This is the 7th or 8th time there, if given last time I would say try them, but today I wasted money on a pedicure I couldn't enjoy because they did a manicure at the same time, couldn't get comfortable with one arm stretched across my body and pulling my shoulders in awkward directions, I never even relaxed enough to enjoy the pedicure, sadly going to try somewhere else after this visit. read more

Hit or miss I don't know why I keep going back there. Can't find a nice decent salon around. I always tip well they know me but never acknowledge me.. I see them being so nice and friendly with all the other customers but not me. I get the quick and dirty version almost every time. So inconsistent I called and made an appt with a specific girl/Nope gave me someone else even though the one I requested was working. They treat me like they doing me a favor and their prices are not cheap, Never offered water massage chair one time I had 3 different people work on me, without washing their hands. I went in to go get my acrylics removed and it was the worst experience of my life. The tech filed my nails down as you would usually do but then did not soak my nails and instead just grabbed a nail tip out of the box and began chipping away at my acrylics and just peeled them straight off. I was sobbing in pain in the chair and the tech just kept asking if it hurt and I just said yes it does and he just kept going. I ended up having to go to the doctors for antibiotics because they got infected almost immediately after. Most painful experience ever. read more

I got a dip manicure and it came out awful. The color looks fine but they didn't do anything to clean up my cuticles or my nails. I asked them to shape my nails because they were in pretty rough shape and I have jagged edges on almost every nail. They barely touched them with the file and did not ask if I liked the shape. I also look like I have bubble nails and on both my thumbs the dip doesn't even go down to my cuticles. I decided to try this place based off recommendations from people I know, instead of going to my usual place. I will never go back. When you get your nails done you should feel like you're being pampered and have it all done. All they did was paint them and send me on my way. No lotion, barely filed, didn't trim my cuticles or clean my nails up at all. read more

Got a full set less than two weeks ago and I was pleased so I returned for a acrylic gel fill. How wrong I was to return, took over 1 hour and 20 minutes and my nails are destroyed . The amount of filing was absurd and I even mentioned it because I had plans. I ended up leaving in tears due to the acetone that was applied to all the cuts that they had caused from being so rough. Needless to say I will not be back which I told them as I left. Hoping the nail beds won't get infected they are beyond sore. read more

Went in to get a full set, everything was an up charge. Nail shape was an up charge, different color polish was an up charge, length was an up charge the nails were clipped and shaped up charge. $60 turned into $98. paid extra for design and 1 nail correct and it was too long and the other 9 wasn't the same design. I have been going to this salon for years, but the service has recently gone far downhill. Last time, I visited for a pedicure, which was wonderfully relaxing but the polish job was terrible. One of the toes was smudged and another had a fuzz from the towels they use embedded in the nail. I'm not sure how they couldn't see that. Today I was in for the most rushed manicure of my life. It was basically a polish change. Barely any shaping, no cuticle treatment, no hand massage, and a single coat of color polish. I normally would look to put my rings back on and pay before they start the polish but it came so quickly I was totally caught off guard. Add to that their prices have gone up. With other options in the area I will not be going back. The ladies who work there are kind but this is a poor value. read more

This place horrible. I came here thinking it was gonna be at least decent but I was wrong. I got a pedicure and a gel acrylic fill. My nail broke after 3 days!! (I don't work with my hands or do much with them) Not to mention every nail was so streaky. I went back to get it fixed and the lady tried to paint it the wrong color after telling her what the color was. Now a couple days later I have one nail hanging on for dear life and another one just broke! It hasn't even been a week and a half! I get fills Regularly and they last me 2 to 3 weeks. They even charged me extra because i get them long! Now the pedicure, my toes chipped in less than a week. I will definitely not be going back and recommend you don't go here. So many other places do a good job and deserve your money. read more

This place has the nicest staff & they are very professional. I called them today to make a last minute appointment for 6 & they took me with no problem. I thought they closed at 7:30 but I later found out that they actually close at 7. However, this did not affect the level of high quality service I received. They took the time to make sure my nails looked perfect even though I was there past 7. They even put lotion on my hands before I left. I tried Essence Nails for the first time on Sunday and I will definitely be back. The nail salon I was going to no longer is open on Sunday and that is the most convenient time for me so Essence wins on that alone but...my pedi was wonderful. Update 3/22: I now have two broken nails, I won't be going back as they clearly did not do this correctly. They were very nice, just two people male and female working. However I went and had the dipping powder (I've been doing this for a while now) and the sheer base powder was never applied. I thought okay maybe it'll be okay. Now 5 days later the polish has cracked leaving my nail bent. read more

I had been skeptical about new nail places for a while but then on a Monday I was looking for a place to get my nails done. So a few weeks ago I was looking at yelp reviews for this place and thought I'd give it a shot. I got a full set of gel acrylics and they came out beautifully! The owners offered me water and took their time to do my nails. Acrylics can be a little difficult to trust because some places will rush the job and then the nails break, which is super frustrating. But because they took their time on my acrylics and I was so glad to have found this place. I came back today and they did my nails again and I love them. GREAT PRICES, even greater results. Clean, relaxing and efficient. I'm assuming this was because they were short staffed but I've never gotten my gel nails done while still getting the pedicure. She didn't mess them up but it drew away from relaxing on the pedicure felt rushed. I did not like getting dismissed when I suggested I may need 3 coats but I did only need 2. The thing that bothered me the most is that a man walked in with his autistic friend or son I don't know and the staff said they did not have time for him. I thought it was because they were half staffed with only 3 employees but 5 minutes later a woman walked in no appointment for a mani pedi and they took her. I don't know the stores motive on that whether it was financial, disrespectful or they knew the person but it didn't sit right. read more
