This order is based on delivery via postmates, however I will be taking into consideration the price of the original menu instead. Based on the food alone I would give this place a 2.5 stars but I since the portion size was good I'm leaning closer to 3 star instead. My ethnicity is Thai, Laotian and Cambodian, mainly consisting of Thai food for my upbringing. The pad thai was sweet but I feel like the base flavor was definitely missing something, maybe the umami flavor from fish sauce that I imagine when I think of pad thai? They have 6 pieces of shrimp for an extra $2-3(can't think of exact amount!) which was a good deal. The drunken noodle tasted better to me, had the sweetness and umami flavor I wanted but still not a strong base. My least favorite though was the egg rolls, for $8 you get 4 vegetable only egg rolls. If there was at least 6 I'd be understanding but $2 for an egg roll the size of your pointer finger felt ridiculous. The sauce wasn't that great to me either. Definitely don't suggest the egg rolls but the pad Thai and drunken noodle are not too bad I'd say don't order from here. This is a pretty good Thai place. We recently went here for the first time since the Covid shutdown of March 2020 and what we got was pretty good but not great. Chicken satay was god, but a bit dry and the peanut sauce with it was a bit thick and of one-dimensional peanut-butter character. Pumpkin curry was pretty good, but mild in character and lacking the complexity and depth of character which we like in Thai curries. It was otherwise pretty good and the portion was large, especially for the price. One the strength of the above things, my score would probably be about a 3, but we had slightly better experiences in the past (if not outstanding) so at the moment I am leaning to 3.5 so that would round up to a 4, which I think is appropriate in my mind at the moment. read more

Strange choice of cooking, i hope it was just a bad cook. The vegetables were way undercooked and the meat was overcooked. The cashew chicken had a good flavor to it which was weird because it is usually the more bland meal while the pad see ew was lacking the flavor. A long-time family friend Virgil treated me to lunch at Lynn's Thai Restaurant last week. I have always liked this place but it had been at least two years since I have been there. We started with Prawn's Satay which were cooked to perfection, peanut sauce was outstanding. Tom Yum Soup was next and the first time I have had it with coconut milk blended into the main stock. Nice thai spices, tangy but a bit of sweetness. Nothing short of great. Pad Thai with pork was the best I have ever tasted and I've been eating Thai food for some 53 years! Sweet and firm fresh mango with white sticky ride for dessert. The food was the best! Ding and her husband/chef really do a marvelous job. I went here last night for the first time. They upgraded their website to make ordering online easy. I had the pineapple red curry and my wife had chicken pad Thai. I also ordered the duck rolls, which my wife enjoyed but I couldn't because they had cucumber (not listed on the menu). Her pad Thai was large enough for two meals and she liked it both for dinner yesterday and lunch today. I was disappointed that no rice was included with curry; I'll have to ask next time or order it as a side dish. read more

Meh, while it wasn't a bad meal overall the food was also not memorable. I came with a friend and ordered the duck spring rolls, pad Thai, and massaman curry to share. The spring rolls were nicely presented and had complex flavor. I'm gluten free, so they did accommodate the sauce from the sweet plum sauce to a sweet and sour for me. Initially when I ordered it seemed the waitress was put out that I stated I'm gluten free. Even though all dishes ordered should have been naturally gluten free. It was strange. I brought wine and they don't offer a service to keep wine chilled, FYI. But corkage is minimal at only $9, so I guess yin to the yang. We arrived within closing time and as soon as the restaurant hit 9 they were pushing us out the door. This is where they lost a lot of points with me because despite not serving new customers a restaurant should allow current customers a little leeway to finish the meal ordered. We were essentially pushed out by 9:10ish and I felt rushed and not appreciated as a customer. I've worked in restaurants, you allow a little cushion for patrons to finish their meals within reason. I wouldn't expect a restaurant to let us stay hours later, but at least 30 minutes. With other Thai options offering more robust flavors and better service in the area there isn't a need to rush back for me. read more

Overall the dishes weren't that bad however the quality of their chicken and beef is terrible. It's very dry and hard...possibly due to being overcooked or having freezer burn. I hate to give small businesses bad reviews but Lynn's fell short big time when it came to quality. read more

