There were some hiccups along the way but they were willing to address them. Some of the employees were great like the baseboard guys, countertop people, flooring installers, and painters. Others were not so good. However, the owners tried to work out any issues that were presented to them. Nova team is about 90% complete with all my large format tilework. My updated assessment of the actual installers is still close to my previous assessment as fast, showed up each day to work, knowledgeable, and professional. I would add that these installers are so fast they they miss important details when installing large format tile and that can raise concerns. The Nova Team has been great in working to address these concerns but being more proactive with their team will go a long way to prevent issues. Being too busy is also another concern but I am hopeful they will work to finish project soon. I will provide a final review when flooring project is completed with pictures. This is the 2nd time Nova Interiors has completed a home upgrade project for me, and I'm as happy this time as I was last time. Alex was quick to respond and gave me a very fair estimate for his proposed design that met my needs. A complete shower remodel was done on time and on budget, looks fantastic and will function well for me as I age in place, while still looking modern and so pretty! Ok, I've sat on this review for 4 years.... for the last 4 years I've been irritated every time I look at the backsplash that was installed by Nova Interiors. We are finally having someone come in to redo the poor work this company done, but maybe I can save someone else this trouble. We tried to live with it and tell ourselves it's not that bad, but honestly I could have done better- even our new contractor couldn't believe it wasn't a "DIY job". The tiles are cut poorly, the caulk is applied annoyingly, the middle tiles should have had a rail to divide them from the side tiles, the middle is clearly crooked and instead of following the lines of the cabinet, the side tiles cut into the middle tiles at different lengths on each side. I'll include photos, because a picture is worth a 1000 words, right? Do yourself a favor and find a different company. read more

If I can give this company 10 stars, I would. They are absolutely amazing!! We chose our tile from Arizona Tile (AT) and they (AT) provided us with a list of 3rd party vendors/contractors. After interviewing 5 vendors, we interviewed Nova Interiors (Alex). I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, his background, and honesty. Very humble and hard working individual. After that meeting, I knew that I found the right contractor. After a few weeks of price negotiation(s) and coordination of our order from Arizona Tile, the work was scheduled. Jseph (I believe it is Alex brother) help supervised the work. They brought in their "A" Team lead by Juan. Juan's team included a young hard working associate named Nick. Both did an absolutely fantastic job. They were always on-time... very careful, diligent, detailed, and hard working. What a fabulous team! When they completed the tiling in our home (about 2 weeks), it looked absolutely amazing! We asked them to keep the gaps at 1/8 of a inch, they did it! We asked them to ensure that the tiles are level (no sharp corners or edges), they did it! What a wonderful job! In summary, the support/sales team were wonderful and the workmanship is beyond excellent. This work was completed in Nov 2020 and it is now April 2021. I am still amazed at the quality and workmanship! We definitely recommend Nova Interiors. In fact, our next major project is to replace our 2nd floor carpeting. They are very professional and competitive on pricing. On day of install they arrive on time and put in a full day everyday! The job was for the every room in the house. The installers planned out with us which direction to lay the flooring to assure the lay out was consistent and beautiful. They were professional and respectful at all time. As they work on one room they also completed the floor molding at the same time to assure completion of that room. When they finished for the day they would do a complete clean up of the areas they worked and the outside as they were cutting the molding- just professional. I was looking for a professional, affordable, customer service oriented, and experienced residential construction business in Las Vegas that could convert my loft into a permitted bedroom addition, then re-floor my stairwell & hallway. I needed a remodeling company that would be flexible with my tight budget...as well as my busy work schedule. Alex is one of the co-owners and is the operating manager of this family-run company. Among the 5 contractors in my Top List to initially bid for this project, I was most impressed with Alex's detailed explanation regarding the scope of work and his friendly customer service approach to following up with me. Like all other contractors I have worked with in the past, he sometimes was so busy to the point you might wait for a response to a text or phone call. I am patient and so I eventually got used to it. I will say in fairness however that overall Alex did a great job getting back to me in a timely manner with an acceptable response to my many questions and requests. The subcontractors he sent to me for this project were very professional, dedicated to their crafts, and focused on the quality of their work. I was particularly impressed with the very coordinated team of drywallers/painters I had during one important phase of the build. Some of these workers came over as early as the morning, while other guys were willing to work as late into the evening...all to accomodate my busy schedule. For anyone new at managing their reno projects as homeowners, my lessons learned and advice is: Know what you want, plan well. Clearly outline/communicate to your contractor what is expected; understand what is being explained and what you are paying for.  