I've been to this salon a few times. About two weeks ago, I got Gel-X nails, and they only lasted about two weeks. Since it was my first experience with gel, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to come back today for an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, today's experience was much worse. Before he even put the tips on, he asked me at least five different times what color I wanted. I explained each time that I was still deciding because I wanted to look through the color book first. Instead of giving me a chance to choose, I felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. The nail tech was also on the phone during my service, and I felt like I didn't have his full attention. I asked for a simple, short, super square acrylic set, but my nails ended up rounded, uneven, and sloppy. I also requested a simple two-color design using a pastel yellow and pink. Instead, he used a neon yellow instead of the pastel shade I had chosen and never gave me the opportunity to choose the pink shade I wanted. As soon as he applied the colors, I politely told him I didn't like them. He huffed, walked away with a visible attitude, and made me feel uncomfortable for simply speaking up about something I hadn't asked for. At that point, I didn't want to argue, so I kindly asked him to just do white instead. Overall, I left disappointed. I expect to be able to take my time choosing my colors, have my requests listened to, and be treated respectfully if I ask for a correction. Between feeling rushed, the poor communication, the attitude when I spoke up, and the uneven quality of the nails, this experience fell far below my expectations. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Got a pedicure here and I can tell this place is quite popular. The customer service was great, clear pricing, and quick service. I feel like the pedicure could have been done better but overall I wouldn't say it was a bad experience. They are pretty clean and I wouldn't say come again. It felt like a nice salon.

I'm updating my original review because the owner reached out to me immediately. I was able to schedule an appointment as she had one of her best nail techs(Pink) remove the old set that I complained about and gave me a brand new set. They also fix my toes. In my original review I spoke of how nice and courtesy the owner is and I stand by that. I am now a repeat customer and I will keep my biweekly appointments because of how the issue that I had was addressed. Great job Luxury nail bar (Chamblee)

Came here with my friend for a girls day and was immediately sat. My friend told me usually they're busy so we probably came at the perfect time-- on a Saturday at that. Tran was my tech and she was so professional and sweet. I usually have issues with the way people do French, but she did a great job. Free beverages during your service from alcohol to soft drinks. Space was clean and modern with an upscale vibe for good priced services. I got the volcanic pedicure with gel French and it came out to $76. I'm sure price is subject to change depending on how you came in and if you decide to do add on's. Definitely will be back.

I had recently had a disappointing experience at Noire Nail Bar, so I was looking for alternatives nearby. Luxury Nail Bar had the highest ratings, and was an easy drive, so I came here. In both cases, I received a recommendation to come in a bit more often - I wear sandals frequently, so I have a tendency to build up callouses fairly quickly. In terms of quality, I ordered the basic pedicure, $33. At Noire, I'd been getting something a bit more pricey, around $45, in order to get proper callous removal. I was offered a drink without having to ask for it. I took a chilled small bottle of water, but it looks like they have some sort of slush machine, if that's more your speed - and Dum-Dum lollipops (for kids?). The chairs are noticeably more comfortable. Better communication and value overall. A nice, quiet environment - there are televisions but they're turned off. Mostly the hum of the slush machine and the work on other people. I'm happy with the overall package here. Parking is also easy.

Realizing I've been coming here for over four years and have never left a review! - I've been coming here years for a reason; service is always wonderful. They recently underwent a complete change in ownership, revamped the shop, and now provide even more services. They do get pretty busy so it's best to make an appointment beforehand. Vibe is very chill, and since undergoing change in management, talent is pretty consistent with eve to one across the team - if I opt to be serviced without selecting someone, I know the service will still be 100%. I've been living in Chamblee for almost 6 years and this has always been my go to spot.

