My daughter and i went for gel pedicure and one manicure. I was charged $145. SUPER OVERPRICED. THE manager/owner did not work on me or my daughter and tried to tip herself and attempted to withhold for herself the tip that was meant for the two Latina technician that wirked on myself and my daughter. My daughters manicure was sloppy. The color was out of the lines and thick. The technicians were nice but poor work and the manager/owner is a scamming thief. I WILL NEVER RETURN. read more

First off price wise in this area they are all the same , it honestly comes down to spending your money wisely. And for their price point I think they are super reasonable because they do an exceptional job. No matter who I've had or how busy they can be, each person takes the time to really shape my nails, cut, file, massage, they do it all with great precision and focusing on every detail. My cuticles never bleed or get chopped up and grow back all crazy. The results are always the same, my nails look healthy and flawless! They stay looking great for almost two weeks! I decided to give them a try today and I am so glad I did! I got a regular manicure, which a technician started, however when I said that my nail was cracked, Kathy (the owner) said that you would finish it. She did an amazing job repairing it and my manicure is perfect and she is super nice too! Now about the salon- Beautiful, modern, upscale and its my new salon!! The regular manicure is $14, so it's s couple dollars more than other salons, but it's so worthwhile!! Give them try!!! read more

The only good part of this salon was the receptionist and how quick they were able to take me in (with appointment). I asked for acrylic but the receptionist persuaded me with uv gel which I did not mind (however the prices are ridiculous - almost $100 (without tip) for full UV gel set with minimal design). Sam, the artist, did not tend to my needs when I asked if one of the nails could be straightened - burned my finger with the e-file. You can see how wonky the shape is. In addition, she flicked my hand indicating to use the UV light. Would not recommend this artist, however everyone else seemed lovely. read more

This is the worst nail salon. Went in for an appointment and waited about 20 minutes until I was actually taken care of, nails were not done the way I asked and after paying $70, I had to return 4 days later because the nails were peeling of like stickers. Called and made an appointment to get them removed and fixed, the man who took care of me failed to trim my cuticles, or clip any skin around my nails. He then presumes to give me the dip powder I asked for but does it completely out of order. I am now left disappointed yet again with thick, unevenly colored nails. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be disappointed and waste 2 hours of your life. read more

This is now my favorite pedicure spot! I spent the extra $10 to have them work on my extra dry feet and let me tell you, it was totally worth it!! My feet feels like a baby's bottom now and they also used a hot stone to massage my legs. I would have given 10 stars if Yelp would let me. They also have a deal for mani/pedi only $35! By far the best nail salon in the area, including Hamilton and Freehold. Very friendly and professional staff, they take their time and make sure you have a nice experience. The salon is also extremely clean which is hard to find in my opinion. I highly recommend trying this place for your nails, they even have a $35 manicure/pedicure special since they just opened. read more

I went in for a acrylic manicure on a Wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet. I ended up having two women working on me at once, one on each hand. They spent a solid hour on my nails and gave me one of the best manicures I have ever had especially in Central Jersey. This new establishment is 5 stars, hands down. Not only did the nail technicians do a stellar job on my mani & pedi, they went above and beyond and delivered royal treatment. They added a relaxing hot stone foot massage, hand massage and shoulder massage. They were exceptionally kind and took pride in every little detail of the service. Perfectionism is the right word here. This is now my go-to nail spa. I've been to every single nail place in East Windsor and Luxor outperforms them all. I'm more than satisfied. read more

hands down THE WORST nail salon i've ever been to! i've been looking for a closer nail salon, since my usual is 30 minutes away, and luxor nail and spa in east windsor was only 5 minutes away. i booked an appointment for acrylic nails (only hands). acrylic nails are usually $45-$55. this lady charged me OVER $70!!! LIKE WHAT??!! so crazy and absolutely a scam. what a RIP OFF! keep in mind i am under the age of 18, and i payed for myself. i literaly got robbed of my money. i asked the lady who was doing my nails multiple times how much it was and she just avoided the question. so i asked the lady at the cashier why in the hell they're so expensive and she said because they used uv lights. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ALL MY NAIL SALONS USE UV LIGHTS. YOU'RE TELLING ME UV LIGHTS ADD AN ADDITIONAL $30????!! not only this, but the customer service was horrible. the lady doing my nails kept siging in my face and she was very rough on my nails. i came home with very sore fingers and nail beds. and the funny part.. my nails didn't even come out nice! they were crooked and not painted well, i had to ask her to repaint them. overall, i will never come back to this place. i totally got robbed of my money and scammed. it was 100% not worth the money or my time. i hope whoever's looking for an honest review, they read this one through. read more

What I will say first and foremost is that the spa is beautifully decorated and has very modern features. They have nail dryers under the tables and everything is very upscale. My pedicure was amazing and it was by far the best experience I had while here. Soon after my pedicure was done over walked my nail tech named Chris who pretty much ordered me out of the chair and then had me grab all of my own belongings in the next chair while my toes were wet! Then during the application of my foot and the filing process she was very rough with my hands pulling them propping them and sighing heavily when I expressed discomfort. The shape did not come out as I requested either actually a couple of nails look lopsided to me. The other I was out was satisfactory at best. If I ever have to come back I would definitely only be seen by the owner or the girl who did my toes. I definitely got the impression that Chris was prejudice towards me and really did not want to service me. read more

Went in to get a fill, would have been $45 for a fill because they gave me no option for any colors other than gel. I say would have because I walked out. They were twisting and pulling my hands in unnatural directions, cut my nails way too short (CUT not filed, you don't cut acrylics), and ripped two of my nails off leaving my natural nails destroyed. read more

Been here three times...each of which was ok. Kept thinking it will improve, but while the staff seems sweet, they are very inconsistent. Base coat sometimes, they offer back massages...to some. Seem rushed and having tried going back and not found any improvement will not be going back. read more

I went in for a mani and pedi. The place is clean by appearance and my pedicure tech was nice but that was the only positive that I could mention. Especially in this "Covid" environment, I was expecting more sterilization or cleaning. They did not wipe counters in between customers; they had their metal tools in blue solution (which was fine) but reused flies and other tools over and over again. My manicure was rushed, with the second coat of polish only covering 2/3 of my nail. The massage was short because she was rushing. They were NOT short staffed. There was 2 other women sitting there doing nothing. My pedicure was ok. There was a plastic bag liner of the tub. It was a decent pedi but short and nothing special. Then when I get to the counter, it was $45 plus tip. The woman asked for the tip, which I thought was a little unprofessional as well. For a $45 mani-pedi on an off day (not a weekend) and not a peak time, I feel that the service and cleanliness of the whole situation was not worth the money. I won't be going back. read more

Today my daughter and friends call before getting nails done and talked to the owner They were told that promotion was over, but the promotion now was 30% off all services. That was until it was time to pay! Then they said they never said that and refused to give the the discount. These were high school Seniors that are very conservative with their money. They specifically called to verify the pricing before they went. But, they were lied to! Shame on you Luxor Nails! Not a good way to run a business. Don't think you will be around long if you lie to people and rip them off. Don't support a business like this. You won't know what you are paying until you go to pay, and it could be any amount!
