Kitchenland had a showroom with an impressive display of cabinets and Winslow and Marcus helped us to design our beautiful kitchen filled with unimaginable upgrades such as expanding the size of our wall cabinets up to the ceiling, adding a cabinet next to our dishwasher, adding an appliance garage and redesigning our pony wall into a beautiful breakfast bar. We had an estimate done by this company, nothing complicated, we provided the height and the length for a coffee bar. I was quoted $5,900 and was told to come in and see the plan they made. Well I showed up without a appointment just to find out the person did not have a plan, how do you quote me and the plan is not saved. They came to me to finalize the measurements, supposed to get a email the same day no later then the next day. Well no email and after two days I called to find out my estimate is now $7,700. I'm very mad now having spend all this time with them and get this BS, and being excited a project gets finally done. Now I'm at square one again read more

I love the response on here but Jan you are missing my point. With your infinite wisdom were you not ever taught it's not always what you say it's how you say it. From the moment I stepped in and stated hardware you were completely unengaged and dismissive. Yes you did inform me that you mostly specialize in cabinets and not hardware but if you only sold cabinets why have a display(s) of hardware? I've been In Luxury management as well as consulting In sales training for as long as I can remember. I only asked you the prices of 2 items. I wasn't insisting on the individual price list for all items. The irony is I went a few miles out to another location and similar situation difference is how they handled it. He too was transparent about mainly specializing in cabinets but ensured to show me what they have. Asked me what my needs were and not only was I able to find the right one we ended up redoing our cabinets in all bathrooms, laundry room with no issue. In the end it worked out great for us but it's sad to interact with people in sales that seem more invested in their candy bowls then helping the client read more

I contracted to replace my Merillat cabinet doors in the kitchen and bath. They sent Lou Catania out as their estimator. I gave them 50% down on 4/23. Today is 7/26 and they still have my money and I don't have my doors. They missed their first date of 6/21. After many calls they gave me 7/21. After a second missed date, Lou started getting abusive on the phone and has repeatedly hung up on me. It appears to me that when Lou makes a mistake he gets aggressively defensive and nasty. Not quite the professional businessman you would expect from this or any company. All the staff I dealt with were very nice and polite, but Lou refused to honor the 7/21 install date and told me he shouldn't have given that date out. All in all, this is not a company you want to deal with. I surely wish I had used a different one. read more

My husband and I went to their showroom. There was one customer at the time. As we are walking around looking one person came out and was cordial saying how are you folks and kept walking. We waited another five or six minutes and no one help us. In al fifteen minutes and no service. To be fair - This review is based on a visit to the store, not on buying cabinets or a kitchen remodel. Although I do need a full kitchen remodel, and that is why I went to the showroom.... My partner and I looked around first. We wanted to see the selection. The staff did greet us as we walked around. After looking around I had a few simple questions. Simple! When I went to the staff to ask them, they literally shut me down. Not even letting me ask the simplest of questions. We were told the ONLY person that could help us was Lou who was busy. And we would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to ask him any questions. I was not looking for an auto-cad layout, just a few unanswered very simple questions. We considered going back to Kitchenland in an hour or so to talk to Lou, but when we arrived at another showroom, they were so helpful in answering all our questions, got us excited about their inventory and working with them we have decided to re-do our new large kitchen with that company instead. read more

This is the BEST place to get kitchen cabinets!! First, you start with a carefully drawn design. Other places just use drag and drop software. Lou is a REAL kitchen designer; he checks all measurements at the property and really knows his profession! The installers are amazing, too, and it is obvious they have many years of experience with this company. Follow-up on installation is done by Lou and also by the company owner. They all honestly care about customer service and satisfaction. They also installed cabinets in two bathrooms and everything, every detail, was done to perfection. We got Lou, the client was a visual client and needs to see everything. Lou put all the cabinet drawings in 3d, on a big screen so the client could see everything and make changes. He said he needed two weeks to get everything done because he is a busy man and he did not even start. I both wrote and called and he did not respond. I finally spoke to the owner who said he personally would get back to me within a couple hours. He did not. He did have Lou call who told me how important he is and my job is no big deal to him. I can't even begin to say how much I love this company. This is the second kitchen they have installed for us. (The first one was 5 years ago). We just bought another house and renovated it entirely. After it was demo'd, we needed an estimate for the kitchen. We went to Kitchenland and asked for Lou (who had designed our kitchen the last time). He is one of the best designers I have ever worked with. He can look at an empty space and just know what will fit in, look best, plus work with what you want. I was so grateful he was able to come out again and design my kitchen space with me. This company is so good that the installers from 5 years ago are still with them. (In this town!) And again, these installers are phenomenal. There were no problems with installation, no scratches, no placement problems, everything fit as it should.