Don't come here if you aren't prepaid to get kicked out the door at exactly at close time on the dot. This was a torn review. The food was decent and liked what I ate, but really wasn't impressed with the way customers were treated. Not with only me but the 2 other tables surrounding me. After a long 5.5hr day with my grandmother regarding, power of attorney, medi-Cal, Kaiser , grocery shopping ect, I was running on empty and needed to eat. Finding this place on Yelp, I honed in here. I called at 2:25 to see what time they were open. She said 3pm. PERFECT! I'm in Cotati and will be right there. I arrived at 2:35 with 25 mins too spare before closing. There was another table that was finishing up and another couple that walked in after me. In was placed under this loud speaker with a loop of Mariah Carey's Christmas music blaring in my ear. She wouldn't let me move because they already cleaned the other tables. Very loud and unplesant. I felt so much pressure to order that I just dove with the pumpkin curry. My ice tea came out so clear that I was wishing it was a long island. My food was tossed at me faster than I can blink at 2:40. With 19 mins to scarf it down, I was tossed a to go box and a bill at 2:59pm. At 3:03pm she walked over to the table next to me and said , " RESTAURANT CLOSED " I have never felt so pressured to " GET OUT " in my life! Since this was a time of decompression, it only added more stress to my already stressful day. I paid the my $22 bill exact, no tip for the rudeness and I unfortunately will not be returning to this business. There are other more pleasant choices around. First time in over a year that I've eaten at Lynn's. The food is just as good now as pre-pandemic. We ordered Tom yum soup, Pad see Ew, Pumpkin Curry, green mango salad, and potstickers. Plenty of good choices for vegetarians. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable, especially considering how much the cost of ingredients and labor has increased in our area. The two ladies that greeted me and assisted me with my to-go order were friendly helpful and took great attention to ensure I received the heat/spice level on my items that I wanted. And for the first time in a while, I actually received my Thai food order with a spice level perfectly suited for me. I like my food quite spicy, which is one of the reasons I adore Thai food. I ordered the tofu salad and pumpkin curry with vegetables and no rice. At first I thought $10 for the tofu salad was expensive, but then when I saw the serving amount I was appeased. Fyi, you even get to choose your heat level for the tofu salad. I haven't been anywhere that has allowed me to do that. Tofu salad contains: crispy tofu, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, parsley, romaine lettuce, carrots and a vinaigrette (I may be missing a few ingredients). The pumpkin curry was creamy, smoky and delicious. Large chunks of vegetables and a hefty serving to boot. Vegetables included: broccoli, green bell peppers, cauliflower, pumpkin, zucchini and carrots (maybe others). I am delighted that a co-worker recommended this restaurant to me. I will definitely be back, and probably very soon. Updated 2/7/18: I've been back 2 more times since original post. Ordered tofu salad each time and fresh mushroom rolls once. The rolls were tasteless yet large; however their dipping sauce made up for most of the blandness. The tofu salad each time (three all together) has differed greatly. Therefore, I have to reduce the rating from 4 to 3 stars due to inconsistency. I had no tomatoes on the 2nd and 3rd order. No cucumbers or dressing on 3rd order. They are just what's needed any time of year! You can't go wrong with any of her Rolls of Paradise - my favorite is the duck. Another fav is her Pumpkin Curry. Just the right heat from spices that fresh and flavorful. For the less adventurous, the BBQ pork is the ticket. For vegetarians and vegans, you'll have plenty of stomach satisfying choices!! I love the food here. Sadly, tonight was the last time I eat their food. I've been eating and recommending this place for about 6-7 years and the last two times I've ordered take-out it's been a ridiculous fiasco. The second-to-last time we ordered, they "lost" our order, when I called them back they were very apologetic and suddenly "found" the order - okay so NOW it will be 25 minutes. I only have come here for take out, but the inside is so warm and inviting while I pay for my food that it'd make a great place to dine in. There's a gorgeous fish tank with lovely koi swimming around near the counter while tables each have their own flowers and decorative napkins. The place is usually half full and the patrons are very kind in their voice levels. The waitresses and cashier are also super friendly and will offer water if even your takeout is a few minutes away from being done. On the note about take out, usually expect a 20 to 25 minute wait for your order to be complete. I take advantage of their specials (usually around 11 dollars) and often order a Thai ice tea as I wait. I love their curries here and get it spicy. I also enjoy their fried spring rolls. My husband adores their shrimp and prawn dishes. He's tried their mango prawns and their shrimp with basil and asparagus specials. They've very considerate when wrapping it up so that nothing spills and everything remains piping hot even after a 30 minute drive home. I wanted to try this place for a long time so I ordered through GrubHub today. What a huge disappointment! The tofu rolls are a joke. It looks like something my great grandma might've put together having no idea what she was doing. And the same goes for the fresh rolls you get as a part of your meal. Flimsy iceberg lettuce with rice paper that's way too thick and in fact unedible and overall just kind a yucky. The red curry was spicy but still really bland. They just put a lot of hot in it so they didn't have to think about putting any flavor in it. I've never even had red curry this gross - like TV dinner red curry and in fact not even that good. Ordered for delivery last night, two curry dishes (yellow and red) and Tom Kha soup. I received a call asking if I wanted rice with my order - of course I did! Apparently rice with your curry is an extra charge. I've never, ever been to or ordered from a Thai restaurant that didn't give you rice as an automatic, especially with curry. They wanted me to place a second order with the delivery service for rice (and then have to pay the additional delivery charge). I said no and we just made our own rice at home. The soup was good but VERY sweet. Not what i was expecting. A bit too much coconut milk. The curries were decent, but also a bit on the sweet side. A good amount of chicken in all of them, though. Phlegmatic. Lynn's Thai Restaurant reviewed in a single word. The curry's are tasty. The salad though tiny are presented well and have a peanut sauce which is also unique and tasty. This is a good place to enjoy lunch. One may select vegetable, tofu, chicken, beef or pork to be put in the curry. I selected pork. While the curry was good, the pork was tasteless and not at all tender. (I think this is due to being over cooked.) It was not very spicy. If you like spicy, let them know - otherwise it will come out for the generic Western palate. The service like the food: phlegmatic. It's a job. Other reviews use the word "rude" - I'd use the word "bored". Whatever. I don't mind when I'm going out for lunch. Just bring me the food. Lynn's Thai Restaurant is a good place to go if you are craving curry with rice. The pumpkin curry is unique and not at all spicy.
