Besides pupusas we also had some corn atole which was just also very good. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned, and the pupusas were stuffed quite nicely - no skimping here. The service was also spot on and friendly. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall place so it does get busy and full pretty quickly so it's probably best to come early. read more

Finally found a Salvadoran restaurant close to my workplace. I came across this place on Yelp and I am so glad I chose to go to lunch and get pupusas. The wait was about 20 mins for 6 pupusas but it was worth it. The pupusas are pretty big and the price is justified. The taste is on point and they do not skimp out on the cheese. At most Salvadoran restaurants, the service is either rude or they are not very friendly but not here, the women are so sweet and make sure to greet their customers. Came here for Pupusas for dinner. They are made to order, fresh, big, and great price! I only need two to be full. Each are $2.50 and delicious. Varieties include revuelta, lorico, jalapeño and spinach. All come with cheese. There is another made of harina at $3 for one. For dessert I ordered a sweet bread and it's great for breakfast with coffee the next day. They serve breakfast here as well. Highly recommend this place for your pupusa craving! read more

So my mom just moved to Pomona, we ran in to this restaurant out of chance. We are Salvadorian so why not! The ladies working were super rude to my mom, she asked her if it was Salvadorian Horchata because to my mom it tasted different the lady told my mom if you don't want and don't like it, don't drink and just walked away from my mom. So rude. She didn't offer a refund or an alternative. The same lady that took our order didn't even bother to wash her hands when she took my debit card. My card literally had cabbage on top. Not much to say other than the pupusas are legit. The curtido has a weird taste for me (I think they have an ingredient that I'm not really used to), but that's not enough for me to stop coming. We get the cheese and the revueltas and they never disappoint. Large pupusas with decent filling to masa proportions. That's what I like. I've never eaten indoors. I always order for pick-up. If you want to order for pick-up, keep in mind orders take around 25-30 minutes. Pupusas are always fresh. I've also ordered their shrimp pupusa which was good and PACKED. A little too filling for me, so I'll just stick with the cheese, but if you like shrimp - I recommend that as well. Definitely a great option for me to pick up after work. I had a craving for pupusas so I thought I would try out Lynda's. I ordered one Revuelto and one of cheese as well as the fried yuca con chiccharon. The food smelled so good on my drive home I was so anxious to try the food. The pupusas were a good size an I ate one and saved the other for the next day. The cortido and salsa were good and the yuca and chiccharon were cooked to perfection. I can't wait to go back. The service was very pleasant and the place was immaculately clean. I was looking for a place to have Salvadorean breakfast, and selected Lynda's from a short list of possibilities not too far from our home in Upland. My husband and I were both very pleased with our choice. The small restaurant has half a dozen tables, and the employees were pleasant and helpful. I had huevos cooked with loroco, a green vegetable that reminded me a little of tiny asparagus tips. My husband had huevos con chorizo. Both meals came with black beans, plantains, crema and a chunk of white cheese, and very delicious thick hand-made tortillas. My husband and I have a long-standing tradition of going out for breakfast on Sundays, and before we moved from Pasadena to New Orleans over 20 years ago, we often chose Mexican restaurants. In New Orleans we missed our Mexican breakfasts, but what we found there instead was Salvadorean food. Now that we are back in California, we can find Mexican food on any corner, but we miss the Salvadorean breakfast. We know now that we can return to Lynda's and find what we've been missing. We also plan to return at lunchtime to try the numerous versions of pupusas, tamales and other options. read more
