most work done or not done *Don't ask for payment until after the massage is given. It's just in bad taste. Every other massage spot does this and it makes customers feel cared for. There are some great masseuses here and I'd like for them to have more business and make lots of money but a few improvements must be made. read more

I found this place on craigslist. I was in the area and noticed they had an early discount special of $40 for a one hour message. The sign at the business shows the place as have the discount all day and all week. They asked for the money up front. Word of advice always check in with Yelp 1st and you sometimes get a 10% discount. The inland empire craigslist says its website is www.uplandluxspa.com which does not come up. The ad says that a table shower is free with an hour massage. This is a lie. They charge for it. The private rooms have doors and are clean. My experience with the room (#3) was safe. I did notice that after I came back from the shower the masseuse knocked on the door. So she either forgot which room I was in or thought that someone else might be in the room. The place is kind of small and dark though. It is also kind of cheap looking in its décor. The massage itself was ordinary. She did ask me if I wanted it soft, medium or hard and did walk on my back. When she started the massage her hands were cold. They warmed up eventually just I thought she would have warmed them by washing with hot water or holding something hot. She broke contact to often and did not work the joints as well as she did the neck. It was only at the end that the masseuse displayed her skill the most and popped my neck. As always, your experience my vary with the masseuse you get here. So if you want a private room massage for $40 plus a $20 tip as an upgrade from a foot massage place you can experiment. read more

I gave this spa a try after seeing the good reviews. Upon arriving, I was asked to pay up front for the massage before receiving service. The massage itself was poor. I wanted deep tissue work on my aching back, neck and shoulders, with a focus on working out the knots, but the massage was not much better than a back rub. I decided to wait in my car and 15 mins or so later a man walks in and I was thinking he would be told the same thing I was. He dint come out so I decided to go in. This time a different masseuse greeted me. I asked her if they were busy and she said no. I tried to tell her that the other lady said they were busy but she said that I was the second customer. My lower back was hurting and the regular place i go was very busy and the gal i usually have was not there. I decided to turn to yelp again. I remembered this place next to Round Table Pizza. The reviews weren't bad almost 4 stars. So decided I'll try it. Went inside location was clean and inviting. First got there was greeted by a nice lady named Gina. She explained the different massages and showed the prices. Definitely affordable. Did the full body Swedish Massage. Asked if i had any pain in places. She took me into a private room. Room was very clean and smelled good. After getting situated, while face down, she started with rub, then oil. Any time I felt discomfort asked if ok or if she was pushing too hard. She pushed a little harder on my back knowing it hurt and needed it loosen up. It worked. She then put hot towels. After that did my face, ears, nose, then the front side. I felt really good. Better than the massage at the place I usually go. I definitely will be back again, Gina did a great job. read more
