Upon entering the establishment it is very open, bright and vibrant and I instantly loved it. Most nail salons are right and cluttered and make me feel like I'm going to knock something over with the slightest movement not here. You can move around and not feel like you're going to bump into anyone or anything; great usage of space and design. Very modern, contemporary elegance and I love it. Don't know about you all but another determining factor of cleanliness for me for establishments are the bathrooms. I work in Northern Suffolk and the drive here took its toll. The bathroom was very clean. You can tell regular cleaning is norm and that's a plus as well. Let's get into this staff; I was greeted the moment I stepped into the door (Big Smile) I was asked what services I sought and pretty much told where to seat immediately except my waterworks had other plans. I had a full-set removed, a full-set put back on with gel polish, and a pedicure with gel polish as well; altogether it totaled right around $129 dollars and I paid with cash. The regular pedicure took me 2 hours. My first tech did ok with the actual pedicure and horribly with the paint job. It literally looked like a toddler painted my nails. It was so bad, a second lady came over after the first had to leave abruptly before finishing. The second lady clearly saw how bad the paint job was but was about to put on the clear coat before I asked her to please fix it. She did as good as she could, but by that time I was over it. My polish was horribly put on my nails. There were cracks and debris in the polish. When I asked to have it fixed, the women had an attitude and started talking about me to her counterparts. Next, this women dug food out of her teeth after cleaning feet and tried putting those hands back on my feet! Against my own judgement- I tried a manicure. When the lady pulled a pair of clippers out of her drawer with someone else's dead skin on them- I was done. She became incredibly rude and yelling to her counter parts. I tried explaining the clippers had dead skin and she was trying to use unsanitary items. The gentlemen at the counter told me to stop talking and pay my bill and leave. If you are familiar with nails/tips, you know what this means. Usually around this time, I would make an appt. to get a 'fill in' but last Saturday, I did not have the time. I noticed this nail shop and figured I'd peek in and ask if someone could fix my nail or at least glue it back down. Well the latter was suffice without worry. I walked right in and asked for some glue, because I did not want to walk around with a broke nail eventually. I received some glue and was in and out within 20 seconds. I have visited one or two nearby, but I was not impressed enough to return again for a fill in or a repair. Nevertheless, I came across this spot on Google. I usually use my handy dandy Yelp app, but sometimes, you may miss out... like this place was not up there... but she should be now! I added this business after my appt. on Saturday. I made my appointment on Friday after reaching out to the nail tech via text. She informed me of her booking website. The website was easy to use and I booked my appt. for the next day without worry. Puscat has an IG and Facebook page. I was able to check out her work and I was super hyped to try her. I arrived for my appt. on Saturday and she was on point. The shop is located inside of a building, where others can rent out spaces. It was not hard to find at all. This was my first time, but I felt super comfy as if I was a regular. If you are into nails and love pizazz, I highly recommend this shop. I am super excited to return. It's clean inside, the vibe is awesome and it's spacious. Do not forget your mask. Parking...
