I haven't eaten here since Manos closed shop, but the apps looked pretty good. A couple of couches for comfortable seating, a couple or three pinball machines, pool tables, a dart board, or two. It was like it was meant to be. Everyone found out the surprise accidently a week prior to the wedding thanks to The Toledo Blade but the staff here would have kept the secret for us otherwise. You honestly couldn't ask for a better venue in the area. Full of history and charm. Then you have the amazing staff there that truly go above and beyond. We only had 30 guests for our wedding and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. Food was delicious, hot, and all had unique flavors. Which doesn't always happen group dining options. The Oliver House is where I got to marry the love of my life, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Will be dining here for many years to come.

This bar has been here probably as long as I've been in Toledo and that's over 15 years. When you walk in you see this beautiful bar made out of wood. I don't know who made it but it is gorgeous. They have a nice selection of alcohol for cocktails and Sutter Home type wine. Even a few craft beers for me. They have special events like jazz on Thursday for free with free appetizers and host comedy events on occasion. Only problem is you have to search it out. They don't do a great job of advertising. Now this place has a reputation of being a primarily black bar but I have seen folks of all ethnicities here and they are welcome. The bartenders are semi-friendly depending who you get.
