I was looking for something local and convenient, and after reading some positive reviews, I decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, my experience was a bit disappointing. I had a long day and am also pregnant, so I was really hoping to unwind and relax. I did make an appointment and even came in earlier than I preferred, but I still had to wait quite a while. While my feet were soaking, the nail technician asked if she could do another client's eyebrows, and I agreed thinking it would be quick. It ended up taking about 20 minutes, and then another eyebrow client was taken as well. After being there for around 40 minutes with my pedicure still not started, I canceled my other appointment for the evening and asked her to take whoever she needed so she wouldn't feel rushed with me. The technician was kind, and I tried to stay calm and make the best of it, but the pedicure itself felt rushed. My feet weren't cleaned as thoroughly as I would have liked, and there was a small cut that caused bleeding toward the end. On the positive side, my toes did come out really beautiful. The service was $30, which is very affordable, and I do think you get what you pay for. While I appreciated the friendliness, the overall experience wasn't as relaxing as I had hoped. I really wanted to like this place because the prices are affordable, and the nail tech is super sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, the sanitation practices are seriously lacking. My nail tech was going back and forth between me and another client, applying acrylics on me and painting her nails without washing hands or at least hand sanitizer. They also reused nail files and tools on the clients before me, on me, and on the client after me without sanitizing them or even the work station in between. What really concerned me was that they cut me with the electric nail file, and then immediately used the same bit file and tools -- now with my blood--on the next person without sanitizing it. That's a major health risk and completely unacceptable. On top of that, my nails turned out ood. Like some of the comments mention, this isn't the place to go if you're looking for an upscale experience, but if you're looking to get good work done at an amazing price then this is the place. Nail tech is great! If I'm not satisfied with something nobody makes me feel bad or talked bad about! Lee has been doing my acrylics and it's been nothing but a great time. My husband and I don't have childcare most of the time and Lee welcomes our 2 kids with us (of course when it's not busy, they're rascals), and all the staff is always soooooooo beyond amazing to our whole family. My oldest son was getting antsy (3 years old) so one of the staff who was doing my husbands toes grabbed a chair next to his daddy and put his feet in the water and massaged his feet too! I had came in as a first time costumer to get my acrylics off and get a gel manicure. I never had an acrylic removal so painful. An acrylic nail was being used to take my acrylics off! She filed my nails unevenly even after I asked for them to be the same length. The salon did not look clean for we still have protocols. There were ants and desks did not look cleaned off. After hearing that the nail tech hasn't received any of her vaccinations and was not using gloves it made me a little worried. One nail tech had a hair net on, one with her shoes and feet out, and another on the phone speaking loudly. They do not accept card so I had to Venmo which I didn't mind but once I paid the nail tech she rolled her eyes at me which made me uncomfortable and had me think twice whether I should leave a tip or not. I liked the photos I saw on yelp but when I walked into the shop, I became skeptical. My first concern was the question of cleanliness. No clean towel was used, things seemed unorganized and disheveled. Nothing was dusted off or wiped down. Honestly, I was questioning if they were using clean instruments or reusing things as I looked around and watched the process. I called before to ask if she does chrome nails and she said yes. But it turned out she had the chrome but had no idea how to use it. She did a few test designs on a fake nail. and then she did one of my nails as a final example. It wasn't good. So I just opted for a plain polish color. They literally ONLY did my nails. It only cost me $25 which I assumed is why I didn't get any cuticle work, no lotion, no cuticle oil, hand washing, no other service and had to sit there quite a while as she stopped working on me to go work on someone else (which I was fine with since she asked me if it was ok). My other worry was that I have real nails so I was really nervous on how they were going to treat it. My goal is to have the least amount of damage done to them but Lee (& her husband?) used techniques that I haven't seen before and seemed a bit heavy in the filing which made me really uncertain if my nails will be ok after this. (I did tell them before we started that they were real but I also know not very many people specialize in the care of real nails.) They were both very sweet and kind but unfortunately I'm not so sure I will be back. I do wish them the best though! read more

I've been going here for about 2 years now. Lee, the manicurist who is stationed right next to the front door it the BEST of them all. THE GOOD- she takes her time and the nails last a VERY LONG TIME. I can go up to a month between fills... yes, my nail will be at the tip on my finger... but it will NOT FALL OFF !! THE BAD- she takes her time... and this means you will be there for well over an hour for a fill. They have a small (and ugly) selection of nail designs. When she notices that i have a fresh pedicure...and knows i didn't get it at her shop..i get lectured. THE UGLY- i was once getting my nails done there and Lee called a taco shop to order some food to go, when the taco guy answers she put the phone in my hand and had me place the order for her.... while she worked on my nails... yes.. true story. when i need fast service and a sic nail design i go to 54th & El Cajon...all other times... this is where you will find me ...getting my nails did !!! read more

First I walked in and I was told I would be next for a fill. I waited quite a long time. Finally the man that works there took the polish off and drilled around the growth. (Pretty sure he's not licensed) I then waited (for a long time) for the woman by the door to finish with the first woman. She actually started doing my nails while I wasn't even sitting in her station. First the place is really dirty. They have stuff everywhere. There was so much stuff at each station, I couldn't even set my phone down on the counter. The woman had a large pile of dust from drilling. The dust had to have been from a really really busy day or a week. I was also very concerned of why they kept the fill powder in a Oil of Olay container stores in a small cooler by her station. Why?? Only thing I could think of was that it wasn't okay with state board. I looked around for where the staff's license were posted. (Only one had it posted on the wall). I asked for polish not gel. The polish was not nice, very uneven. The price is very cheap, $12 for a fill. I am certain the price isn't worth it. I really wish I would have paid a lot more for something that doesn't need to be repainted. read more

They're cash only and I didn't see a sign for that- maybe I missed it. Their skills are good but customer service is bad.
