I had been here and had a fantastic experience, which is why I took someone else here to get pedicures. My pedicurist did a fantastic job! My mom's pedicurist seemed more focused on doing a fast job rather than relaxing. Example: using a hot towel to wipe down her legs instead of letting it rest on her legs like I got. Example: setting up my mom's chair for feet drying and rudely gesturing to me to set up myself. Also, the receptionist was...odd. Not friendly at all, rolled my eyes at my mom when asked about adding tips to a credit card, didn't say "you're welcome" when my mom thanked her, and didn't even return our "goodbye." Also, the product shelves were DUSTY!! I used to love this place but I honestly will not spend money here again. read more

I had prom last weekend & had an appointment for 10:45AM. My appointment was originally 10AM, but when I called to add another person, they told me 10:45 was the earliest they could do. I asked if they had any earlier and they said no. Never been here before but it was close and decided to give it a go. Walked in guy behind desk was on the phone and glanced at me so I patiently waited. Finally he got off the phone and I'm sorry but you could be a little more cheerful when greeting people into your establishment. From a distance the place looked cool but when I looked around the lobby there was a table with nail dryers and bunch of random crap on top. Needless to say a little organization wouldn't hurt. Dust EVERYWHERE! Floor, shelves even the walls has dust on them! Good lord would it kill you to clean once and a while?? All I can say is the girl did a good job on my pedicure. read more

I highly recommend SUSIE and Luxe. This nail salon isn't like your average "pick a color, pick a color" walk in place. When I called, the receptionist clearly let me know of the next opening, just an hour later. Inside was a reception/nail drying area where I was greeted and waited just a few minutes for my manicurist. The room is calling and serene with no TVs blaring. My manicurist, SUSIE, was personable and professional and did a great job on my acrylic fill. They've never been this thin and natural before and look just like a shellac manicure and the price was $25, just about what I was paying in a not so pleasant, rushed, loud atmosphere. Just came back from a wonderful aromatherapy pedicure. I was taken exactly at my appointment time and ushered into the pedicure area. If you've never had this type of pedi, please book one now. They slather your feet and legs with fragrant exfoliants and lotions and encase your feet in paraffin wax with warm booties. Relaxing music is playing and my tech didn't speak unless I spoke to her. I love their work, the place is nice and clean, many dip colors (which I like) but if the American girl is working the front desk, I cannot get in, whether I call or walk in, "I don't have anyone available," is what I always get, but only if she is working. I was a frequent customer until I went in for a gel polish change two or so weeks ago, the gentleman started a manicure instead (this was the second time it had happened to me) - I felt bad so I said it's fine charge me for the manicure. I was happy with the initial product until less than 24hrs later four of my nails had snagged/caught on clothing, both thumb nails had ripped down to the skin, forcing me to cut them down very short. Mind you, my nails are thick and strong. I had called the salon to tell them what happened, the girl said I could come in for a repair... there was nothing to repair, my thumb nails were as short as can be and my two other snagged nails were filed down to safety. She then told me one of the managers would get back to me, they did not. No one reached back out, even after a voicemail was left. I called today for an express pedi with someone other than the gentleman that did my mani, I was told everyone was booked up. I respectfully cancelled that request and asked her if the situation was brought to the managers attention, she proceeded to remind me that I could've come in within the two weeks of the original appointment and it would've been repaired for free... I then reminded her why it couldn't be repaired, I got nothing but silence so I told her this whole thing was frustrating and still, silence. Poor customer service from her and lack of customer loyalty, this would not have been an issue if management had reached out to at least apologize. I will not be returning to Luxe and will be finding another salon to be loyal to. read more

