I would give six stars, if possible! A frequent visitor to Hayward while staying with nearby family,. We looked for a new candy place because one we'd shopped before made us uncomfortable for both our own health and that of their young employees with their lack of precautions during a June visit. Lynn Marie's had obvious and safe measures firmly in place and they have FAR SUPERIOR candy! The staff is warm and welcoming to all, efficient but did not rush our purchase, had an amazing array of chocolate choices including fudge (which was really yummy). I was at Miller's Cheese Shop in Rice Lake that offered this candy at the counter. I bought the dark chocolate salted caramel and the toffee. Oh my, this chocolate candy is delish! My absolute favorite candy is chocolate covered toffee, but toffee is tricky. If it's not made properly it can be sticky, chewy, etc. Lynne Marie's Candies made it perfectly...it was the best I've had! And the wonderful chocolate on both pieces! Wow! In all the years I've been coming here I had never tried Lynne Marie's...boy was I missing out! Lynne Marie's candies are off the chart delicious! Her Toad is a caramel pecan center on a stick dipped in the most delicious milk chocolate you can imagine, so creamy and the caramel is soft and delicious. We received a couple of Lynne Marie's chocolates when we checked into our B&B (the McCormick House, great place). After that sample, we had to find the store! It's not on Main Street, and well worth the effort. I'm not a huge fudge fan, but their truffles, caramels, and dark chocolate dipped toasted almonds were fabulous! I went to Hayward for the first time last summer. As we were downtown, I went to Tremblays and the fudge was not amazing. Disappointed, I heard that there was a second candy shop in Hayward and it was Lynn Marie's Candies. The fudge was so much better tasting and the service was quick. I often stop for fudge while vacationing, so I recently tried the two fudge places in Hayward, WI. Tremblay's in downtown Hayward had received very good reviews, so I went there first. I found the fudge to be very ordinary or worse (although I did not try the sugar-free fudge). After searching online, I learned about Lynne Marie's Candies (it's about a half mile from downtown, at the intersection of Hwy. 27 S and County Road B). The fudge is as good as I've had while vacationing! I especially enjoyed the chocolate caramel pecan and maple walnut flavors. read more

Craziest thing...went to check it out. Didn't find any really exciting finds in the bulk offerings. Sat and contemplated a few truffles... But couldn't decide on a flavor since I was hungering for milk chocolate. Decided to try the fudge...though I really have never liked fudge. Oh man, my whole opinion changed. Loved it. Try this first .... skip Tremblay's (or at least try it but go to Lynne Marie's first!) WOW .... SERVICE at it's BEST! I live in a city full of upscale bakeries and pastry shops so we often do not have the chance to visit and "candy shop." We always find them while on the rode and this time it was all out of luck for that find. I know chocolate, I make a fudge that I is a killer. I am a foodie! First, how can you go wrong with a German owned chocolate shop??!! Prices are outstanding! Costumer service, BEST ever! TASTE ..... AMAZING. The XL peanut butter cups top notch. We sampled a number of the fudge, clever flavors and great flavor that melts in your mouth! The chocolate toffees with an almond on top ... omg. All their chocolate mints, scrumptious! That's it!
