Had disagreement with owner about using Toyota Parts only for front end and brake repairs when I told him up front that is what I wanted. Went to Freeman Toyota and they thought front end could easily last 50K miles more and they did brakes cheaper than LxToy quoted with all same Toyota parts and even with $250 hr labor including 4 discs. I appreciate Freemans honesty when LxToy was dishonest about front end. Front had been rebuilt 10 years previous and only had 10k miles on repair. Rubber on front end was deteriating due to age but not bad yet. read more

I have been coming here for over 8 years. My first vehicle that I brought to his shop was my 2002 Toyota 4-runner that I owned for 14 years and unfortunately it was totaled in 2015. Since then, I purchased a Toyota Camry and after three years of owning the vehicle, I got rid of the vehicle. Transmission was close to needing repairs. I also owned a Honda Accord up until February 2023. I have always brought my cars to Jose after my purchase to have Jose and his crew inspect them. One of the vehicles was a Lexus and it had a ton of issues. The dealership swore that they performed a 30 point inspection. Needless to say, I returned the vehicle the next day. My most recent purchase was a Toyota Camry and unfortunately, this vehicle also had issues so I returned it the next day. I purchased a Toyota Avalon about four months ago that has under 40k miles and it has no issues and I love my car. My husband has a Honda accord and he also takes his car here for all of his services and repairs. Most dealerships swear by their 30 point inspections and expect you to take them at their word. So thankful for Jose, his 28 plus years of experience, and knowledge of this shop. The level of professionalism of him and his wife have been 2nd to none. I have been struggling to find a descent shop for almost a year now without any luck. Most shops are not experienced enough with the older Lexus models. I was referred by one of my neighbors, who has a similar car, and I am so happy. Most shops were guessing the diagnostics and problems of what the car had. They experimented on my car and it costs me a lot of money for them to finally figure it out. Not with LxToy. The diagnostic is right the first time, the repair is correct the first time, and the prices are very reasonable. Without a doubt, this is the place to get your Toyota/Lexus serviced at. They were very courteous, helpful, and straightforward with everything that was being done. Job was completed at the time they said it was going to be done. I had the rear differential fluid changed out the first time. They quoted me at a pretty reasonable price, at least way more affordable than the dealer. At pickup, I also wanted to get the transmission fluid changed in my GS350 and knowing it was a "sealed" transmission and it wouldn't be cheap. They quoted me and WOW I was impressed at the quote I received. Went ahead and got that done (on another day due to the amount of time it took to replace the fluid). During the fluid change, they noticed I needed a new belt and with my approval, they changed that too. I will definitely be coming back here with more service needs. These guys will take care of you from when you walk through the door to when you leave with your car. Highly recommend! read more

Ehh... I had high hopes for this place. I was having noise issues when starting the AC. I also needed an oil change and they had a good price of 25$ for an oil change and free diagnosis. I needed a ride back to my apartment because I had to leave the car overnight since the noise was only happening upon start up. They were nice and gave me a ride back twice when I thought I left my keys in the shop. The next morning I get a call saying my AC compressor and parts needed replacement and that it was going to be 800$. I told them no, I can't afford that and to just do the oil change. My AC worked still and I did my research you only need to replace the compressor if your AC doesn't work at all. I just recently took it to Lonestore Automotive after getting advice from my old mechanic back home saying its more than likely the belt thats making the noise and to take it to another shop for that. Lonestar automotive called saying yes its just the belt and itll be 98$ to repair. Needless to say I won't be back here. Giving it 2 stars since they had a good price for oil change and the fact that they gave a ride. read more

Ok I was having issues with my Toyota Rav4 & requested several quotes from different places, this place replied within minutes at 6 in the morning. I made an appt that morning to have the truck serviced. Super friendly staff. Ms. Melly and her husband Joe were so helpful. They explained everything that was needed. They also found a couple of other issues that needed fixing. I agreed and I didn't feel pressured. I had to rent a car while they worked on the truck, as I was going out of town and their son was nice enough to drive me to the rental place. When I got the truck back, everything was running great. I've only been to this place once, but I will bring my car here again. I had some warning lights go off on my dash. They had the opportunity to charge me lots of money and replace the throttle body. Instead they just cleaned it and the warning lights went away. I also asked about replacing my spark plugs and wires, but they said it was just fine after inspection. Again they had the opportunity to make more money in unneeded repairs. The technician answered all my questions and the receptionist behind the desk was friendly. The mechanics seem honest; I didn't get the negative vibes that I've gotten at other repair shops. I live in a little bit far away, but finding a good honest repair shop is hard to find. Very competent auto service shop. The name implies that Toyota and Lexus are their specialty but I was told they do any make/model. I was looking for a place to do the 90k service on my Tundra and it seemed like I only had 2-3 choices in Fort Worth for genuine Toyota-Care. When I found this place I was so happy I wanted to put them on the Yelp map. If you normally bring your Toyota to Freeman you might want to give this place a try instead.
