If negative stars was an option- I'd give that. This place is the worst nail experience I've had in my life. Incredibly unsanitary to the point I ended my services! My polish was horribly put on my nails. There were cracks and debris in the polish. When I asked to have it fixed, the women had an attitude and started talking about me to her counterparts. If you haven't downloaded a voice translator you should. You'd be amazed what people say when they think you can't understand. Next, this women dug food out of her teeth after cleaning feet and tried putting those hands back on my feet! Against my own judgement- I tried a manicure. When the lady pulled a pair of clippers out of her drawer with someone else's dead skin on them- I was done. She became incredibly rude and yelling to her counter parts. I tried explaining the clippers had dead skin and she was trying to use unsanitary items. The gentlemen at the counter told me to stop talking and pay my bill and leave. I immediately went to another salon and had everything fixed and an actual manicure performed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! read more

Worst pedicure of my life. The gentleman's attention to detail was really poor. He left almost most of the old gel on and couldn't tell there was still a whole layer there. He had to redo it and the cut and cleanup because it hardly looked ready for gel. The gel application was terrible. I just left the place 20 min ago and it's already peeling and the polish looks bad. I don't even think he understood how gel polish works--he put the top coat on and it got messed up with a black streak. So he reapplied the color while the top cot wasn't set , so when the nail polish looked warbled he blamed me for my toe touching the UV box but it's because of what he did. First time here and we won't be back. I'll definitely make the trip to Chesapeake where I know my nails will be taken care of. My nail technician (didn't even get her name). I'm super upfront about pricing and people being honest. One lady says gel is included with pedicure another says it's not. Chose to do the $30 spa pedicure and the tech half assed it. Had to ask for the hot towels (that were included in the description of what comes with that specific pedicure. She didn't even do it correct, just threw one towel on for literally 20 seconds and then took it off after I asked for it. No lotion, no nothing. She literally just charged me extra to add salt to my legs.) On top of that, I asked her to cut my nails, she only cut one toe nail and left the other one RIDICULOUSLY long. As for my nails, she took forever and didn't even do them all the way. Asked for dip powder and she didn't even cover the nail bed. After her attempting to fix them and even them out three times I told her just to stop. I've had dip powder on my nails numerous occasions and it looked like she had no idea what she was doing. Part of my nail is stuck to skin. My nails are sore as well as the skin around them where she kept digging into them while filling and using the electric tools. My skin HURTS SO BAD. Then when it came time to pay she tried over charging me, I went to point to the menu for what I asked and what I had showed her that I picked out she pushed my hand away (probably not a good idea to lay hands on a customer, just saying) She tried charging me EXTRA. I told her absolutely not when my nails look terrible, my fingers hurt, and my toes aren't even! The dip powder is thick on some nails and you can almost see through it on others. I paid and walked out and the lady chased me to my car and stood in front of my car door and wouldn't let me in my car and kept saying how she gave me a huge discount. I'm sorry, it's not a DISCOUNT if that's the price on your menu. You did a shit job. Made me feel as a customer very uncomfortable and accused my friend of not paying (she paid earlier with her actual nail tech.) This was our first time here (we were excited for a nicer looking salon in Suffolk) but we WONT BE BACK. Well take our money and service to Chesapeake. read more

This place does great pedicures but I've always been dissatisfied with my finger nails. The polish is always applied quickly and sloppily. It looks terrible as it grows out. I got a gel powder fill in today and there's powder stuck all over my fingers. This is a picture after I tried to clean it up some. The gel extends outside of my nail bed on almost every finger. On top of that, they couldn't do any designs that I wanted. I had to go with my 4th design choice. I may come back for a pedicure but I definitely won't get my nails done here anymore. read more

i've gone here a couple of times and the first time i went they cut my cuticles and the polish of my full set had a bunch of dots. and the second time i went it was okay just took way to long and over charged me for a bland full set $85 and the last time i went was yesterday and i got a bland color and i got them for $60 including tip and they aren't bad but they aren't good either they took way to long and i have dots on my nails again but i would recommend to go somewhere else but the decorations there are nice and really modern and they are kinda nice but i would give them 2 stars because they are great but also bad and one time it took me 2 hours to wait for a chair but over all 2 stars. i wouldn't recommend but take your own risk read more

I was happy the first time I went right after they opened. They stayed open late to accommodate the customers they didn't get to during their regular hours and my pedicure came out great. The second time I went about 6 weeks later was a completely different experience. The tech was very rough with my feet even after I told her she was hurting me AND the calluses on my feet were worse because she did a poor job of filing them down. Well... despite the bad reviews I decided to give it a try... shouldn't have had I called ahead and asked if they had availability for a full set and a pedicure and we decided I'll be there in about 20-30 mins for a 1745 appointment.... got there and there was NO PARKING WHATSOEVER. Vehicles were double parked and everything BUT I figured maybe they underestimated their success when they originally built their salon. Nonetheless, I waited... and waited.... and waited... until a customer came out and took her sweet time leaving in order for me to park.. give or take 15 mins. I was explained they put a new plan to the city for a bigger parking lot. It's super cute inside btw. I checked in and I sat.... I saw about four other people around me so I asked after 5 mins or so if they were alllll waiting and I got told yes... well... I was upset because I'd called ahead to make sure they had the time to take care of me and the number of techs to the number of waiting customers did not make sense. I continued to wait.... and wait.... and wait... about 1730 I was asked to seat at a station to get my pedicure done... waited another 10 mins before a tech even got to me... pedi started.... got a basic pedicure because I'm not about to spend 50 bucks for unknown quality AND I AM SO GLAD. It is awful to watch your tech literally half a** every nail and not even try. I had polish over my cuticles, skin and parts of my nails weren't even painted. 30 mins later or so I was put in the drying station... 5 mins went by... then 10... 15... 20... no one checked on me and my full set had not even started! I'd now been there since 1800... to 1920 and there wasn't even an available nail tech for my nails since other people that got there after me and DID NOT have an appointment (I clearly overheard them saying "do you have time for ...") went in front of me. I got up to leave and no one was at the front desk but a young teenage girl on her iPad. After stepping back and looking around for a little bit for someone to take care of me... one nail tech yells at the lady who did my toes who then yells at the girl in front of me to check me out. Gave the girl my card and she clearly didn't know what to do, I told her "normal pedi, $25 bucks" and after another tech said something to her that I didn't understand she proceeded to check me out. Twenty five bucks, no tip and will most definitely will never return to this place. read more

