We timed it right! As walk-ins, you never know, but it was a bit later so we ordered quickly, sat immediately, and within a few minutes, we were loving the high-temperature pizza oven pizza. We ordered a Margherita pizza with mushrooms and sausage, fresh mozzarella, and basil. The crust was delicious but failed the fold test. Frankly, I don't give a damn . It was so good I even ate my girlfriend's crust! The sauce was thick and balanced, the toppings plentiful and fresh. Open layout is super nice, If you arrive close to closing time, I think twice! Food quality is like a dream, But the price to add salmon was a little obscene! The hungry Poet is back. I just want to touch base about my most recent visit to Lenora's. I've been to this location about three times. This is the location on Dixie Highway. They have open air seating, which is really nice on most evenings. This particular evening we arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close more like 35 minutes before they were scheduled to close at 10 PM. It was a Friday night. We ordered a pizza and the rigatoni with mushrooms and cream sauce and I wanted to add a piece of salmon to it. After we sat down, my boyfriend's pizza came out in about seven minutes maximum. It was piping hot. The cheese was kind of sloppy and all over the place. It didn't really look like it was made with love. But he said it was good. My food however, took about 20 to 25 minutes longer than his pizza did. He was done eating his entire pizza before my food came out. That's never a good situation. They could've at least warned us of that, or let us know that that would be the case if they didn't realize it until they started making the food. There were only two other tables there. Once my food did come out, the salmon that I added for protein was almost $15. Obscene! I could get almost 3 pounds of salmon for that amount. It was maybe a 6 ounce piece maybe. And when they brought it out, it was raw in the middle. So I had to send it back and that was not met with a positive attitude, even though we brought up the issue with a very positive attitude despite having to wait almost 30 minutes for me to even get my food after my boyfriend had finished his pizza. They brought the salmon back and when they returned it, the employee was very pleasant and asked if I wanted to check it first. I ended up eating half of the pasta and packing the rest up to take home because by this time it was a few minutes after 10 o'clock and we didn't want to sit there as the only table left when we knew that they were obviously ready for closing time. One thing I must say is that I think divine intervention kept me in a great mood because they played my favorite journey song, they played my favorite song of all time, which is Tears for Fears. Everybody wants to rule the world, and then they played Bob Seger, who is definitely the artist who would've been my boyfriend or at least my celebrity crush had I've been born a few years earlier. We had a great experience here for lunch recently. We'd planned to go to another place down the street, but they had so much negative political stuff displayed that we didn't feel comfortable dining there. Lynora's was nearby so we decided to try them. The casual place is small. A half dozen tables inside -- that are open to the street -- plus tables outside on the "patio" under a covered awning and a couple tables outside on the north side of the building under the eaves. We chose to sit inside. You order and pay at the counter. You are given a numbered tabletop sign. The gals working there couldn't have been nicer. Friendly, smiley, and accommodating. We felt welcome and appreciated. They had a couple lunch specials on the board out front. We decided to get one of them and also get a salad and share both. After helping ourselves to a drink from the cooler (included with one of the specials), we chose a table for two and displayed our numbered plaque. The tagliate mixto salad we got was huge. Almost too much for just the two of us. And it was delicious. We'd swapped out the mixed greens for romaine lettuce, plus it had kalamata olives, halved cherry tomatoes, and cucumber slices. We left off the onions. It was in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, but we added more olive oil and balsamic from the bottles on the table. Along with the salad, we shared their chicken parmigiana hero. This was one of the lunch specials that came with chips (our choice of bags from a display --we did the BBQ ones) and a soda of our choice, too. The chicken was lightly breaded along with tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese in a crusty bread. The hero was served warm. It was cut in half and still we took each half of a half home! We were checked on several times. We got a box to go. And we are already planning a return visit. read more

