I usually get SNS nails and I only ever need to get my nails cut before starting a new set. The first thing my tech did was cut my nails short to apply tips, one of them she cut so short that I started bleeding. A service that normally takes 1 hour took 2 hours because she took so long to shape and prep my nails before dipping. Once I was finished, I noticed that a few nails were not shaped well and uneven. The color did not settle correctly as there are "dips" on each nail. Very unhappy with the service read more

When I called to book an appointment to surprise my dad for Father's Day, I was excited to see we could all get in at the same time. Today 3 of us showed up for an appointment, and I was left sitting for an hour un-helped by anyone. I eventually just got up and left. Nobody tried to make it right. So I have been coming here for the past 4 or so years and have been away at college and came home for the summer to get a fresh set. I had a very simple french design that I wanted and the up charge for it was absolutely insane. Anyways, I have always loved coming here and never thought twice about it, but I think this was my last time. As soon as my service was done I looked and saw the lines on my nails were neither symmetrical or even, they seemed very off considering I paid $80. It has been a little over two weeks and my nails are completely ruined. I have been getting acrylics consistently for the past two years and have never had issues with them staying on for 3+ weeks. But the ones that have been snapped broke while I was folding laundry and driving. How strange. About a week after they were done they began lifting and since they are french tips I can see the color differentiation, the part that is lifting is white, while the part still attached is the normal pinkish color. They have been getting caught on any and everything making easy daily activities so aggravating!!! All that is to say, is I have always loved this place and don't know if they are under new management, or if the tech that worked on my nails was new to the business and the design was too advanced. I honestly don't know. I normally revive good enough service here but this was and is not cutting it by a long shot. All the same I am very disappointed and will be getting them fixed tomorrow elsewhere. read more

Every time I come here something goes wrong. Last time I got my nails done, they took 2 1/2 hours. This time, my gel polish was opaque in some areas and not in others. When I went back a couple of hours later to get it fixed, they charged me for a polish change. Quite glad I gave this salon another try in spite of my initial experience last year. I'm always at the Whole Foods right across the salon so it's very convienient for me. The place itself is very nice and clean..everything looks really new and a lot of polishes to pick from. Walked in and was greeted immediately by front desk guy and he put my name on the waiting list. Even though they were super busy (a positive sign right?) I only had to wait about 20mins without an appointment. I was offered a glass of white wine and was handed a basket of SNS colors to pick from. I was pleasantly surprised that each color came in SNS, GEL and Regular Polish...that really helped me because I was able to have my SNS color match exactly with my Gel toe nail polish. I've always had a hard time trying to find a Gel color to match my SNS shade as they are two different things. Somehow the colors never came out exactly the same. But luckily the manager told me this new line of product offers one shade in three different forms! Amazing!!! =) Chit chatted with my technician (Linda, I believe was her name)...she said the salon is undergoing new management. That's pretty exciting news since its super convenient for me to come here esp. on weekends; I can get my groceries and nails done. Hopefully they keep up the good work since I'll be needing my pedi very month since summer is almost here! read more

Went here yesterday since the place I usually go to was still closed due to covid. I never write reviews but people should know that this place is terrible at cleanliness. You would think because of covid they would be extra precautious but no. Let's just take covid out of this and watching them not clean down seats properly nor use sanitary tools for each customer is just bad business practice. On top of that I waited over an hour and half normally I'd walk out but I was desperate to get a mani/pedi. I wanted to actually do something fun for my nails which I never do and wanted to get ombré nails in gel. The lady convinced me it would be better in dip powder instead I went along and let her do it. She cut two of my fingers and my nails feel sore today because she was just rough on my hands. Didn't even give me a manicure liked I asked and basically the dip power is so similar to acrylics but on my natural nails. I hate it and I never say I hate anything. I'm not a person to get acrylics and try to stay more natural. Plus the ombré didn't even come out how I wanted to with the dip. On top of all that she charged me $60 for my nails and no manicure. It was $100 total for my nails and pedicure. Also she painted my toe nails terribly. Waste of money, I will never ever come here again. read more

I haven't got my eyebrows waxed in over two years because I was tired of going to places that did such a poor job. I also have a scar along my eyebrow which makes it difficult to match both eyebrows. I always wore glasses to hide them; I went to just get my nails done with my girlfriend and after the job Ken did on my nails, I knew they only had the best working there. I kid you not, I teared up and hugged the woman who waxed my eyebrows. She made the impossible, possible.. I had a terrible experience. The woman who did my nails not only cut me twice (with a buffer), but also messed up my polish. When I asked her to fix my nail she rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted her to do about it. I said to please fix it. I had gotten a gift card for a pedicure at Luxury for my birthday, some time had passed and finally got to go to the salon. It didn't say anything about having an expiration, so I thought it wasn't a big deal. I came in and someone who seemed to be management said it was okay, that it was expired but that he would honor it (nowhere on it does it say an expiration). He was so upbeat and kind! I was so impressed! But then another unfriendly woman I hadn't met came over 10 minutes later and said the opposite, that it was too old and that they now had new management. She folded it up and handed it back to me, I felt chastised. And they had already started on my nails, so it's not like I could say, "Alright, well then I'll just leave." So I sit through a pedicure I don't want, and then leave with a bandaid on my big toe because she rubbed my big toe raw to the point where tons of blood was drawn, and yet still had to pay. Can't wear the shoes I got my nails done to wear because of the pain. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and it's a bummer, I'll be bringing future business elsewhere. read more

I used to come to luxury nails all the time but then I had two bad experiences twice in a row and haven't been back since. The first time I had a horrible day and just wanted to get my nails done to cheer me up. I asked the nail tech for a gel French manicure and then for some reason he was putting acrylics on my nails. I told him that's not what I had asked for and he got very pissy at me rolling his eyes and tearing off the acrylic. After a bad day dealing with a tech that acted mad at me for the duration of my appointment over a miscommunication wasn't what I had wanted. The next time I came in while the tech was doing my nails I did feel a pain in the side of my finger but thought nothing of it. Not even the next day I could see an infection starting next to my nail. It was very sensitive to touch and then went to a dark color. All I'm saying is that sterile equipment wouldn't give any infection, but equipment that was just wiped down and not autoclaved to kill all bacteria would. Will not be coming back. read more

I went here for the first time with my mother on Wednesday. She wanted to go there because a friend of hers recommended it. It is not my usual place. However, it looks just like the place to which I go. Massage chairs and what not. I left there with a burn on my left leg from a hot towel. More disturbing, I have a big toe on my right foot that is infected around the cuticle area presumably from the tools used on my toenails. I have pus exuding from the toe. I called them to alert them that perhaps their tools weren't clean. She was nice on the phone. They apologized. I was nice, too. However, she insisted I had a chemical burn. What??? I reassured here that I'm an RN and I know infection when I see it. She told me to let her know how I'm doing in three days. What? On the other hand, my mother is infection free. Moral of the story, there are risks involved going to these places. read more

My first time coming here... at the beginning of the appointment my nail lady was blowing her nose and didn't feel the need to wash her hands after. She was also a bit rude but I was trying my next to ignore it. I showed her a picture of the nails that I wanted and began doing them. However whenever I asked for something to be fox she said they would get fixed at the end. I waited until it was the end and it wasn't fixed but we just kept going back and forth because she didn't understand what I was saying ig. There was more I wanted fix but just trying to get one thing fixed didn't work so I just left. None of this was worth it because even when I did speak up to try to fix it, it still wasn't fixed well. All in all not a great experience and I don't see a reason to come back if I'm not going to get what I'm paying for or good service. read more