Love love love! First, I had to follow where my favorite nail ladies are. Jennifer and Tram are my team and they get me all the way together. Mai is the owner and she is kind, helpful and I'm so happy for her new location. Jennifer has been doing my nails for the last 2 years as well as tram for 3+ years. Jennifer does my nails and tram takes care of my pedicures. Tram used to do my SNS but I opted for acrylic bc I am rough on my hands and need something easy to fill. Tram did not do acrylic and this is when I met Jennifer. They are both meticulous when it comes to their work. The parking is free and easy to find a spot usually. The location is in a nice area and easy to find. Inside it is clean and beautiful. They are all thoughtful and kind. Pics included old and new!

I've honestly tried to give this place a chance since I live sooo close to this salon. The color on their SNS booklet does NOT match what color shows up on your nails - I e had the nail tech agree. I think it's a specific brand (not all of them) I went in to get my sons nails taken off and keep my nails bare (but still got a manicure) they soaked my nails in acetone for about 20 minutes. After the time had passed I asked the guy doing my pedicure if I could take my hands out of the acetone that another employee put my hand in and hold me someone else was coming. The manicure was fine (no complaints there) but when coming home my fingers started feeling weird and then I start noticing skin on my fingers had a flaky feeling. At first I thought it was the clear coat they put on and some was just on my finger. But after multiple hand washes and layers and layers of lotion, the salon kept my hands in acetone too long and it stripped my skin. When I called she told me to put neosporen on my hands lol This may not be a regular thing they do, but they should be more attentive.

I've debated on writing a review, but now that it's been almost a week and my skin is peeling off my fingers, I guess it's time. I flew in for a show at the Market. I desperately needed to get my nails done after weeks of travel and I found this place and decided it was worth a shot. I have dip/SNS nails. Long story short, instead of wrapping each individual nail with acetone, I was told to just put my hands in warmed acetone for 10-15 minutes AFTER they had me put my fingers in alcohol for about 15 minutes by mistake. Although this was a great manicure, it hasn't lasted. One chipped two days after and my skin has been peeling off where my fingers were dipped in alcohol & acetone. See pictures. I made an appointment and I didn't walk out of their for two hours. I will not be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for a while and had to stop for a few weeks due to life. I came back and my nails were repaired and revitalized by the one and only Jacob! Prices are fair and the hospitality from the entire staff is always nice. They play rnb music most of the time and throw in some other songs but nonetheless it's always a cool vibe. It's so hard to find a quality nail salon in Atlanta, especially one that takes their time, listens to your needs, and provides the best service! I just came in to this salon for the first time and the best pedicure I've ever had in a long time and a great SNS manicure That didn't cost a fortune. They were so kind, understanding, and helpful! Even entertained my Pinterest dreams with the design for my nails. I only had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes to be serviced and even though this location isn't in my neighborhood, I will make the 30-40 minute trek to come back no questions asked! I gave this nail salon several attempts for improvement after the initial service was very nice. It was down hill from there, from long waits, after watching other customers come in and given service immediately,when I asked the owner/manager explained the customers were only getting manicures which as I observed turned out to be untrue. However I decided to give them one more try as the nail tech did a great job, well I scheduled an appointment with that particular technician and on this visit she watched a movie on her phone through the entire service, was rough on her manners, gestured instead of speaking right until near the end when it was time to pay did she begin to speak and show and kind of warmth. After a failed attempt to walk in for an SNS manicure across the street at Noire, I realized Luxury Nail Bar was conveniently located in the same plaza as Whole Foods in Chamblee. There was no wait, unlike Noire, where I would have had to call a day ahead of time to make an appointment. I can't remember my nail technician's name, but I'm kind of glad I don't, because I would hate to bash on her. I was seated awkwardly at the very front of the salon near the front, and I felt odd being alone. They offered me a La Croix and was handed a can of a generic brand sparkling water (not complaining, just thought it was funny lol). The SNS was quite thick - I prefer a more natural SNS look on my nails - but overall, it was pretty smooth. I also kept telling her my nails were not exactly straight, as I have a strange thing about my thumbs and different angles make it appear not to be even/straight. She kept telling me that she wasn't done and that she would file it afterward. Well, she did file it. But it didn't get much better, just shorter. My nails, my thumbnails in particular, were so crooked that I spent a good 10-15 minutes filing my nails to my liking. Not the way I like to spend my time after paying someone to do my nails. On first glance, the manicure looks fine, but I've gotten pickier and pickier as I've gotten more manicures for different salons and technicians. And my nails are in a lot of my Instagram pictures, so the detail on my nails is pretty important to me! I could barely last 2 weeks before going into another manicure, when I usually get a manicure every 3 weeks. Overall, I've had better SNS manicures. I was really hoping this would be my new spot so I wouldn't have to drive out of my way to my favorite nail salons for a solid SNS mani, but I don't think Luxury in Chamblee is for me. read more

