My gas furnace was working intermittently. Robert came to diagnose the problem. He was unable to determine the cause, but explained that I needed a new inducer motor. He quoted a price of $1700 to replace it and also suggested that I may want to replace the entire furnace instead, for $9000+. In fact, another HVAC company came and found that there was water in the inducer motor. He blew out the pipes leading to it and emptied the water out of the inducer motor. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I am a small business owner who works with oils and Shea Butters, so having good air conditioning to keep them from melting is super important. Last year we went by the reviews we had read, which seemed good, and hired A All to fix our commercial AC. Tyler told me that the internal blower motor had broken and it cost $1800 to fix. It was a 98-degree week so I said yes, and had it fixed. The reason I bring this up now is that I think I was ripped off last year. This is why I believe this to be true: Our AC relay was tripped because the fire marshall was here at our building, which is commercial and residential, and had to shut things off before his tests. I called A All and they said it could only be fixed manually so they came, spent 5 minutes, and charged me $398. That was 2 weeks ago. Bad enough. The next day the AC went off again, and when A All came back, they said that the relay switch was burning out, and although they bypassed it we needed a new one and they would order it. Then this past Saturday the AC would not kick on for 2 hours and we had a call in. It went back on so we cancelled the call. Then Monday AM, there was no air conditioning. I put a call in and 4 hours later no one had shown up yet. I called back and I was told that one of the vans had broken and the other guy had an emergency so the tech was going to come on Tues morning. Seriously, we felt like we were shoved to the side. Robert shows up on Tues. morning and tells us that the AC compressor is shot and we need a new one. We didn't even ask if we still needed a new switch. We told them to get us an estimate. We had not heard a word by Wednesday afternoon which I found strange. The air filters had been removed and the strapping on the installation had been removed so that the piece would be sucked up against the unit and most likely burn the entire thing out. We were livid needless to say. He then told us that it is unfortunately a common thing, especially when it involves a commercial unit where the tenant (me) most likely is not going up on the roof to inspect. He fixed what had been broken and charged me $369.33! Before I let A All know what I had been told, let alone that it had been fixed, I called to get the estimated price for the new unit. I had to wait an hour and that I would get a callback with the price. No call. So I called back and waited to speak with Tyler. Neither he nor Robert would get on the phone after the assistant told me the price. She said it was going to be $4800 for a new compressor, labor, and installation. So knowing that the compressor is perfectly fine as per 2 other HVAC companies, I now believe they were going to take my money and not even replace the "broken" one. They would have just restrapped, refiltered, and rewired like the other guy and pretended they did a whole new one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF!! read more

