BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Short story: Staff were rude and unprofessional. Manicure looked terrible and chipped within 24 hours. Long Story: I came to get my gel polish off and have regular polish put on. The male employee who filed my nails did it so roughly I was actually wincing in pain and had to shut my eyes several times. He also cut my finger with the electric file and when I pointed out that I was bleeding, tried to convince me it was "just my skin." The female employee who painted my nails...buckle up. First she asked me why I was only getting regular polish and told me I was "cheap." I laughed it off and agreed I guess I am (I felt very awkward and uncomfortable). She then proceeded to ask me if I work, assuming this was the reason I was cheap. Not only is this inappropriate, I was literally in my work uniform and already paid for the manicure....so yes, I do work! Part of my nail was peeling. She tried to smooth it down with clear polish and got angry when I wanted it filed instead. She didn't paint the entirety of my nails either. When my nails were drying, I accidentally messed up one of them. I was super apologetic, but I could tell the staff was angry at me. Mind you, they weren't busy. I was the only customer there at this point, so I wasn't interrupting anything. Anyways, the woman "fixed" my nail by putting a big blob of paint over the messed up spot. Of course, this didn't dry evenly with the rest of my fingers and smeared as soon as I got in the car. Within 24 hours, all of my nails had polish coming off of them. If I could give this place a -10 I would. I do not recommend going here ever. They drilled down my natural nails and when I said something the nail technician laughed and continued drilling down my real nails when all the dip powder was already off my nails!!! I live nearby and decided to try this place out for a pedicure. It was glorious! The place seems extremely clean, I just wanted my tech throughly wash down the chair and tub I was in after my pedicure was complete. My daughter and her friend went here today for mani pedi before they go to the beach Monday . Absolutely unacceptable work and atmosphere . Friends pedicure was painful and nails cut too short . Paint was sloppily done . Technician asked friend about the purse she was carrying "did daddy buy you that ?" Daughter asked for change for a twenty and was given five ones with assumption that she would be getting the rest as her tip . Daughter requested dip powder and multiple layers were put on and work was rushed and paint was sloppy .. photos attached . Daughter called to speak with a manager after they left and was told the person speaking was manager and no resolution offered . After looking at multiple negative online reviews report was forwarded to the BBB to have this establishment reviewed . I used to go here regularly and was satisfied. My recent visit was a complete disappointment. My technician left my credit card unattended at the front counter while I was getting my nails done. The other technician gave my credit card to another customer. During my pedicure she cut and scratched my toes by accident. The polish does not cover my mail completely. The worse part was how rude the woman was to me when I didn't understand her. The water was too cold then burning hot. She just turned it on and went back to her other customer. Love my nails every time I go here. They all do an amazing job, but I have to say that Leigh is my girl. They are super friendly and it's a very clean and organized salon. No dust or odd odor. They actually take their time to make sure your nails are perfect. I'm one to be picky and this is the best place I've been to. I believe they are very reasonably priced. They are typically very busy when they first open until about 3 o'clock. So if you want to feel totally pampered and want more peace and quiet then go in the evening. read more

The absolute worst pedicure experience I've ever had. An experience tech started my Pedicure, then someone walked in and needed a fingernail fill so he left me & had a young girl (maybe 15-16y.o.) attempt to finish. Unfortunately 1.5 hrs later, I had to leave because I had another appointment & my pedi wasn't even done & there was polish all over the skin around my nails. My nails look nice but worst manicure experience ever. Was ridiculed that my nails were too thin to have a shellac manicure. I explained that it's fine and I normally just get three coats. She went on to tell the other ladies working there, in another language, and they all had a great laugh at my expense. Another lady came over to inspect my nails as they discussed it, in a hasty tone. Isn't having thin nails one reason why a person would want a shellac manicure? The attitude given by the person doing my nails after that was truly terrible and the whole situation was just embarrassing. My nails look pretty good, but the experience really has me thinking that maybe I should file a complaint at the cosmetology board. I paid $30 to be humiliated in public? Customers should never be treated like that, ever, especially when they have no control over the thickness of their own nails. First world problems, right? read more

I got two services (pedicure and shellac mani) and will rate them separately since two different people did them and I had two very different outcomes. My manicure was great. The woman doing it was very sure to do each coat completely and neatly which is so important for the shellac to last the full two weeks. My pedicure. Oh boy. The man doing it cut my nails very short. Warning sign since you never cut toes short. But things were okay when I was moved over to the mani station. A week later I had a raging ingrown nail on my toe needing a doctor to cut it out so now I am recovering from that (plus having to pay for the podiatrist who lectured me on nail cutting as if I did it to myself). I'd give it one star since I have so much pain but the manicurist really did do a nice job and if I weren't so upset about my toe I'd see her again but obviously I will never go back there again. read more

Waste of time and money. I believe this place experienced a change of management/ownership during the summer of 2017. I had come here on a whim in August for a basic pedi. It was ok, nothing special but did the job. I usually go to another local salon for my gel manicures but it's always so crowded. I came here yesterday since I was short on time and saw that there was no wait....should have been a clue. The tech was friendly but either he did not use real gel polish (thinking back on it, the bottle was not opaque as gel bottles usually are) or he didn't prep the nails properly, because I left the salon around 3 pm, stopped to do some grocery shopping, then went home and started to bake cookies. By 7 pm, the gel had popped off of 5 of the nails. Not chipped, not cracked, literally just popped right off. Had to fish one of them out of my cookie dough! They also are pretty aggressive with cutting the cuticles which is supposed to be a no-no, but I've not ever been to one of these quick nail salons where they don't cut them, so I'm willing to overlook that. If I had time, I would go to my usual salon up the street and wait in line for a new gel mani today, but I don't. I WILL be going to Luxury Nails and demanding a refund before I depart on my holiday travel. UPDATE: I stopped in and they wanted to redo my nails. I informed them that I did not have time so they refunded $20 of the $35 I had paid, saying that $15 was for the manicure which could not be refunded but they would refund me $20 for the polish. I guess this is as good as I'm going to get here. I will not be back. read more

I have gotten gel from various salons and have never experienced peeling this early on from a manicure. Tried Luxury Nails for the first time to get my nails touched up before Christmas and when I walked in I was immediately greeted and taken to a station for a fill and gel polish application. The technician was nice but also very quiet (which I don't mind at all) and a gentleman who I believe is the owner sat next to us and made conversation. Most importantly, the technician did an excellent job with my nails!! I've gone to several salons where they just slap some acrylic on and send you on your way but Lin was very thorough and kept going back to file/buff/smooth until she thought they looked perfect and made sure I was happy with the way they looked. It was my first time getting the gel polish and I love the way they turned out - they had a ton of colors to choose from. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails and it was definitely one of the best experiences I've had for a very reasonable price.
