The technician Melvin came out looked at my water heater and spoke with the warranty for my water heater stated the gas burner, thermocouple needed to be replaced. He advised me to replace the parts when they arrive would be $610. I paid him $310 beware of the $85 ploy for diagnosis its not true when you request a refund because I wasn't going to let him put the parts on was advised to contact the agency and speak with a manager. I called a few times spoke to someone name Bruno who advised me that he would have a manager call me back no one ever did. I called today 10/25/25 spoke with someone name Mya who stated she was the manager and I wasn't getting a refund because he diagnosis the problem and was very rude and disrespectful in her demeanor and tone. TOTAL rip off. I had a leak. I paid a bill for over 2-1/2 hours of labor $328.04, in order for him to put in a gasket. It was still leaking. They came back and said that it was my fault as the caulking in my bathtub was causing the leak. After re-caulking it, it still leaked. I called them back. The water was leaking into the floor below, which is my kitchen. They came back "fixed" it with duct tape and punched a huge hole in my kitchen ceiling. I still have a leak. I was told that as special bargain, they would be willing fix it for ONLY $1,000.00. So basically, I paid over $320.00 in order to get some duct tape put on my spout and for a free hole in my kitchen ceiling. I'm considering small claims court. read more

Just had them install the gas line for a home generator. I can't recommend them more strongly. From the start, the owner came out right away to look at the job and give me an estimate (the other plumbers I contacted took about two weeks to come out and give an estimate) I decided to file the permits myself and they helped me all along the way...many questions that they were more than willing to help me with. I needed a mason to build the platform, an electrician and the plumber. When I was ready to do the install, they were the ones who came right away to do their work and they did a great job. Very rude. I called after hours as their website said call anytime, a guy picked up and the convo went like this, Guy - "Hello?" Me - "is this Plumbing?" Guy - "yeah who's this?" Me - "um, this is Evan, I need a plumber." Guy - "what, who is this?" Me - "I'm a potential customer looking for a plumber, can you help me or not" Guy - "yeah sure text me your info and I'll have someone there tomorrow" Instead of writing down my info like a normal business would do, he asked me to text him. He didn't bother to tell me that the number was a land line, and he did not give me his cell number. When I called back the following morning, he yelled at me and insisted he did give me his cell phone, which he obviously did not. I had Lynbrook plumbing and heating at my residence about 3 weeks ago they had one of their technicians / mechanic Miguel to do a gas pressure test on my unit now I am a licensed plumber 3 times I need to go downstairs to show him how to tighten gas nipples onto Union now on Tuesday of last week National Grid had to come back because there was still a gas smell after Miguel passed the gas test National Grid told me that it was still leaking gas everywhere so I would never recommend to go to Lynbrook plumbing and heating for anything anything ever read more
