I had been eager to check out Asia Land since it opened last month, and it was easy to make an appointment for two spa pedicures over the phone. I brought a newbie who had never had a pedicure before--and the staff, led by Winnie, treated him excellently. Afterward, he kept remarking how he couldn't stop wiggling his toes together because it felt so soft. The spa pedicure consists of nail cutting, shaping, and moisturizing; cuticle maintenance; callus removal; sugar scrub; paraffin dip; mint leg mask; and a 15 minute massage. The sugar scrub felt divine and the mint mask sucked out all the tension in my legs. By the time Winnie finished the massage... my feet felt 10 years younger. All the expected amenities are here for a luxury nail spa location: new massage chairs (with cushy pillows added), spotless interiors, and flat screen TV's. It's also refreshingly uncluttered and quieter than other nail places around--a welcome treat. I'll definitely be going back to Winnie for more pampering soon. read more

I'm really bummed to be wrong this review because I thought this was going to become my go to nail salon. First off, the staff is great, so if you go, please don't have the owner do your nails. I went here about 10 times and both of the times the owner did my nails, I left with a deep bleeding cut that took a week to heal. One got infected. She is nice, but super rough with hands. The last time, I left halfway because I just couldn't continue. My finger was in so much pain it was pulsing. It felt like it had its own heartbeat. (I know, sounds strange). I'm gonna go to another salon, I'm sad but there is too much competition. Places don't have the luxury to have bad service. My nail technician was very thorough and did a wonderful job of cleaning, shaping, and polishing my nails. Regardless of having only one technician available, my friend and I were treated wonderfully with complimentary water and gummy bears. I was looking for a place to get and mani & pedi for my birthday, came across this place on yelp and saw good reviews so I thought why not? Gave them a call and booked a same day appt. I got there seemed like your average nail salon and soon after two more girls came for a same time appt. There was only two nail techs and three girls so the girl doing my nails( i think her name was winnie) started to rush shortly after. Wasn't the most relaxing experience whatsoever but once she was done I was fairly satisfied. Also they don't take card which they didn't mention until I had to pay so I had to go pull cash out and come back. Annoying. Anyway, they were cute and was happy to finally have my nails done. This was my first time trying the dip powder so didn't know what to expect. The next day at work, which requires me to constantly wash my hands and wear gloves throughout my whole shift, I noticed slight cracks and one nail had chipped already. These didn't even last a full 24 hours so I was pissed! I went back to the salons after I got off work and the owner was very understanding and had no problem with them fixing the issue. She started to take a layer off on each nail instead of the ones w the problems and once she finished, they looked even more transparent then before and one nail barely looked like it had anything on it. I was annoyed at this point and didn't want to argue so I let her finish and i left. The next day, i had work again to which i noticed the cracking to start once more. I was furious!! Will not be coming back here that's for sure. read more
