I believe I have finally found that perfect barbershop for my boys. All their barbers are talented and up to date with styles. Theres always a barber available and I feel I don't need to depend on one barber anymore. My boys came home looking sharppp! Trust me they know what they are doing.. I started on time but the people I booked with, Michelle for relaxer and Phillip for haircut, were already busy and not there, respectively. I Haven't been to a barber shop in 15 years. I grew up in a family of professional barbers there for I didn't need to pay for a haircut. Nervous , I sat in Mikey's Chair For a fade. Mikey took his time and exceeded my expectations. He gave me a phenomenal haircut and the electronic payment process makes thing easy and efficient! They have a a roster of several talent barbers. This place is perfect! We called to make an appt for the whole family but then ended up getting there early so different barbers cut our hair, which I appreciate because often the person who takes the appointment expects to get all the customers, which sometimes means waiting around forever. I like that they're so down to earth and flexible. Also, once you make an appointment you get a text confirmation and even reminders, which is super convenient. They also accept credit cards. so i decided to try out this place after discovering one of the barbers instagram accounts... sat in the chair, told the guy exactly what i wanted. told him not to shave my moustache 3x. i ended up walking out looking like hitler. i also have razor burn which really sucks. the guy (Marvin) is a great barber i'm sure, communication is lacking though. ps. I have to say that LyfeStylz is my new favorite salon. I went to have my locs retwisted and styled and I received way more than I expected. I had an 11 o'clock appointment with Michelle and I arrived at 10:30 as soon as I went downstairs she was ready. I love the fact that she washed my hair which is included in the service. I've gone to other salons and was charged as much as $15 dollars for a wash. Michelle is friendly and very professional. She was gentle with my hair and took great care of my hair. I usually leave from shops with a headache because of how tight they twist my hair Michelle did a great job and I didn't leave in pain. I love the fact that I also can get my tape-up in the same salon. Usually I have to go to a separate barber for my cut. Having everything under one roof was definitely a plus. Michelle is a wonderful stylist. Very professional. Very nice. Sticks by her appointment times. Styles and cut hair excellent. Been going there since August and finally found a high quality stylist with fair prices. She don't nickel and dime you. The atmosphere is not loud and chaotic and you can actually relax while getting your hair done without loud music, people trying to sell you stuff, beauticians not stopping to gossip. You may pay a little more here but the benefit of a professionally operated salon that's clean, and that appointment app is well worth it. I came here by way of my sister, whose decide to. It her hair short. She see's Kevin. One of my boys see Michelle for Loc's and the other is here for his first appointment with Mikey. It definitely beats having to sit around waiting for your turn.
