    Horrible acrylics
    Amanda B.

If I could give this place negative stars I really would. I've never written any review before but I have to warn vacationers to not waste their money here. As soon as I got in they started on my nails and everything was fine up until when they started to paint my acrylics I noticed the lady did not fill the nail all the way so I repeatedly had to show her where she was missing painting my nail. She left cotton ball residue on my nails and got mad when I asked her to fix it. Then when she was cleaning up the edges she got my nail and when I checked it, it was messed up. I asked her if she could fix it and she told me I am moving too much and it was my fault. Even though I saw her hit that spot. When I finally went to go dry my nails the fan blew ripples on my nail and at that point the owners did not even want to look or speak to me. I left the money on the counter and left. They did not even say goodbye or look at me. This place is absolutely trash and I'd say research other nail salons.

While on vacation, I needed to get a gel polish change and toe nail polish color change. I had a gel manicure and pedicure one week ago but my nail & toe polish was chipped so I decided to change the colors. I understand that this a I ma and pop shop, and I wish I had pleasant things to say about how I was treated. I knew it was going to be a bad when I called to inquire about the pricing. The owner answered 2 of my questions, when I asked a third- he hung up on me. I called back and asked if he had availability because I was desperate, that was the closest nail salon to the W. He told yes- come at 3:45pm . I got there at 3:55pm. He asked if I had an appointment- I said yes, 3:45. He was annoyed that I was late. I get it, but that shouldn't affect your skills as a nail tech. This was the worst paint job I've ever had in my life. I would only go here if you are desperate.

Lynn's is located right outside the Marriott BeachPlace Towers. I walked in with gel polish on my fingers and toes. I was the only client, they took me without an appointment. Unlike most salons they didn't soak my nails in a bowl of warm acetone or use the electric file to remove my polish. Instead they covered each nail and toe in cotton dipped in acetone and covered in tin foil. The soaking off took about 50 min. Fortunately, I was on vacation and had time to spare...because it took another full hour for my pedi/mani with gel. The employees were friendly and cordial. The salon was dirty, cluttered and messy. It felt unsanitary... I was charged $80 for the gel mani and pedi... and disappointed because as you can see in this picture...the manicurist missed and the polish ended up outside my nail which means that the polish will probably soon lift... I like to give everyone the benefit of doubt... so maybe I caught them at the end of a busy morning and they didn't have time to clean up?

I requested fire red this color is more tropical orange

Starting this review on the fact that this location DOES in fact take extra measurements to prevent covid compared to other nail salons. My two star review is not for this reason. (Business does seem to be a husband and wife salon) Yesterday myself and my boyfriend walked into Lynn nails requesting for two pedi. The husband quickly stated only one pedi (very rude but we were cool about it)... ofcourse my boyfriend told me to go ahead and get mines done. The tech then stated that my boyfriend could sit next to me but to please both wash our hands. While washing our hands the tech started to set up the water for the pedi and asked my boyfriend if his going to do a pedi also... my boyfriend and I both confused since he just told us only one pedi so my boyfriend responded no it's okay only her. The tech then requested for him to sit at the enternece... again confused since he stated he could sit next to me. I laughed (of confusion) and told the tech you just told us he could sit next to me again very rudely his like NO Without an explanation. At this point I'm just tired of how the tech is communicating to us that I just left it alone. While working on my feet the tech requested the color I picked to do gel pointed at the color and also gave the number (he grabbed the color atleast 10 minutes later). After he was done cutting down my nails and taking the dead skin off NO MASSAGE what so ever, NO LOTION what so ever he then prepared the Uv light and grabbed the color. He pulled a chair to place the uv now placing me who's pregnant at an uncomfortable position when other nail salons usually use the same space were our feet are resting. As he starts painting my toes I notice it's orange I requested fire red, very far from what I was expecting. If he had forgotten he could had just asked me but at this point I already have my debit card ready to leave not wanting to remove the color and starting over. May be silly but $45 for gel pedi with no massage, no lotion and having to deal with his attitude is BS to me. I've been to nicer salons for cheaper and also offered water or soda. Never again. If your staying in the area go to Westin resort nail salon instead.

I had a fantastic shellac mani and pedi this morning. Removed my existing and replaced in 1 1/2 hours, $80 which is competitive with Houston so I felt like it was a great price for the location!

