Started our first project with Renovo back in spring 2024. We did a total master bathroom/bedroom renovation and couldn't be happier with the results, the team and the journey. First off Ben is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, although we knew nothing about the process we were confident Ben would get us through it. He helped us put our ideas in to a design, helped us shop for materials and made sure we were informed the entire process. Luis was our project manager and never hesitated to help the team, answer questions, listen to ideas for little things and made sure everything went smooth. Eddie is a master in his craft, his attention to detail is really something else and his tile work is pure excellence. I tell everyone he is an artist, and he basically became a part of our family because he didn't just do his job, he made sure we were comfortable and made sure I was involved any thing I might've wanted to know. He made sure our dog was comfortable and my kids loved having him around. We recently hired Renovo again to renovate our kids and guest bathrooms and were glad we did. Ben gives prompt responses any time I reach out, he doesn't hesitate to fix any small issue that might pop up and he really has built a business that provides quality service and consistency. If I could give Renovo 10 stars, I would. We purchased an old ranch house from 1972 that needed a significant upgrade. Everything was original, including the popcorn ceilings, old, "crispy" shag carpets, peeling wallpaper and original appliances. Nothing was properly insulated, and asbestos was everywhere. The place was a mess. We got 6 estimates. Although Ben was not the cheapest (never hire the cheapest contractor anyway - you WILL regret it), he was very reasonably priced, and by far, the best in every possible way. He has a great energy - warm, positive, honest - a true professional with integrity. He offered me a very fair, pressure-free quote along with documentation, including all of his credentials, license numbers, etc. He was transparent from the start, which I greatly appreciated. His team is just incredible - SO dedicated and hard-working. They did everything from insulating our attic to digging footers and adding posts inside our house - after taking down a support wall to open up our space (not an easy feat!) His cabinet maker is so meticulous, and his tiler is a true artist. His painters, electricians and plumbers, are all very knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. My project manager was particularly wonderful to work with as well. I did not live at the house during the remodel; I live clear across the country. Renovating a house that is over 2,000 miles away can be daunting, but Luis made everything seamless. His communication skills were on point. We spoke and texted every day. He was a true partner throughout the entire renovation process which put me at ease every step of the way. I was so pleased with the results of our interior that I welcomed the team back to renovate our exterior a month later. Once again, they did an incredible job. They repaired our walls, fascia, rewired our electricity, painted, added siding, tiled our fireplace, and so much more. All that only took a mere month. Honestly, they are really such a pleasure to work with. About me: I am a [very selective] designer by trade, and have had all 4 of my previous homes gut-renovated over the years, so this was not my first rodeo. Although I worked with very talented contractors in the past, Ben and his team at Renovo are by far the BEST I have ever worked with. When it came down to choosing a GC to oversee the renovation of our new home we reached out to Renovo primarily based on their reviews -honest, competitive, efficient, but the big one for us was "when something went wrong, Ben (Renovo) got it fixed". I did not end up going with Renovo. Got a quote from two of the higher rated companies (Renovo being one of them) in Las Vegas to remodel my only bathroom in my tiny home. Amanda was about 25 minutes late for our one and only meeting, no big deal. We talked through my vision on the bathroom fairly quick in comparison to the other company. I didn't ask for anything crazy, just your basic remodel. Sent her some examples of the floating vanity I wanted. Got an email quote of 32K+ later that day w/ no financing options. With a follow up text. I definitely felt like a number and not a valued customer. We looked forward to some remodeling in our older home for several years and thankfully when we were ready to do something Ben was there. We found Renovo online and set up an appointment to scope out the project. Ben not only owns the business, but is a great project manager. He keeps his craftsmen lined up for step by step renovation from demo to drywall, baseboard installation, custom window treatments, great tile work and excellent painting and trim. He is like a great orchestra conductor as he closely coordinates the whole job. We never felt like we were being overlooked or abandoned but were always confident that whoever was scheduled to do work actually showed up and at the expected time. My wife had concepts and ideas about the designs she wanted and Ben and the team quickly adapted their approach to suit her design. Eddie is the tile master. He did amazing things in our living room with tile. We had an old brick fireplace that we never liked and Eddie turned it into the showpiece that it is now. We thought he couldn't top that, but he did by custom crafting