I am so glad I saw the reviews and gave this Nail Salon a try. No one has ever taken such care as Lily did while giving me a pedicure. Her foot and leg massage is the best. It surpasses all other pedicure massages I've had and is also better than massages I have had at 4 & 5 star resort spas. She ensures you are completely comfortable (no awkward positions trying to hold your foot up). The shop is kinda hidden behind the taco shop next to the laundromat... good thing I grew up on that side of town so I knew where to go looking after reading the yelp reviews. I found her on Yelp and went off the great reviews. The salon isn't fancy and could use an update, but Lily's work is top notch! She really takes her time, she's gentle, and such a sweet and funny soul. Her prices are very reasonable (I tip more bc she charges so less) and I am extremely pleased with my gel manicure and spa pedicure. She has endless amounts of colors to choose from. Came as a walk in and Lily was able to get me in for a pedicure right away. She is the only one working during Covid, so I found it's best to call first. But she really took her time on my pedicure and did an excellent job. She didn't rush you in and out like some nail places. The massage chair was nice and she even offered a cold bottle of water which was a kind touch because today was a little warm outside. Several covid measures were taken so it felt totally safe. I really like this place. Its budget friendly and Lily is fast yet really gentle. I took off an old set I had gotten at a different place and my nails were thin and the corners kept snapping off so I looked for a place nearby to get a short set. She suggested I don't get tips and just do acrylic over my natural nail and the result is really cute! Nice color too! I noticed this salon undergoing renovations recently when dropping off my laundry. My usual salon was booked out for the day so I decided to give this one a shot. LOVE THIS PLACE!! I have a new salon!! It actually has a bit of ambiance to it, too. Meticulous attention to detail and they even offer gel pedicures.... Lily is the owner (so super-cool that we have the same name!) and she's been in the beauty business for many years, finally opening her own salon. She also does hair but I didn't need a haircut just yet. Only downside - parking can be tight in the lot. read more

She asked me to leave because I asked her to change her gloves. She was in the middle of doing my pedicure when another customer was getting ready to leave. She reached into the other customers bag, grabbed her money, went next door to grab change and came back all with the same gloves on. I kindly asked her to change her gloves and she asked me why, I said because she had been touching money. She said she touches money all the time and that I should leave so she doesn't get me sick. I told her "really I just wanted you to change gloves it's no big deal" but she wasn't having it. I had to leave with my nails half cut. I did not mean to offend her but honestly that's gross. She could have easily just changed her gloves but whatever. I get that this is more of a mom and pop nail salon but hygiene should still always be a priority. read more

I had the best time here meeting Lily. She LOVES her clients & is incredibly talented when it comes to technique. I wanted a mani / pedi but didn't want to pay the resort prices on Coronado. It's a small place and doesn't have the super premium brands, but you'll walk out with much better mani / pedi than if you'd paid $100. She gives THE BEST massages on feet & hands and really took her time on my foot callouses, as well as cuticles. No rushing here! You'll leave looking great, with a smile on your face - for a very reasonable price! Will come back here next time I visit for work!