I used this company to do all my plumbing ,AC and heating when I renovated a house 4 years ago. To date I have had to redo all the duct work for the AC which cost $5000 and now I have had to pay over $6000 to redo my heating system. I am without heat for the last 6 days. This is not the company that you want to use. They are terrible. Don't know what they are doing but know how to take your money I had to throw them off the job because they were not reliable. I had my home central a/c installed in June 2020 by A All Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and was totally satisfied. Today, July 3rd,2022, my system had a "glitch" and not only did Robert, the owner, come himself to check the system within the hour, he also called about about 5 hours later to check and be sure all was ok. Who does that anymore? Certainly no one I know of. In this crazy society we live in where customer service is a forgotten thing, Robert far surpasses. He is reliable, conscientious and funny too. From my first phone call of desperation, after loosing all air conditioning in my home, Rob was Kind, Compassionate and scheduled me in for the first appointment the very next day, after being told by other companies I would have to wait a week. I would give 0 star if I could. I got a Freon leak somewhere which I had no clue. They told me I have to refill Freon for them to find out where is the leak. That part makes sense. They asked $750 to refill the single unit. WTH! And they say they will find the leak next time! And next time, they will charge me again to refill the Freon. I've held off on writing this but now I am compelled. My experience began with Robert in June when he filled my AC unit with Freon. By mid August the unit was frozen and I knew something was wrong. Robert returned and said we needed a new unit and the cost was about $8,000. The unit was installed and worked well for a day. After multiple correspondence Robert sent his son Vin to look on August 16th and I was told it should be working fine and they would be back the next day to check the Freon levels. Within no time the house heated up to 80 degrees and the unit was not working. When I notified Robert he was rude and told me Vin should have told me that the unit was frozen on the inside. I explained that he never mentioned that and his reply was that he's sorry for his son's "limitations" and he's only 19 years old. (Why would you send someone with "limitations" that does not know how to troubleshoot?) Robert told me that his guys would be there the next day by 8am. At 8:45 I called and Robert told me there was alot of ppl on the breakfast line and they were running late. (really!) At 10:30 they were still not there so I text him. He told me they hit traffic and they would be there by 12. Five days and 8K later, I still did not have a working AC unit! When they finally showed up they said they unit was not properly tilted when installed and there was a pool of water in the drain pan. They fixed the brand new unit they installed. The next day Robert asked if they could come by and check the unit. I explained that I would not be staying home one more day so they can waste yet another of my days. He came by mid day and looked at the unit outside to see that it was running. After coming by he text me to say that they unit was working and wanted to know if we were "bff's again!" WHAT PROFESSIONAL SAYS THAT?? I did not respond. That was 8/18/21. On 8/23 I text him and asked for a receipt for the work. He told me he would send but I never got anything. On Sept. 15th I text again asking for a receipt but got nothing. On October 6th I text again and told him it was my 3rd request but have still got nothing. I would still like a receipt for the work completed but would never use A-All Plumbing again, nor would I ever recommend them. Robert was obnoxious and unprofessional and was unreliable. read more

We had reached out to a different company and they had told us that the part was on back order for 4-6 weeks. Having 3 small children, and experiencing the hottest days of the summer, we clearly could not wait 4-6 weeks to get our AC working. I called Rob and he came the same day to take a look at the issue, and was able to get a new motor the same day! He was super nice, compassionate and got the job done. My poor father called me to tell me his HVAC system was not working since last night!! No one can bear sweating in the 100 degree weather with an underlying heart condition and the 4th of July weekend approaching. I felt terrible because he told me he had contacted Sears who has a warranty with and they told him they can see him in 5 days!!! What?!?! My friend Jenn referred me to Rob. I contact him immediately and within less than 45 min came and fixed my father's issue!!! Apparently it was a small part that keeps the condenser working. WTF Sears?! Never again! Great experience with A-All Air Conditioning. Honest hard working guys who did a great job at a great price.

I've used these guys 1 1/2 times. Yes, 1/2. They are way over-priced. The first time they came in to snake my sink. They did the first snake, and this is partially my fault ( I wasn't thinking), they didn't quote me. After the first snake, they said, 'Oh, I should have told you how much it would cost to do this work. It's $275 to snake, each time, and we have to do it again.". I had no choice. This last time, the 1/2 time (the guy came without any equipment) they wanted to drill a 2' x 5' into my solid concrete kitchen floor to 'find' a broken pipe. They didn't know if the pipe was broken, they didn't know where the pipe was, they wanted to just go through my floor. They wouldn't patch the floor after, just leave a hole. Total cost would have run about $5000. I live in a Co-Op. So I called management. They came, the pipes don't run under the floor, they run in the walls. If A-All had checked where the leak was (by the front door) they would have found the leak behind the refrigerator wall, not the floor. Long story short, pipe fixed for free by management. No holes in floor. Call Citywide. Don't let plumbers scare you. Oh, and don't use Drano or Liquid Plumber. read more

Had a very good experience this morning with A All Plumbing Heating. We had NO HEAT for 2 days! After calling numerous companies yesterday and getting either high service call quotes or having no one available, I spoke with the owner Rob and he was willing to send someone right out.