some beautiful cornices to replace the troublesome valances over the shuttered windows. Besides Eddie, there was Luis the project foreman and Victor the electrician who is more than competent. He can solve and or install any kind of fixture. All in all, Renovo Remodeling is the best organized and hardest working team I have ever witnessed. My family moved into our forever home on May 2022, it was a fairly new home built in 2019. Two months after we moved in, the Master bathroom shower started to leak downstairs into our living room area - which is surprising since the house isn't even 4 years old! I called a plumber, he came to check out the damage and said we needed to rip out the whole shower to find out where the leak was coming from. He brought his team over to take the shower apart and said it was probably the shower pan. They got insurance involved, which was about a 2 month process to get some coverage. Once we paid the money that we got from insurance, the plan was to move forward with them and either rebuild the shower or do a custom shower/bath, but that company suddenly stopped replying to my texts/calls. A month goes by with no word from them, so I decided to call other contractors for quotes for a custom shower and bath since we were basically starting over from scratch. I was working with 4 other companies that gave me quotes, but they were hard to get a hold of and for some reason kept giving me excuses why they couldn't move forward yet. After about 4 months of monkey business with these other companies, I found Renovo Remodeling online. When I contacted Ben, he responded right away. Ben came over within the week to give me a quote - which was just a bit over budget for me. We kept in contact, but he was never pushy or overbearing. I called him a few other times and he was always available to answer any questions (I had a lot of questions) but he was very patient, letting me know that all decisions would be mine. We talked more about what I could afford, he gave very helpful ideas that would be affordable but still keeping the aesthetic that I wanted. As a last-ditch effort, I did text the previous contractor to say we could move forward - a week passed with no response! Thankfully, my gut told me to get on board with Renovo just because I felt I could trust Ben. He showed all the signs of being passionate about his work, being reliable, responsive, patient, kind, he knew all the ins-and-outs about his work and assured me that everything would be done by-the-book and all the steps would be laid out. If I could I would give Renovo Remodeling 10 stars!I live out of state and I have a rental property that had major water damage. Once I got finished with the water mitigation I was left with a property that had all the drywall in the entire place cut out from the floor up 24". All the flooring ripped out, base boards all gone, door casing all gone, bathroom vanities in two bathrooms gone, I could go on but you get the point. What a mess! I contacted Ben at Renovo Remodeling and within a day or two he came by and gave me a quote. He went over everything in detail. We agreed on a start date. Ben told me it would take two weeks to complete the job. From the day he started he kept me informed with the progress of the job with emails, photos or a phone call. Everything was go great, then after he installed the flooring he noticed an area in the living room that had a bad squeaking sound due to the swelling of the plywood underlayment. He notified me right away and we discussed our options. He said he thought we may need to remove a large area of the subfloor which would be very expensive. Great, that's all I needed. Then Ben said let me try something to fix this so it doesn't cost you a lot more money. As I was driving into town I got a phone call from Ben and he said he fixed it. When I got there he showed what he did. Not one squeak! Wow! He's a miracle worker! Didn't cost me a penny more! He went above and beyond to save me a lot of money and he was able to blend the paint at the two foot level of the walls so it's not even noticeable. He finished the job on the exact date he told me and he even had a cleaning crew come in that made the place look immaculate. His communication during the entire project was fantastic. We had a leak behind our washer that caused damage to the door casings in the laundry room and next door bedroom, laminate flooring in the hallway, carpet in the bedroom as well baseboards and drywall. Our insurance company sent someone to cut out the damaged drywall, take up the flooring and tear out the doors and baseboards to a) find the source of the leak and b) dry it out. Renovo Construction did a big remodel for our neighbors so I took their recommendation and got a couple of other bids too. I was worried that our job would be too small for Ben and his team but he was happy to take it on and, while we on vacation too. My dad was at home and Ben and Eddie were amazing. They took care of moving my dad out (and back in) his room to replace the carpet and baseboards. The job went smoothly and the house looks better than before the leak. The process was explained thoroughly, all permits and credentials were provided upfront and a clear outline of charges was presented with the expectations at each stage. We are hoping to get some other projects done in the future and will not hesitate to call Renovo back and to recommend them to anyone needing repairs or a remodel. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
