The first time I came into Elegant Nails I saw Kim and she helped fixed my botched SNS manicure from another salon. I also got a lavender pedicure. Both nail techs were great & the experience was 10/10 I made a follow-up appointment with Kim for a full set of French tip acrylic nails with gel. She absolutely crushed it. I can say with confidence that this is one of the best set of nails I've ever had. Kim nailed (no pun intended) ;) the shape, color and style inspiration picture I showed. Frustrated with the results of my manicure. I went in for a builder gel, French tip manicure, which is what I already had when I got there, but it had grown out. I specifically asked for a slight trim and for my cuticles to be pushed back and trimmed. Instead of filing them, he used the drill and shaved off a chunk of the nail, which made them way shorter than I wanted. He also used the fine tip drill on my cuticles, which did nothing. All the nails are shaped differently and aren't the same length. I had to request multiple times that the white polish went all the way to the edge of the nail (it still doesn't), and had to request two layers of white polish, even though one layer was clearly thin and streaky. There's also a random bump on the middle nail on my left hand, that wasn't filed smooth. Lastly, I pointed out that it looked like my nails had grown out because the gel and polish weren't all the way to my cuticles. He "fixed it" by applying a layer of clear polish all the way to the cuticle, but the gel and pink neutral color still makes it appear as the nails are grown out. read more

It was a bit frustrating that we made a reservation, and with a specific employee for the other person in my party, and when we arrived they seemed to not know about it, asking if we wanted pedicures. But, I will say the service was great and Zoey did a very efficient job in my dip nails, and didn't comment poorly on my nails that were so short from anxiously biting! But nonetheless, prices were really good and service was good! I was also intrigued by their waxing menu as the prices are very fair. read more

OK this is strike 3 (2nd time in 10 months) but the second time I felt ticked off enough to write a review over the nail places here in Lakeway. After looking at the racial demographics for the city, I now understand more about why I am treated differently than most others and not in a good way. Look at the dismissive language on their website for the racial demographics here... I didn't notice it into my dad pointed it out... "Some other race". That's pretty freaking dismissive. I've been going to Elegant Nails for months and never had a problem getting an appointment but for the last 4 weeks every time I called Kim is booked except yesterday. She gives me a 3 o'clock appointment when I called at 2 PM. I get there at 3pm and she is running late because she's shorthanded which I understand. No problem I'll wait given that she took her 2:30 appointment at my 3 o'clock time. I understand running late. What I don't understand is asking me to reschedule so she could keep her 4 PM appointment with someone other client. I told her no. I'm BEFORE your 4 o'clock appointment, they're just gonna have to wait, which ticked me OFF me off that she thought it was perfectly acceptable to bump me so that she could take one of her other clients at 4 PM when my appointment was for 3 PM! And I tip WELL. apparently my money is no good there either. I ended up going across the street to another nail place that I used to go to who got me in last minute at 4pm. I debated whether or not to write this review, but I'm STILL ticked off and I don't appreciate the discrimination. I typically go to my regular nail lady for my pedicures and elegant nails for my manicure. This time I decided to have both done at Elegant nails because my regular lady moved to Kyle and while I will drive out there cause I follow her wherever she goes around the city yesterday she was booked so I decided to , use elegant nails for both. Lesson learned, I'll just stick with my regular lady that now up in Kyle. read more

I went in the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve so I was fortunate to walk in. My nail tech was very sweet. I found it strange that she did not remove my dip polish that I had on when I walked in, but on the upside, my nails were saved one removal. She did a nice job covering up the old polish and getting close to my skin. Overall, I'm pleased with the salon and would go back again. read more

Not happy with their online appointment service. The service requested was canceled at the last minute twice. Even after confirming my appointment, by changing it twice with 2 different tech, they cancelled it at the last minute. They couldn't inform me a day or night before. Very disappointed, since they are too busy booking other clients at the same time, as they go by race. Very Bad service. I could not be more pleased with Elegant Nails! During the last 4.5 years after relocating to the Lake Travis area, I have been to almost every single salon in and in-between Steiner Ranch and Bee Cave. SO many less than stellar, some even horrendous, experiences. :/ I am a very loyal customer. I prefer to find a place I like and stick with them (e.g., I went to the same exact place and saw the same person for 8 straight years in Dallas). After going to another establishment in Lakeway for almost 5 months, my nail gal left for maternity leave and I left were her (she was the only reason I kept going in spite of the management's egregious attitude towards customers, including myself; hint "IDN"). My dutiful hubby, knowing I was on the hunt for yet another nail salon, actually found EN for me while driving through the parking lot of its location. I was trepidatious to say the least. I read some other Yelp reviews and made an appointment with Miss Kim, as she sounded like someone who could fulfill my needs. Fast forward 6 months later and I'm still a happy camper. All of the staff are super nice and skilled, the salon is clean, and they do a very good job with both manis and pedis and are accommodating...even when I insist they do occasional nail art that they don't normally do (Nikki, nothing but love!). I moved here a few months ago and found this place and now I won't go anywhere else! I have always had good experiences every time I have been. I've gotten pedicures with regular polish and gel or dip manicures- every time they last a long time and don't chip. The techs really do a great job to give you what you want and they work with care to every detail. Zoly is absolutely AMAZING. She is an artist. I brought her an inspired pic and she replicated it beautifully. If you are looking to get a set of creative nails, Zoly is your person! (She does great at regular nails, too .) Came in for a dip manicure at 12pm. It is now 330, I just got home from running other errands and realized my nails are already peeling. They were very aggressive with the snippers and several of my cuticles are bleeding/inflamed/sore. I called to tell the girls that my manicure is already peeling only 3hours later and she said she can't help now because they are too busy. They also apparently do not require masks (this is Jan 2021 when ERs are at max capacity in our county) as a woman was receiving a pedicure without one. read more
