I ended up with a compass pendant since mom was my guide and I became hers later in life. Laura even suggested using her diamonds to face east to west for her sunrise and sunset. 2 things. First, I…read morebrought by David Yurman bracelet in to get fixed. It looked fine and was whole - in one piece as when I bought it. It had a small loop in the stringing that needed to be tightened. They reached out a week later and told me it could not be fixed, come get it. When I returned it was in a pile - see picture. There was no offer to pay to reassemble it, just "here's your bracelet" although now it is just a pile of junk. Second, the woman at the front desk was a mean, snarling, uptight and obviously not very bright spokesperson for the store. She immediately told me it was not their fault, that it fell apart "as soon as they took it out of the bag" and I have no recourse. This woman needs to find a new job. Put her in a back room where she has zero customer interaction or under the bridge from whence she came. It's alright bitter, unhappy, unhealthy shopkeeper, I'll make sure the news of your attitude and customer service finds a much larger audience. Maybe you'll learn the lesson that if you don't treat the customer correctly, it will have consequences.

Bess did a beautiful job with this piece from Tiffany & Co. This olive branch pendant was from the Paloma Picasso collection, and the difference in price to exchange it for the gold pendant would have cost an additional $800.... so I decided to take it to Lilly Porter. For only $75, Bess was able to transform this piece into the gold pendant I wanted! Pictured, you can see the original chain (sterling silver) that matched the pendant, and the finished gold plated piece. A few things to note... this isn't your typical retail shop. They are located in an small office building on Maple drive. To the right of the building, you can enter the underground parking deck which also leads to parking in the rear of the building. You'll have to walk up to the front and dial 06 to enter the building, then Lilly Porter is located on the second floor, towards the front side of the building in suite 200. When you walk into Bess' office, you can see a lot of jewelry renderings on the wall, as I believe she's best known for her custom jewelry designs. All in all, this was a great experience.