I won't go anywhere else for my nails! I have been here a few times over the last year and I have gotten pedicures and gel manicures. The gel manicures last longer than anywhere else that I've been to. I get a solid 2 weeks out of them but usually 3 to almost 4 weeks and when you are a horse girl and dog groomer, that's very impressive! Prices are too steep. Every time I go there I expect quality results and end up disappointed with them. If am paying 70 dollars for a regular pedi and gel mani I expect them to be of the highest quality and to last...but no they chip right away and their painting job is horrible. I've walked away with bubbles and horrible looking nails more than once. I would've done a better job painting my own nails at home. 4 stars and a half I would expect excellent nails and for the price as well. Will not be returning. read more

I was really excited to try this place because of the good ratings, but was extremely disappointed. My gel mani/classic pedi was $70 which I thought was a little high but was willing to pay it. The salon was clean and the nail techs were nice, although the nails stations were too close together and my chair got bumped every time someone walked by. The part I was disappointed with was how long my nails lasted. My pedicure chipped after THREE days! I went back in and she was nice about fixing it. Then it chipped again two days later... I kept my feet under the dryer longer than they told me to, but my 2 big toes were ruined as soon as I put on my shoes. They either should have told me to wait or used better quality dryers. Went to Luxe nails for the first time yesterday. Just moved to the area from Boston and I am extremely picky with my nails. First impression was good, the place was clean enough and the receptionist was nice. She asked me to pay upfront which is understandable. I had french manicure in shelloc done and shelloc pedicure. My nail tech was Joice and she was very nice and very quite, which is not a bad thing if you dont feel like talking. Her pedicure was amazing and just perfect. The manicure was pretty good as well but she is not the greatest on the french technique but, again, I am very picky and hard to please, I also think she is new since there was a guy watching her work from time to time which, in my opinion, was super annoying but I get it, I guess. I am also not crazy about french nails just in general so maybe its not even her fault. Had french nails done as a request for a wedding. Paid 80 bucks plus tip. They dont take tips bu card and I had to drive all the way to the atm to get the girl her tip, didnt like that, they should take by card as well. Hope the receptionist gave her her money. I do recommend this place and I will go back and see Joyce again. 4 stars because of the inconvenience of having to get cash for the tip and because of the guy watching over her which I didn't appreciate. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. In just 3 days it looked like my nails had been done 2 weeks prior. Huge chunk of polish chipped off my pinky nail in the shower on day 2. Bubbles covered my nails, clear coat was not applied evenly - didn't even reach the edges of my nails. Lighting in there is so awful you cannot see how awful your nails look until you leave. My manicurist didn't speak to me. I accidentally smudged a nail, he rolled his eyes at me and made a large sigh and then just threw a huge thick coat over it which NEVER dried and dented 3 hours later. I will never go back here again. Simply wanted my nails to look good for my wedding day, I would have been better off painting them myself. Total disappointment. read more

This place has gone down hill. I have been going there since they opened but the technician that did my nails has left. Now I have had 2 horrible powder dip fills and decided to go there one more time. This time was the worst. The technician cut my skin where it was bleeding on one finger and filed my other finger and cut that one as well. They never have a walk in appointment and upcharge for every little thing. I went for a pedicure today on another person's recommendation. The salon is clean and beautiful, and the nail polishes are all nice brands and well organized. My first complaint was that they sat me down and left a cold tub of water from the previous customer. I guess they hadn't emptied it yet. Then it was filled up again without being cleaned first. My biggest concern is that it hurt when the tech clipped my cuticles, and she ended up cutting the skin on the top of my left big toe and poked me to the point of pain while clipping my other cuticles. She did a great job other than that, but I'll stick to my usual salon that charges less and I don't leave with cuts read more

I have been going to Kim at Luxe Nails for over a year and I have never left the salon unhappy. The salon is extremely professional, clean, well-kept, and it's also quiet and relaxing. It's very well set up with the pedicures on a separate side and the manicures on the other. If you're anything like me, you know that some nail places have glaring fluorescent lights that make it anything but relaxing. Luxe Nails is very naturally lit and the noise level is very minimal, in order to fully get the relaxation you want.
