I've been here once to take off nails from another salon but this time got nails from them. They were pretty nice, the only thing I could complain about is they work really fast and it's a bit painful and they cut you off when you're going to talk. All in all 8/10 very nice. So I have gone to Lynn's many times and am usually pretty satisfied...however, communication sucks! They will "make an appt" when you call but you never really get it....they will keep bringing people in the door and you just sit and wait...appt or not. Also some techs are WAY better than others. No real options either...I hate hot stones but every option has them. Time for somewhere new. read more

No complaints. The pedicures were on "sale", which is a little weird but I will go with it. I was in a weeknight and it was pretty empty. The set up is pretty modern. Standard pedicure chairs and a whole middle island for manicures (see photos). I had a good pedicure and it was close to home. I'll be back! read more

I am not sure why others have trashed this salon. I really like my experiences here and am willing to drive from midtown out here to get my pedicure fix. I've never had a manicure at this location so I cannot speak about them, but I've never had a problem with my pedicures. I like the cleanliness of the salon. All pedicure chairs are comfortable and equipped with massage and each tub uses a disposable liner. Tools are sterilzed and stored in sealed containers before use. I usually opt for one of the premium pedicures which include leg and food massage, exfoliation. All of their techs are excellent and my feet are very happy after each treatment. As you can see from salon photos, there are oodles of polish options and my only problem with the quality of my polish is that occasionally I'll put my shoes on too soon and gash my big toe. However, it's easy enough to smooth out the gash if I notice in time. I have tiny little toe nails and each time I get polish, the tech takes some extra time to make sure that there isn't polish on the skin around my toes. The staff is friendly although almost exclusively Vietnamese so conversation can be limited. Even so, they are friendly women. There are lots televisions in the center island and each has closed captioning. Some of the view is blocked by the manicure ventillation hoods but I am NOT complaining because this is one of the few salons I've seen equipped with vent hoods. I tend to get my pedicures on odd week days so I have rarely waited to receive service, but my first trip was late on a Sunday evening. The salon was busy and I ended up waiting about an hour to get my pedicure, but since I was a walk in I certainly didn't complain. The staff kindly set me up to soak my (cold) feet in nice warm water and I was perfectly comfortable reading while I waited. My suggestion is that if you find you might want a pedicure on a weekend day, try to call ahead so that you aren't stuck waiting too long. I find that I get a very good value each time I visit. I like the environment and the cleanliness of the salon and these are good reasons for me to make the trek out there. read more

Worst PEDI of my life !! There were 3 of us ! First off it was cold water , second we got callus remover and two swipes they said your good ( uh hello I work two jobs constantly on my feet , I know they are not good ) lady took half of old polish off and started cutting nails , noticing they were uneven I patiently waited ! Lady barely cut cuticals, after did scrub, rinsed legs in ice cold water , said oh it's cold that said nothing , did not rinse all scrub off and started with lotion . Rubbing lotion into the scrub :( . After all of that she grabbed polish , I said my note nails are not even . Lady told they fine and continued to paint . Felt like a cadle call push people all over . Pedi is supposed to be relaxing , we don't put 30,40,50 dollars for a crappy job ! Very very disappointed! read more

I hate to write this as I've gone to Lynn's many times for manicures, shellac and pedicures. My husband gave me some me time to go get my nails done. I made an appointment to get the dip polish. When I arrived it was like no one knew I had an appointment. They sat me down and I sat there for about 5 minutes before someone asked me if I had shellac on my nails. I had no polish on my nails. My nail technician came over set the colors in front of me and never spoke to me the whole time except to ask for me to wash my hands. She didn't trim my cuticles or dead skin around my nails, she didn't shape my nails, there are a couple of nails where she bumped the nail when she was dipping it and smudged it and didn't correct it so you can see the smudge on my nails. Typically they put lotion on your hands before you leave and massage your hands didn't get that either. She gave me the ticket with the total and didn't even say anything then. Just very disappointed. After I paid for this service I walked over to Sally's and got a file sat in my car and shaped my nails and separated my skin from the dip polish that was stuck. Got into town to get a pedicure and wanted to give this place a try. The lady that did mine didn't introduce herself and she seemed to not want to work. She didn't ask me if I wanted anything to drink, but the other coworker did and I politely declined. My toenails were slanted, my polish wasn't clean and the massage hurt. The only good part was the exfoliation. As I was drying, she looked into my purse and saw my cash and said it was 5% off if I were to pay in cash. Now, I'm hearing it's 10% off. I'm a licensed nail technician from another state and found them on yelp with great expectations of this place because of the reviews. Even though she didn't do a great job, I still tipped her $10. Been going here for about 6 months now. Lynn is the best! She is very meticulous about the work that she does. I get the dip nails done every two weeks and they would last 3-4 weeks if need be. Thanh and Tina are the best with pedicures! Again, they pay great detail to making sure the polish is neat and that my cuticles are clipped to perfection. Lein is Awesome!!! I was going here for over 3 years and put up with other things because she is that good. I get dip manicares that last 3+weeks I only went back for another mani b/c my nails had gotten to grown out from the cuticle. She does a full mani for the price. Other salons have a base cost then nickle & dimed up to expensive mani (+ $10 to trim your cuticle). Thhe other tects don't compare to her quality or customer service. I left b/c of the owners. They bring their young daughter in & let her run around. They cannot keep the same receptionist more than a few months. Theyy give you a specific time appt but you or may not get it when you arrive. They don't write anything down I waited anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour b/c Lein was double booked. Lein apologizes but the owners do not. The tects talk very broken english & have coversations in their native time across multiple stations. The final straw was when I called to make an appointment & the owner sstopped to talk to someone in her native tongue but when she came back couldn't remember why I was calling. I felt disrespected by the owners & other tects but never by Lein. read more