I've been going here for over a year, they offer the best quality service, cleanliness, and reasonable prices. They have the best pedicures and really deep clean your nails. I've tried their gel, acrylic, and sns- all are great but their sns service is now my favorite, my last set lasted me 3 weeks (other salons sns would lift / chip in less than a week). Everyone is very friendly, the massage chairs are great, And the icee machine is a cool touch especially in the summer. If it's during the weekend, definitely call ahead to see the wait time or make an appointment. Normally during the week its easy to get a walk in appointment. Make sure you tip your service provider at least 25% especially with Covid, they work really hard and always do a great job. read more

I have the receipts and what I was charged. I had the same exact set in both photos. Color change is what I got at first appointment but as I stated on MY RECEIPT it was charged as a fillin with French. Your mistake when you know I booked a color change. Second appointment I indeed needed a fillin but the first appointment I had only come a day after going elsewhere out of state and hated the color so a fillin was not needed. Like I said you guys definitely over charged me when I had the color change and filing my nails (not reshaping as I came in with almond nails and left the same) Either way I won't come back or be rude but you will be honest about the transactions I made. They did a GREAT job! Vincy and the owner are so very nice, which makes a big difference compared to other places. Plus, to top it off, they're not egregiously overpriced like all the other nail salons. It's right next to the Chamblee Whole Foods so it's in a nice shopping center. The salon was clean and the workers were really helpful. unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best. I got and snails and asked for three diamond beads on each nail. Cost about $70. Originally, the diamond beads were humongous and looked really bad. I ended up asking them to redo it with smaller beads. Super nice about it and did it without any animosity. It's been almost 2 weeks and two of my nails fell off with two days. I work in an office so I'm not working with my hands. I'm really surprised that they fell off because I've never had this happen with sns or acrylics. I might just get it removed early because breaking nails hurt like a butt lol read more

Nice nail shop in Chamblee near the Whole Foods. My nail tech, Trina, did a great job. She took her time and made sure the nail shape is what I wanted. We went through a few pictures for inspo and she did exactly what I was looking for. She was very nice and willing to help. If you come here it's good to have a picture of what you want. Not the best at nail design. I've had nails uneven. I keep going as it's close and not as expensive as others. Today's experience was returning to have a nail repair as the rhinestones had fallen off. My nails have a matte finish. My nail that was repaired is now glossy and the stones are upside down The pictures are left hand correct and original. The right has the nail repair. read more

I changed salons because my long time technician, Jacob, had relocated to Luxury Nail Bar in Chamblee. I have been a customer of Jacob's for 5 years and I wouldn't want anyone else to do my nails. Luxury is in the name and luxury you will find in this new nail shop in the Whole Foods shopping center. We walked in just after they opened today (around 12:30) and we were directed to pick out our colors while they started our spa chairs. We were stopping in for a gel mani and a pedi. The lady that greeted us let us know we can get regular polish to match the gel if we want our fingers and toes to match. Awesome sauce! We were offered our choice of water, soda, La Croix or coffee and ushered over to our comfy massage chairs. They even had my cold La Croix waiting for me!! I had gone here before and had a decent visit but my next trip was with another tech named Bethany. The tech I had before was no longer there. I reluctantly agreed to go forward with the appointment. First - She ran the callous pumice stone on top of my foot because she was distracted and scratched me so hard I bled. Very painful during the scrub. Then cut me on one of my fingers and had to use something to stop the bleeding. She did not wait for my nails to rehydrate after soak off before applying structure so the nails were still all curved. All nails were shaped differently. She did not fully remove the previous nail polish so you could see it on the side of the nails after they were done. My nails started feeling weird after a while so I decided to remove them and this is what they looked like. I have never in my life had this happen!. I am mortified and beyond upset! This is a direct result of improper methods and it will take months to get my nails back to normal.

