The work to remove hard gel, cut down and give a brand new set was not an easy task and she did it quickly and beautiful. I am so excited to come back and bring my 7 year old mini me as well. I've been coming here for over a year because the salon itself is beautiful and I genuinely wanted to support them, but after multiple bad experiences with Ross and now this incredibly defensive owner response, I feel obligated to be fully honest. My first issue happened during a builder gel service where the burning sensation was so severe that I became lightheaded and nearly fainted afterward. Instead of taking that seriously, the owner chose to publicly imply I was lying because they personally "didn't witness it." Just because something did not happen directly in front of staff does not mean it didn't happen. The complete lack of concern or accountability surrounding that experience is honestly disturbing. I decided to give the salon another chance anyway because I had built a relationship with Ross and wanted to believe the first incident was isolated. Unfortunately, the second experience was just as disappointing. I booked a builder gel removal and Dazzle Dry manicure. I was charged for a removal, yet almost the entire layer of builder gel was left on my nails. When Ross mentioned leaving "a ledge on the tip," I understood that to mean reinforcing the very edge of the nail, not leaving builder gel across the entire nail bed. The end result was thick, uneven, bulky, and visibly grown out underneath the polish. It looked unfinished and honestly amateur. The owner's response claiming the photo is "misleading" is especially frustrating because the photo was taken immediately after I got home, before I removed everything myself that same night. The reason the manicure no longer looked "fully polished and manicured" is because I literally had to fix and remove parts of it myself after paying for a professional service that was not properly completed. What bothered me most was the tone of the response. Instead of simply acknowledging the experience and attempting to make things right, they chose to: - insinuate I was dishonest, - invalidate a medical/sensitivity reaction, - blame me for not speaking up enough during the service, - and even bring up my other public reviews in an attempt to discredit me personally. That is wildly unprofessional behavior from a business owner. Clients should not have to defend themselves publicly for expressing dissatisfaction, especially after being loyal customers for over a year. A professional response would have been accountability, empathy, and an offer to correct the issue -- not passive aggressive accusations and attempts to undermine the customer's credibility. Really disappointing overall, and after this response, I will absolutely not be returning. read more

I called Lace Charm to book an appointment with Ross after seeing so many amazing reviews online while searching for a reliable "home salon." As a cheerleader coach responsible for several teams of cheerleaders, I'm always looking for dependable technicians and salons I can consistently refer business to. Unfortunately, my experience over the phone completely changed my perspective before even stepping into the salon. I spoke with Melissa, not sure if it's a guy or girl , who answered the phone, and her/he attitude was honestly one of the nastiest and most unprofessional I've ever experienced while trying to book a nail appointment. From the beginning, she/he was argumentative, dismissive, and repeatedly made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking questions about services and trying to book with a technician I specifically requested, Ross. At one point, she/he told me, "Maybe this isn't the salon for you," and accused me of having an attitude when all I repeatedly asked was for her to simply help me book the appointment because I did not want to go back and forth arguing. Instead of helping, she/he continued speaking to me in a condescending and rude manner, making me feel stupid for trying to clarify the services I wanted. As someone who works with large groups of people and frequently recommends businesses, first impressions and customer service matter. A person answering the phones is the first representation of the salon, and based on this interaction alone, I can honestly say Melissa would discourage many potential clients from ever booking. I still booked the appointment because I've heard wonderful things about Ross, but after having to process how poorly I was treated over the phone, I genuinely do not even feel comfortable going anymore. Lace Charm really needs to reconsider who is handling client communications because no customer should be made to feel belittled, disrespected, or unwelcome simply for trying to book a service. Melissa's behavior was beyond disappointing and completely unacceptable. 15 min later after booking the appt, I get a text and she cancels my appointment! Smh the MOST NASTIEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Little bit of a language barrier, but once I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she know exactly what to do and it matched the picture perfectly. Her attention to detail was insane. Very meticulous. When she was taking off my dip powder today I noticed I still had some of the pink I had on my nails from two appointments ago from my previous nail spa. Beware of this salon!!! I do not recommend if you would like to be scammed out of your money. They are over priced and not true to the prices on their website. You will be charged for removal on your full set and removal on your gel pedicure even though you are getting full services, which is not stated on the website. Shouldn't have to pay for removal if you're getting a full service. The photos on the website are also not up to date because this salon is not as clean as it looks on the website, and very very small. I booked Lily and Daniela for my daughter and I and let me tell you, they did a FANTASTIC job. Went in today for a gel mani and pedi. Just got out. Had to go home and file and trim my toe nails because they had jagged edges and are mis-shaped. My nails are a mess. Left hand is shorter than the right, got a French and the left hand line is darken and thicker than the right. The corners of my nails are misshapen and the line doesn't go all the way over. A very friendly technician explained to me the prices on the website are the prices when they opened the business. Suggestion to management: Take the prices off your website or update them. Baiting people to come in with outdated prices is low level. Do better. Take this as a sign on how they respect their customers. I just moved from New York where the best manicure pedicure salons exist. You can find them all over the place, they all do great jobs, are affordable and clean. Searching for one in Florida has been tough as most aren't that nice, the job is alright and the prices are insane. The headline is that I'll be coming back because overall she did a good job, it's clean / fresh and $50 for a classic m&p is on par with what I'd expect of a nail salon. With that said, some suggestions for the salon: -she did not massage my feet which I'm used to for a classic pedicure -I got a regular mani/pedi and they didn't have me sit under a dryer. She wanted to spray my nails with some nail dryer enamel but I said no because I don't like the smell and too many chemicals. It pains me to leave this review, However, I was extremely disappointed in my service here after carefully choosing a new nail place based on reviews. I booked a last minute appointment for my friend and I to get dip and gel X manicures yesterday. I booked the two manicures (seemingly separate services) online, and received a confirmation the appointments were accepted. When we arrived it was quite busy & seemingly short on staff available. It was 4:45 pm and understand that was near closing time, but not sure why our appointments were accepted if there wasn't enough techs available. We would've come back a different day had we known there was only one tech available. No one really communicated this to us, there was a language barrier and was an awkward situation as to what was going on. I felt bad to speak up. Our tech seemed to be rushing (she also was clearly not happy to be servicing two guests at a time) , this resulted in painful drilling on our cuticles. Very painful-I've never had to physically pull my hand away (both of us did, multiple times) because of the pain. We ended up being there for 3 hours, two other guests got a Mani's and pedi's and left the salon before us. Nails turned out well, but overall not a great experience for $200+ tip altogether. Again, saddens me to leave this but would like the owner to be aware of the situation that occurred and hopefully will not happen again to others. read more