I am in from Orange County California, visiting my son and his family. My Granddaughter and I decided to get our nails done, she needed a manicure and I just wanted a pedicure. This is her favorite salon. I was that impressed when I enter because the receptionist acted like we were disturbing her. I told her I just needed a basic pedicure. She said $20, she also said something else but I said just a pedicure. She tells me to pick out my polish. I stood for a few minutes and said she I sit back in the waiting room. No sit over there in that empty seat. That was it for about 10 minutes. Then a person she knew came in and she was a professional receptionist, setting up her chair, asking is she wanted something to drink, etc. Finally my woman shows up, sets up foot bath, turns on water - cold!!!!!! Put my foot in for about a minute and starts to work on my first foot. Cut nails very close (the way I like), I filed, buffed and to swipes with the scrubber on my heel and bottom of my foot. Stuck my foot back in water and did the exact same to my other foot. Once completed did the first coat, nail polish, last coat and then slipped on the feet flip flops. Gave me the bill and was shown off the chair. My toes weren't even dry. I posted picture to show how poorly this was done. My Granddaughter finger nails looked great but I told her next time I visit I will make sure I go to my shop first. We thought it would it would be fun to do this together. read more

The staff is very friendly & accommodating, they even offer you something to drink when you walk in! Went in because not even four days later after getting a full set of acrylic nails and shellac. The shellac polish was chipping off. I was told if I came in they would fix it. I had been there many of times before and never had this problem. So when I went in the man told me to sit down at a seat so I did I waited about five minutes and then a woman came to fix the chipped shellac polish on my nails. She asked me what color I had on already, I asked her for the selections and showed her what color I had she argued and said it was a different color. So instead of painting my nails the color I told her she painted them a different color and like I told her it was not the right color. After showing her the difference of the nails that had been painted and the other nails that were chipped and repainted by her she then began arguing again telling me that that was the same color but clearly you could tell it wasn't. The man came over and said a few things to her that I couldn't understand and then he said well do you want your nails all that color then the color she had put on the nails that were chipped. I then became frustrated and said sure I'll just have that color. She then proceeded to take the shellac off the other two nails on each hand and was very rude and aggressive she did a poor job and knew it but didn't care. I asked her name so I could write this review and let everyone know who not to go to. she replied why do you want to know my name? and I said what is your name? and she said uhh "Amy"I said uh huh I'm sure that's your name. She just smiled and started talking in a different language. I then left and called right away I told the man which I believe is the manager how unprofessional his employees are. And I think he needs to have a talk with them. He apologized and agreed she was being very rude to me and that he is very sorry. I then told him well I'm sorry that you're not getting my business anymore. If she would have been nice I would have at least tipped her but she was so rude aggressive and argumentative. Another salon that won't wait for shellac to dissolve for removal. A LIGHT buffing with a buff block should be used to remove the top coat before removal and is all the sanding that should be done on the top of nails - a file is used for sculpting the sides. The tech that did my nails didn't want to wait - even though the salon was empty Easter Sunday - and filed the top of my nails to remove the remainder of polish. I am not confrontational, and shouldn't have to be, as techs should do the services correctly without needing correction. Do an internet search for videos that show how shellac and gel polishes are done and run from a salon if they do not do them properly. Get up and go. I will get up and go if this happens again at another salon. It is wrong, dishonest, destroys the natural nail, and leaves the client in danger as chemicals can enter the body when that type of damage occurs. I can't decide whether I like this place. The mani is good, but dry (they don't soak your hands at all). The shellac lasts forever, but the color selection is poor (seemingly tons of colors, but a lot of the same and nothing trendy or fresh). The pedi is pretty solid. The offer a 5% discount for cash payments. Saving a buck or two works for me! But they graciously accept plastic too. I've had mostly good experiences in the past but this last visit may have been my last. First off the water was freezing cold, and when I told my technician she laughed and turned the water off, she didn't make it any warmer. Then she pushed back my cuticles and cut them without putting any softener on, so she ended up cutting my big toe and just said oops (what made it worse is that she kept putting polish remover and alcohol in the cut throughout the pedi). I specifically asked that my nails not be cut, but that they be filed instead because I don't like my nails too too short, she obliged and filed them at first, then quickly started cutting them with nail clippers, not once, not twice, but THREE times and now my nails are way too short and hurt -seriously you can't make this up. She and her friends were laughing and joking all along in their own language which I normally don't mind except that it occurred for the entire time I was there. The final straw was that when I went to pay I used my card because I rarely keep cash on me. I gave her a generous tip (on my card) and she goes aww next time cash would be better, I like cash tips better. I got a pedicure last night and decided to stray away from my usual place. I am very happy I did. I got the Hot Stone Pedi for $25. I informed the lady that my ingrown toenails would need some work on because I have been running alot. She went above and beyond what I am used to. I think she might be a perfectionist just by watching her and I appreciate that. She spent plenty of time pampering my feet and calves and did an amazing job.