Monitor the work, but be patient and respectful of the workers. Juan, the owner, came out to give an estimate about 6 weeks ago for a full kitchen remodel, sliding door expansion, replace 2 bath vanities, & all new tile floor. So not a "small" job. But I never heard back. No biggie, I followed up and called them (please, take my money!). As a hard surface designer and project manager working on both new custom construction and home remodels I run across quite a few contractors. I recently gave Nova a shot and there is no way I could happier. They exceeded mine and my clients expectations installing over 5000sq ft of large porcelain on a main floor and detailed work in showers and backsplashes. Like any large job there are obstacles and mishaps that test contractors, this job was no different. What matters is how they handled those. Yes these folks were great. I have a small barbecue island that I wanted to have granite installed on the top. I knew I didn't need a full slab and they showed a large amount of remnants of their web site so I went by and looked at what they had. I found one that I liked right away. They quoted me on the slab, fabrication and installation. They were here when they said they would be and did a great job installing. I met Alex and his brothers at a meeting and shared with him that My husband and I had just bought a new home and we wanted porcelain, wood look tiles in the main living areas, crown molding throughout the whole house and a brick wall and backsplash in the dining room and kitchen installed, as well as a quartz countertop in our laundry room.The estimate came in and it was only a bit higher than what our builder's design center wanted just for the flooring in the family room/kitchen and nothing else!! From the time I called to schedule an appointment with Juan to the final walk through of the job, the whole experience was 5 stars. I've never written a review but I just had to so that anyone looking for a contractor will give them a call. I did a full bath and kitchen remodel in a high rise building that has so many rules and regulations that I spoke to 7 different contractors who either turned the job down or gave me some ridiculously high quote. They have a showroom close by the strip and when I went to pick out the tiles and materials, Angelica was so helpful and made the process super easy. Juan and the project manager Jorge kept me updated on the progress twice a week and I am so beyond happy with the end result! They were so detailed down to the wiring of my cable hook up since they reinstalled my tv in the bathroom. Juan even ran out to Walmart to get me a better cable cord because he wasn't happy with the connection. All I can say is I wish there were more stars to give them because 5 isn't near enough. I want to rave about the job Nova interiors did for us, I mean we love these guys. A little about the job: We recently bought a home built in 1974 where the garage had been converted into a 20x20 room with an odd add on storage room. The kitchen was all original & in a nut shell needed updating like, "yesterday." I called the owner, Juan & right away from just he phone call I could tell this was a professional guy who takes pride in his business. We made an appointment & Juan showed up on time & ready to not only listen but, had quite a few new ideas that were all used in the job. The job entailed opening up the storage room by opening up the wall, full glass mosaic back splash in the kitchen & quite a bit of tile work including turning an old dead looking fire place (old raggedy poorly installed red brick as the hearth) into a beautiful center piece that one could be proud of. There was an additional problem with the add on storage room having a tall ridge dividing the two rooms with different levels of the floor stepping from the converted garage into the storage room that would have to be addressed as we were turning the storage room into a dining room. My wife & I picked out the tile from a company Juan recommended & we found the perfect color/type of porcelain tile. The job went beautifully & the crew did a masterful job, darn near flawless as far as I can tell. Much better than I ever thought it could look and the fireplace looks like it belongs in a high end home & I'm still raving about how that ridge turned out as it's darn near gone & looks very natural as if it was designed that way. Everything was performed very reasonably, too. So in summary if you are looking for a company that will exceed your expectations, (again at a reasonable price & I did forget to mention that I had two other bids on opening up that wall & they were thousands over what Juan did it for) I told Juan that I would be happy to be used as a reference & that he's welcome to show all the photos showing the work that I described above. I found Nova Interiors by chance through Facebook marketplace and I'm so glad I did. They completed tile flooring, carpet, baseboards and painting in my recently purchased condo. There were a few issues along the way, mostly because of the condition of the condo: older, not well kept, etc. but Juan and his crews took care of any issues promptly and professionally. Nova Interiors just completed a project I hired them to do. They installed wood laminate and tile flooring in several rooms, painted four rooms, painted all baseboards in our 3000 sf home, and repaired and painted many cracks in the substantially sized and intricate crown moldings throughout the house. Each of their employees were excellent at their particular specialty, and the work was completed four days earlier than expected. Of all the bids received, Nova's was among the most reasonable. I dealt with Alex throughout the contracting process. He was patient and attentive to every detail, no matter how small. Also, because there's is a family business, Alex and his brothers, Omar and Juan, supervise all of their job sites, so one of them came in often to check the work and progress, and answer my multitude of questions.