I'm on vacation from NJ where I stopped getting my nails done because they somehow were never the way I like them! This nail shop was right below my hotel and so convenient to get to! I got a gel mani and pedi, my sister got a mani, and my boyfriend (yes.. even my boyfriend!!) Got a mani pedi. He LOVED it. He's had pedis before and said this tops them all. My nails came out perfectly, as well as my sisters. They are friendly, warm, appropriately priced, and a great shop to go to. I also got an eyebrow wax which was great. My last comment is that they were extreme sanitary! Gloves when necessary and they clean the pedicure tubs and nail tools thoroughly in front of you- before you start and afterwards as well. I've been to places before where I have left because of unsanitary environments. This was definitely very clean and sanitary. I recommend this place to everyone. If you are in town, try it!

Worst place ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am on vacation and went there for a gel manicure. The color was very pretty but when I walked out, my nails were very bubbly and they looked very bad. I was gonna ignore it but then a day later one chipped so i went back and instead of re doing all of the ones bubbled, he re did just the one chipped. As soon as I walked out, my other nail chipped and I asked him to either give me a refund or to fix all of them and he went on to tell me I was too complicated and that too picky about my nails

This is the guy who urinated in a bottle twice and dumped it down the sink with our sanitizing the sink or washing his hands!

This guy did my toes went to the bathroom or what I thought was a bathroom and came out with a container with yellow liquid in it I'm like that's weird . he pours it down the sink , put water in the container dumped it out and then went back to work . Didn't wash his hand or anything. Then an hour goes by he goes in the back come out with another container of PISS ! YES you read that right ! He's urinating in a bottle and walking through the salon with it to get to the sink !!!! I have never been so disgusted in my life !! I asked him to fix my nails because there was a couple of things I didn't like about them he says ok but I said can you wash your hands . he runs the water no soap and sits down . I said sir your pissing in a bottle and now you want to touch my hands !?! Are you fuckin kidding me ! He said what bottle so I went to go open the white cabinet under the sink and he says I can't come any further and he no longer wants to fix my nails and he's gonna have the only other lady there do it !!!! I am beyond fuckin furious!! Share the shit out of this .. Were in the middle of a fucking pandemic and this guy is pissing in a bottle and doing peoples nails!!! I swear I can't make this shit up !! Totally unprofessional and unsanitary! I feel so disgusted !! Not to mention my 11 year old had to see and hear everything !!!! This place is absolutely disgusting!!! The woman I can say was sweet so was the man til I confronted him !! Here's a thought dont urinate in a bottle and walk through your business with it !!!!

Scheduled a last-minute massage at the Heavenly Spa after having great experiences at their spas in…read moreother locations -- and let me tell you, the massage itself absolutely delivered. There was no availability online, so I called right when they opened at 10 AM and was able to snag an 11 AM appointment. Just something to note when booking: they held 70% of the service charge on my card and automatically added a 22% gratuity. I'm not sure if that's their standard policy or because it was a same-day appointment, but it's helpful to know upfront so there are no surprises. I parked using the Westin valet (it's $5 for 5 hours when you get your ticket validated at the spa desk). Just a heads up: you do have to walk down to street level, and the spa is actually the next building over to the right. It's super close, but if you're expecting it to be inside the main hotel, this will save you a "wait... where am I going?" moment It's next to the Starbucks and there's a secured guest-key access door to enter. If you don't have a key (which you won't unless you're a guest), there's a phone right there that rings directly to the spa desk and they come let you in. Easy once you know. I was shown to the changing area with secure coded lockers where you create your own code. I do wish the front desk attendant had explained how to actually set the locker code (push start enter your code push lock). Even when I asked a second time she kept saying just enter your code on the panel which didn't work for me after she left. I ended up asking the cleaning attendant, who was incredibly kind and helped me right away. The spa amenities themselves are ok -- hot tub, sauna, steam room, and a relaxing lounge area that instantly sets the vibe. That said, the hot tub space is on the smaller side. The tub itself is compact, and with the accessible chair positioned in that area (which I absolutely appreciate -- kudos for prioritizing accessibility), it can feel a bit more crowded than expected. If you're looking for the sauna or steam room, just walk around the corner -- you'll find both the dry sauna and steam room tucked right there. Now let's get to the star of the show Andrea! My masseuse! FIVE STARS. NO NOTES. Andrea came to get me shortly after, and off we went to a spacious treatment room (they have large rooms with double beds for couples, too). She started by asking thoughtful questions about my areas of concern and no-fly zones. I'm usually a "don't talk to me, just fix me" kind of girl during massages, and she only checked in once or twice to confirm pressure. I appreciated her attention to detail. The massage table was perfectly warmed (not too hot, just cozy), the headrest was positioned just right, and the table even adjusted electronically to elevate my legs. Chef's kiss. Andrea worked out the knots in my shoulders with exactly the right balance of firm and gentle pressure. Fifty minutes of pure bliss. I got off that table feeling renewed, relaxed, and genuinely content -- exactly how a massage should leave you feeling. Afterward, Andrea offered water or prosecco (say less ), and I headed to the relaxation room where they had infused spa water and chamomile tea to add to my prosecco. Because why choose just one? Lol I skipped the sauna this time because I was in full relaxation mode, but I'll absolutely be back -- especially to indulge in some of their specialty treatments. As I was leaving and walking back toward reception, I paused in the hallway to take a quick photo of a piece of wall art for my memories and this review. As I lifted my phone, one of the male therapists walked out of a nearby room and into the frame. I immediately lowered my phone, but he quickly snapped, "This is a no media area. You shouldn't be filming here." I wasn't filming -- just taking a photo of the artwork -- and I completely respect privacy policies in spa spaces. That said, the delivery felt abrupt and left a slightly sour note at the very end of an otherwise relaxing experience. As someone who works in customer service myself, I completely understand enforcing privacy policies. That said, a simple "Are you filming?" before jumping to a reprimand would likely have landed much better -- and in this case, wouldn't have even been necessary since I wasn't filming. I actually thought "thank God that wasnt my masseuse" - whole energy was off Final verdict: The spa itself is nice, Andrea is phenomenal!!!!!!!! My experience once I got to her was 5 star - aside from the small check-in explanation hiccup and that brief hallway interaction. Book with Andrea if you can. Your shoulders will thank you.

