We are so happy to have found Lynch Furniture. Selection is wonderful, many custom options, sales people are knowledgeable, helpful with many good ideas. Delivery was in time frame promised, furniture was held if we weren't in town. Delivery was perfect, calling just before. Delivery men were courteous, respectful of home, other furniture, first checking best option to bring in, setting up, putting together, placing perfectly, very patient. We have ordered many pieces, even sofa off floor when we had nothing to sit on! Old time customer service that has gone by the wayside in most places! We wouldn't shop anywhere else. read more

I first was exposed to Lynch's Furniture about 25 years ago when my mother bought a chair there. The services was great and the chair is still in great shape. I then bought a love seat about a year ago, and I can't say enough about it. Clearly the furniture Lynch's sells is the kind you can keep forever, if you wish. I've purchased from other chains and the pieces usually need to be disposed of in a few years. Not the case with Lynch's. Courteous, service oriented, helpful. And a huge selection of furniture that other stores don't carry. I have no reason to go anywhere else ever again and I regret that I have. They are my go-to furniture store! read more

Do not buy furniture from here! I called the day after the furniture was delivered and was told by Matt Lynch to email him since they were short-staffed. I emailed him my concerns and had to send 4 more emails before getting a return call almost 3 weeks later. The chair has a spot in the leather, and the chair and sofa are so hard that they are uncomfortable to sit in. Despite the fact that the items are brand new and still have tags on them, I was told that they can't do anything to help me and that I can donate the furniture if I don't like it (it cost o$5,200). They advertise customer service, but it does not exist. We are redoing our home and have many more pieces of furniture to buy. Customer service would have gone a long way with us in considering them for future purchases. However, we will not support a business that doesn't stand behind their products or value their customers. read more

My wife and I looked in virtually every furniture store in the Rochester area and could not find a table that we wanted for our kitchen. My sister and her husband went to Canandaigua and by chance noticed Lynch furniture and told us about the store. When we got there it took my wife about 5 minutes to pick out the kitchen table and chairs that we wanted. You can custom-order any size and color that you need. I ordered a Best brand recliner June 7 2021,I waited for the Recliner for 5 months rec,d it Nov.12 2021. After one month I noticed the chair was lobsided! I,m a senior citizen and not a heavy person. Sent pictures to Matt lynch to show him he finally sent Repair man out on Feb.1 he ordered a new seat cushion And replaced it. I know COVID was difficult. It took over five months from my order to get a custom upholstered chair and love seat. Today was delivery day and I am so far down on the list they are over an hour past the time given. 11:30 --2:30. It's 3:25 and still no delivery. I won't be using this store ever again.- After all this the furniture arrived at 4:15. Hole in fabrics in the side of a cushion with a wavy from. Was obviously a first attempt by a new Sew machine user. Was told by Lynch's they call me in am. Quarter to noon. No call. I called and was told I would be called by end of day. That didn't happen. I ordered a sofa with no issues, I was told it was in stock at the warehouse in PA, so it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. I did put a deposit on this sofa. A few weeks later, circumstances changed. I called to cancel and was told they would need to check but probably wouldn't be able to. They immediately called me back, not even enough time for them to make a phone call to check on the location of the sofa... I was told it was already on it's way and I could not cancel. So a 4-6 week delivery time went down to 2 weeks?? I was told that it was not returnable, I hadn't even received it yet to return... I needed to cancel. I asked questions, he flustered on the phone and told me I had a horrible attitude.... I guess you get a horrible attitude from asking questions?? His phone etiquette was atrocious . I will NEVER purchase anything again from this establishment. Horrible customer service and they way he speaks to customers is embarrassing. read more

My parents bought all their furniture from Lynch's, and their couch and chair which they purchased about 50 years ago still is in great condition in our Florida room. My husband and I have purchased our living room furniture from them , and their friendliness and concern for the customer goes beyond 5 stars!.We would not even consider going any where else, especially when john Lynch greets you with him warm and friendly smile!. read more

My mother bought all her furniture from Lynch's about 5 years ago. She loves it. About 1 year ago her remote on her recliner broke. I called Mr. Lynch and he was the nicest person in the world. He took the time to find my mom's order and told us what we needed to send him and he would order her a new one. We took the pictures and sent them to him. In a week or two we had a new remote. I should have written this review last Summer (2018). We ordered a beautiful table with 8 chairs. It was delivered as promised, on time and was set up by two friendly delivery men. One chair was not finished properly so they took it back with them. We had the chair back within one week. We love our new set! We had a wonderful experience working with the owner and his sons. I am always fearful when purchasing large, costly items but this was one of the best experiences I have ever had! read more

Very rude, and indifferent about it! We wanted to support local during COVID. Bought a sectional from Lynch's in Canandaigua. I get the waiting situation. Everything is delayed. This is not about that. 6 months after we order they show-up with the wrong couch. It was backwards. We knew immediately. I know for sure my wife and I were both very clear, as we used the floor model with him as a reference. The delivery driver was nice, but when he called one of the Lynch brothers (on speaker) the man (Lynch) on the other end made several very rude comments, blaming us. The delivery driver was clearly embarrassed, and simply told us they would put a rush on the new pieces. We didn't really know what that meant, so my wife (who is VERY passive) called the next week to ask what the timing would be. The woman on the other end literally yelled at her...nasty. I know people have been rude about all of the delay. We're not those people. My wife was almost in tears when she told me what happened. I've been furious, and have avoided calling them, until now. 5 months later (today) I call, and reach a Lynch brother. I tried to explain to him why we chose Lynch's, and the experience we've had to this point. I didn't even get the chance, much less an apology. He cut me off with "so you just want to know where your couch is?" He could not have cared less. We had looked on line and at other furniture stores for what we wanted, none had it. I needed a recliner chair for my son who was being released from rehab. I wenr to Lynch furniture on a Wed. evening prior to his release on Fridat and purchased a chair. When I sat in the chair I made a mistake of keeping my winter coat on. The chair was delivered on Saturday (day after discharge from rehab) after the delivery guys left we ngot to sit in the chair and found it very uncomfortable. We tried it several more times with the same results. On Monday morning I contacted Lynch and spoke to the owner Mr Lynch. He said I had to make an appointment to pick out a different piece and it was going to cost $100.00 for him to pick it up. We returned to make a new selection with our son (recently discharged from the hospital) and my wife in her wheelchair. We picked out a chair costing $899 which was $200 more expensive and my wife picked out a new end table. Mister Lynch was so insistent about the $100 charge that when I tried to reason with him about having to deliner the new chair with a higher cost and the new end table he told me to "get out of his store and don't bother coming back" I read more

Had a great experience finding and purchasing a recliner recently. No pushy sales tactics. Plenty of time to browse and make a selection. Delivery of the recliner was exactly when promised and the delivery personnel were professional, friendly and courteous. All in all a great buying experience with a locally owned business.
