An absolute 10 on a scale of 1-5! The name is apropos - Clean, sanitary, no toxic fumes/odors, great ambience, quality of service and value. I also like that they offer a pedicure with sugaring which is gentler and is natural compared to the methods used elsewhere. Convenient free parking, too. I contacted this salon to ask for the pedicure price and wanted to make an appointment with them, and being the first time customer, I politely asked if their salon has massage chairs since some salons do not! Someone Stephanie who answered my call today responded with sarcasm and rude tone that "everybody has a massage chair these days". Immediate pressure from Stephanie to get more than just a 48 dollar french pedicure. Maybe I would consider it if you didn't have drop ceilings. Ungrateful and off putting introduction. I sit down and Grace looks at my feet and says "it's been awhile." I left this clown house just now (4:30pm on Friday 7/28) because Grace and possibly the owner don't know what a square shape nail looks like. Grace was SLOPPY with the filing. I felt uncomfortable with the mis-shapen nail and she said there was nothing more she could do. Stephanie walked over, looked at the nail sideways, and quickly confirmed that the nail was not crooked. She invited me to leave if I didn't like it (see picture). They rushed me out and didn't even have the decency to wipe my foot that was soaking in the water. I can't believe the way I was treated. It was so shockingly rude that it felt like discrimination but who knows. Whatever it is... people shouldn't support it. Fun fact: there are now 16 reviews that mention the word "rude." UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: Of course you don't understand how you pressure people. That's why you have the record in all of Orange County of people calling you rude. So disappointed- my two salons that I usually go to - were booked and I needed to repair my broken nails immediately- so at 3:22pm I walked into the salon. No one else was in there but the owner and one of her employees. Thinking I was going to have my nailed filled and 3 replaced- I asked to have them dipped in a French Manicure style and color. The owner said they can't fill my current nails because they were lifting too much. They needed to remove all and start over. I agreed to move forward since I had to have them finished by my appointment between 5-6. I felt the gal was filing my nails a bit odd, then she might have dipped my nails 2 times with white. I said to make sure I have a slight pink tint to my nails, she said ok. I asked how many dips does she do, she went on to tell me it depends on what the customer does for a living . Are they hard on their hands everyday, or do they do computer input all day so they are not as hard on their hands..... Well I then mentioned - I do everything so you should know to make mine stronger. My nails were not dipped. She painted each nail with the white tips - freehand - when I asked what she was doing she said this is better. I asked if she was doing my cuticles and she said no! (What?) When she finished she said - "Ok, you're done! " $90 later I didn't get out of there until after 5:10pm. I was almost falling asleep in the chair since it took so long . I was just thrilled to be done - when I got home and looked at my nails closely- I was shocked and extremely disappointed- the quality was terrible. Paint on several of my fingers , a few nails are not painted from the cuticles to the end of the nail, they look grown out already. One nail is odd shaped and leaning at an angle. It was my second visit to the salon, I was told the first time they won't touch my nails - they didn't look healthy - since they were done by another salon and it was over two weeks ago. This place is incredible, I came here and received beautiful keratin dip nails with extensions and a pedicure. It took hours. Why? Because they are meticulous. She recreated the inspo photo exactly and it was so gorgeous at the end. My nails have been going strong and stayed put. Unfortunately, I dropped a free weight on my pinkie nail during a workout and cracked it. It was so painful, and Stephanie had me come by immediately. She removed the nail so carefully and as painlessly as possible. These gorgeous long nails may not fit with my lifestyle as it's hard to type / text but I loved them so much! I seldom leave reviews; however, I was looking for a nail salon that had healthier alternatives and completely gave up on my search- there are a thousand nail salons and none of them seem to truly care about their customers nail health and surely don't offer healthy product alternatives. I've found myself struggling over the last year as I moved from Hawaii back here and couldn't find a single decent nail salon! It seems there's one on every corner but they're horrible and destroy your nails! I stumbled upon a Stephanie salon on yelp, and to be honest, her reviews drew me to the salon, but I did not have crazy expectations. I also had no idea that it truly was a place that cares about nail health. My intuition is never wrong and I'm SO glad I found this place. Stephanie has a degree in chemistry and is extremely competent when it comes to all of her products and the chemical ingredients used in them. She's also educated on how different ingredients react to our skin, nails etc. I honestly had no idea. PLUS- the products she uses are actually beneficial vs harmful for your nails. The integrity of your nails is maintained and you actually leave with additional nourishment. She does a great job at explaining. She really took her time and answered all of my questions. Had 2 appointments for mani pedi, however, I opted out of mani as I wasn't too happy with the person doing my pedi. So basic, so simple pedi. Though I had to keep asking to check the corners for ingrown. He just got super annoyed with me and the feeling was mutual. A bit pricey for a simple pedi. 1 minute foot rub with a dot of Lotion.