I have been to this salon twice now and have had two different experiences each time. This first time was great! I always get almond shaped acrylics and the tech applied everything from the acrylic to the gel perfectly and I left extremely happy, excited for my next visit. The second time tho, it was a completely different story. I had a different tech do my nails and ended up with acrylic all over my fingers (view pics) and the gel was applied really sloppy and filled with a bunch of tiny fibers and hairs that the tech kept painting over and making me cure the gel so I ended up with lumpy nails that she had to file down and redo, which didn't end up helping in the long run (view pics). I'm giving this 3 stars at the moment because I want to give it one more shot to see if my next experience is better than the last. I will add that they have better pricing then the other salons in the area and they also offer OPI gel, which I feel wears thinner than other brands that other salons offer so I'm hoping my last experience was just a bad day and not the baseline for service at this location. read more

I am only giving a star because it is required to post a review. This was by far my worst pedicure ever. Did I mention painful? This was my first time using this business and most certainly my last. On the afternoon of Labor Day I badly needed a pedicure and I regret that I did not wait and go to a nail salon that I am familiar with. Although the nail tech was sweet, her English was very poor, so much so that she could not understand that she was hurting me. She cut me severely with a razor that was used to remove the dead skin. She apologized and placed a bandaid on my wound. I am more upset with myself than I am the business because I felt sorry for the older woman who provided the service. She did a terrible job painting my nails. My experience was not relaxing at all; however, even with this poor service she expected to be paid $50 for her neglectful and painful care. I'm the dumb one, I paid for it! I called on Tuesday as my wound worsened and the manager said she was sorry, but nothing else. When I asked if that was all she had to say about my complaint, she responded angrily by stating, "What do you want me to do?! If you want your money back you can come back and try to get it from her." I will NEVER spend money at this nail salon and anyone considering doing business with this salon needs to proceed with caution, you may need a bandaid when you leave too! If you want your nails done right you need to ask for Christy or Ma. They are the only two I trust to do my nails. For toes you need Ma, that is it! A man did mine once and they were awful, I could have done better myself at home. But Ma truly takes her time and does a fantastic job. Can't speak for anyone else there. I went in for a regular manicure, no gel. The salon looked clean and new. The gentleman that was assigned to me was polite; however,​ he spoke almost zero English and therefore was difficult to communicate with. This man, and another man that I saw working the salon, did not look the part. All I could think of was this was the handyman doing nails. I'm all for changing careers, but it helps instill confidence in customers when someone looks the part. The appearance of the men looked more like they would be climbing ladders and fixing things. (Jeans, ballcap, slightly worn shirt). The manicure I received was not very good - cuticles not thoroughly trimmed, filing very rough. And whatever products they were using stayed wet and soft even after being under the dryer for 20 minutes, at which time a woman came over to me, smeared some oil on my nails, and said "they're dry" which was my cue to leave. Shortly after getting home, two of my nails were ruined when the still soft polish smeared. I ended up removing the polish and redoing my nails myself, with a much better result. The manicure was only $15 but I would rather pay more for a better experience and products. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It is a beautiful place, they have a good color selection but sadly they lack quality nail techs. I tried twice, the first was for dip nails. Not a great experience. It took exceptionally long and I left with some on my skin, under my nails and it was too thick but it looked OKAY. Today was my second visit. I figured I would try a different tech and see if it made a difference. I got dip nails and a pedi. The nails turned out pretty good but I can easily say it was the absolute worst pedi I have ever had. I had gel on my nails which she tried to drill off completely even after I questioned her about it. She ended up damaging 2 of my nails so they had to be cut down shorter than I like. I asked for a SPA PEDI... she rubbed and exfoliant scrub on my calves and told me to leave my feet in the water while she did so. Then put on a minty smelling mud type cream and then a hot towel. There was no massage, no using exfoliating my heels and minimal cutting of cuticles. And mind you this was the spa pedicure NOT basic. This was followed by a bad polish job that I will just end up taking off. I believe the pedi was done by Britney (I could be wrong) nails had to be done by someone else whose name I did not get. I wish I spoke to a manager before I left but it was not evident who was in charge at all and I really hate to complain but I also hope my review helps make you choose wisely what salon NOT to choose. read more

I had high hopes for this place, but will not be back...came in with my daughters and mom to celebrate my birthday. My pedi wasn't perfect, but I figured it wasn't the worst. Apparently there was a $10 upcharge to "design" 4 toes, but I was still like "whatever..." My youngest daughter had her nails cut back too far, so she is in pain now. My oldest daughter didn't get any of the "Spa" treatment that was supposed to be included, not even a hot towel. Preparing to leave and my oldest daughter paid for my pedi. As we are leaving two employees start saying I did not pay. After stating calmly that my nails had been paid for by my daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Rudeness insisted we did not pay...loudly. I have no time nor desire to support an establishment when I'm already not pleased with the end product, but to turn around and be accused of not paying and yelled at???....No thank you.
