I can't say enough great things about Luxury Alterations and the owners Marine and Khach. My wife and I have been coming to them for years, bringing everything from suits/tuxedos to dresses, jeans, and even curtains. All the work they've done has been perfect quality and always on time. I also really appreciate how they work with you to fully understand what you want, while also lending their expertise. For example I had taken a suit and initially didn't want the sleeves altered until Khach showed me how it would look at different lengths and recommended I lengthen them a bit. After picking it up and wearing it to a wedding, I realized he was right and the extra 1/2 inch on the sleeves really made it sit just right. My husband and I decided to elope December 2021. At first, I wasn't going to wear a wedding dress because we thought we would have a bigger wedding later, but I felt like we might change our mind, so I decided to get a dress, photographer, etc. But I made that decision about a month before our City Hall wedding date I found a dress for an amazing deal that wasn't in great condition. There were some tears in the lace, beads falling off, and it was about 2 sizes too big and a foot too long. After calling and Yelp messaging several alteration stores, I found Marina. Not only did she say that she would have it done in time, but she also did not charge a rush fee. From the first time we met to when I picked up my dress, Marina made me feel so comfortable and taken care of (not to mention her and her husband are couple goals with their cute matching outfits lol). I ended up getting sick the week before my wedding and had to postpone my final fitting until the DAY BEFORE the wedding. There were still some minor adjustments but she was able to take care of them on the spot, and I took my dress home that day. I came to Luxury Alterations with a rather difficult project- a suit where the jacket needed regular fitting but the pants were 4 sizes too large. I wasn't even sure it would be possible to fix. LA told me it may not be perfect, but they would attempt their best. I also brought in a few pairs of pants and a blazer for tailoring. I was pleasantly surprised that the suit pants turned out nearly perfect (definitely a tough task), and the jackets and other pants were perfectly tailored. I had straps on my gown altered. My boyfriend picked up the gown for me and after work, in the evening, I tried it on -- it was not good at all. Uneven and the stitching was ugly. I was devastated. We were flying out to a wedding the next day so I thought I was completely screwed. After my original post, the owners reached out and asked me to come in first thing in the morning. That was very kind of them, and I really appreciated their responsiveness. Thankfully because my flight was in the afternoon, I was able to come in. They fixed the uneven straps, which was great, but the stitching is not nice. The original straps taper. Their method of altering the straps was cutting the excess and sticking it back up, so the straps have an ugly break it them. The continuous taper is gone. Let me start off by saying that Khach and Marine are THE BEST! They literally made me the happiest bride . A little backstory of what happened was that I made the mistake of going wedding dress shopping when I was at my smallest weight (a year ago)‍ . Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding, MY DRESS DID NOT FIT. I felt devastated and the very first tailor I went to, told me that nothing could be done because of the beading and what not. With confidence, I can assure you Marine and her husband (who run Luxury Alterations) are extremely talented and experienced with altering wedding dresses. Even with a complicated dress like mine. I came to them with a floor model originally made for a 6' tall model and it was somehow destined for me, a 5' gal. The real difficulty came with the skirt, though. The skirt was sequined lace with a pattern that was nearly non-repeating. This meant they had to artfully cut and piece the skirt together and somehow leave no sign of alteration. And they did it! My dress looked as if it was made custom for me straight from the source.