Came out of Yelp retirement just to let you guys know :…read more I had been trying to make a reservation at Heavenly Spa for a bachelorette since Monday January 24 for 7 people. I sent emails I called never got any reply back. On Friday, I called, and after my second attempt, I finally got in touch with the receptionist who was extremely rude in the way that she spoke. She proceeded to tell me that she did not receive any of the emails or calls or voicemail. So no emails or voicemails are going through in their system? That's really hard to believe that both ways of communication did not go through. I sent two emails the original one and the follow up. You're going to tell me you didn't receive either? Then she proceeds to give me the email of the manager. I emailed the manager and never heard back. Obviously, I'm looking for a different place to host the bachelorette now, but it is completely unprofessional the whole entire thing.

My first issue happened during a builder gel service where the burning sensation was so severe that I became lightheaded and nearly fainted afterward. Instead of taking that seriously, the owner chose to publicly imply I was lying because they personally "didn't witness it." Just because something did not happen directly in front of staff does not mean it didn't happen. The complete lack of concern or accountability surrounding that experience is honestly disturbing. I decided to give the salon another chance anyway because I had built a relationship with Ross and wanted to believe the first incident was isolated. Unfortunately, the second experience was just as disappointing. I booked a builder gel removal and Dazzle Dry manicure. I was charged for a removal, yet almost the entire layer of builder gel was left on my nails. When Ross mentioned leaving "a ledge on the tip," I understood that to mean reinforcing the very edge of the nail, not leaving builder gel across the entire nail bed. The end result was thick, uneven, bulky, and visibly grown out underneath the polish. It looked unfinished and honestly amateur. The owner's response claiming the photo is "misleading" is especially frustrating because the photo was taken immediately after I got home, before I removed everything myself that same night. The reason the manicure no longer looked "fully polished and manicured" is because I literally had to fix and remove parts of it myself after paying for a professional service that was not properly completed. What bothered me most was the tone of the response. Instead of simply acknowledging the experience and attempting to make things right, they chose to: - insinuate I was dishonest, - invalidate a medical/sensitivity reaction, - blame me for not speaking up enough during the service, - and even bring up my other public reviews in an attempt to discredit me personally. That is wildly unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Clients should not have to defend themselves publicly for expressing dissatisfaction, especially after being loyal customers for over a year. A professional response would have been accountability, empathy, and an offer to correct the issue -- not passive aggressive accusations and attempts to undermine the customer's credibility. Really disappointing overall, and after this response, I will absolutely not be returning.