I've been a loyal customer at this nail salon for the past 8 months, coming every two weeks without fail. While I've always appreciated Nikki for her consistent and excellent work on my nails, and Tasha is so sweet and always so helpful! I'm extremely disappointed and upset with the negligence I experienced from another technician, Amanda. During a pedicure, Amanda used a drill on my right big toe and caused a deep dent that has now resulted in permanent damage to my nail bed. (Photos attached for reference.) This injury is not only painful, but it has left my toenail visibly deformed. I want to make it clear: do not allow them to use drills on your toenails. It is unsafe, unnecessary, and clearly not being done properly here. Ms. Kim is also a talented tech, but unfortunately, even when I brought up this issue multiple times to the owner, Mi, nothing was done. Mi consistently brushes off concerns and moves quickly through conversations without addressing problems seriously. Despite being a regular customer, I've been ignored and dismissed. I'm sharing this to warn others what happened to me was avoidable and should never happen to anyone else. Be extremely cautious and advocate for yourself when it comes to the tools and techniques they use on your feet. Amy who is the absolute best is always so attentive to detail, she's a great conversationalist , and so gentle and that means a lot. At this point, it's unclear what a "basic" SNS service even includes anymore. I intentionally didn't cut my nails down because I knew there would likely be another added fee. On top of that, I got chrome added and my nails started peeling within just 4 days. SNS should last at least two weeks minimum, so the quality definitely did not match the price. Highly disappointed and unfortunately will not be returning.

The only employee there was Alyssia and she said she was the manager. I showed her the design on wanted on my toes which was a solid chrome color. She told me gel would be an additional $15. I said ok. When I was sitting in the chair she asked me if I wanted callous remover and I said yes. She then proceeded to do what all nail salons do when you have gel polish on your toes and filed it off with the electric file which took a total 90 seconds for both feet. She put some type of product on the bottom of my heels and put plastic over them. My feet kept slipping off of the pedestal while she was clipping my cuticles and I didn't understand why she didn't fix this. She started using that grater tool on the bottom of my right foot and cut me in multiple places and then cut me so bad on my big toe it was bleeding profusely. She apologized and I told her I don't want her to use that thing. She said that was her fault because she didn't check to see if I had callouses on my big toe and that the tool was brand new and sharp and she should've been aware of that. She said this. She then squirted some stuff on the cut and I had to ask her what that was. She didn't volunteer that information. She said for the inconvenience, she wouldn't charge me for the callous remover (of course not because you only worked on one foot before cutting it up) and that she would upgrade my pedicure to a Bellini which was basically nothing. I asked her for a bandaid and she said she didn't know if they had any!! I told her I needed a bandaid and she said she would check and came back with a bandaid. When I was checking out, I noticed a sign that said they are prohibited from using tools like the one she cut me with. My total was $105. She charged me $10 to remove my gel which is unheard of, $15 for gel polish which is customary, and then $25 FOR THE CHROME POWDER!!! She did not tell me it was extra when she was telling me the add on prices. I wish I hadn't paid them because it's the next day and my foot hurts so bad! This place needs to close down. I was the only person in there and no one else showed up the entire time I was there except for my brother. The employee said she's been in the nail business for over 10 years but she's using a prohibited tool and cut me multiple times with it. I tried calling them 3x since being there yesterday to request my money back after seeing how badly she cut me and I'm limping and the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. Do not come here if you value your life. I really hope I don't get an infection.