Amazing Italian! I love the set up of the whole restaurant. Super cute. The pizza oven was very cool to see. Bit pricey but the food made up for it for the freshness and authenticity! Hubby suggested Lynora's for Vday lunch. I was definitely excited as I haven't been in a while. Greeted by lovely staff upon arrival. Always hard to decide what to eat as everything is amazing. We narrowed it down to the Friday lunch fettuccini special and bolognese. Watermelon high noon for my beverage. The fettuccini was a bit bland and chicken kind of dry but jazzed it up with chili infused olive oil, salt and pepper. Today's experience landed somewhere between a four and five. Upon entering to order, there was no line, we were quickly greeted, and our order was taken. We were given a number and when the food was ready, the server quickly brought our order to the table . My husband had chicken mayonnaise, he stated it was slightly smaller than usually served at this restaurant,, but very nicely seasoned. I shared the fettuccine Bolognese with our child and we both delighted in this. The wine selection is simple, with only three whites and three reds on offer. I had the Pinot Grigio, it was palatable, a general house wine nothing extraordinary, but very nice and simple with the meal. For dessert, we shared a slice of the chocolate cake which we've had in the past. It was delicious and the flavor is wonderful however, unfortunately, as it has been recently taken from the freezer there was ice chips within. The server offered us a lemoncello cake or cookie instead, but we declined and continued with the chocolate cake. The restaurant is set in an old garage, the ambience is very cute, quirky and clean. It has some seating inside and an outdoor patio that wraps around, which is next to the parking lot. One would think this might be uncomfortable however it's quite charming and although the restaurant is next to a major road , it is still generally quiet and a very relaxing meal. read more

Been patrons (around monthly) here since the week they opened. It could not be better! Never had a single item done less than perfectly. Pizzas are sublime; pasta dishes, too. We typically dine in -- it's a fun place to people-watch -- and find service universally prompt and friendly, even when it gets swamped (which is often, in season). I would first like to say I am not a big fan of Italian food so for me to write a review you know I was wowed. This dish was probably one of the best dishes I've ever had. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente. The creamy mushroom sauce with the truffle flavor was delicious. Honestly delicious is an understatement of how good this dish was. I like this Lynora's location compared to the others because it's more laid back and not as busy as the others. The service was great. Chicken parm was on point with a quality spaghetti. Sauce has traditional slow cooked , well seasoned taste.

I stepped up to the counter and inquired as to whether the words writ large on the wall ("90 second pizza") were true. I explained that's what I want: thin crust, hot, fresh...and was assured that's what they do. I asked for a Margarita pizza with prosciutto. She asked if I wanted the prosciutto cooked on the pie or added after it came out of the oven. I said I'd like it cooked, but not if it comes out dry and tough like shoe leather. She said, "no, it's only in for 90 seconds. If it's not good, we'll make you another one, and we'll keep going until we get it right." No need for that, because it was perfect. Piping hot, it was on a thin piece of paper sitting on a wood board. Not a speck of cornmeal or loose semolina in sight, thank you very much, because I hate that. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was very light. The crust had the perfect simple taste of flour, water, salt, and yes, passion, as stated in their motto. The crushed tomato sauce was in perfect balance. Not too sweet. No too salty. Simple, pure, and delicious. The prosciutto was excellent, and though it looks like a lot of cheese, it was a great balance. Like I said, the whole pie was much lighter than it looked. If I didn't have an appointment after my quick dinner, I'd have allowed myself a few tears. It was that good! My husband knows he's lucky I saved him a piece. We'll go together this week. read more

Great atmosphere. Service was okay but our server was quite slow and had poor knowledge of the menu. We always saw her waiting around for people's food or drinks so she didn't check on our needs like napkins or refills. The food was okay. The marinara that came with the calamari seemed very watered down and the sangria was not good and lacked its fruity flavor. Other than that, the restaurant was clean and the prices were decent. I love everything about this place except the pay at the counter model. At first we walked right up but as it got busier I had to wait in line more than ten minutes to order a water and second glasses of wine so I ordered a dessert too. The line was even longer when I was through....they should consider a second register, a handheld orderer or a table side app as this model is not efficient for their traffic. The counter girl was flustered-forgetting we ordered wine. The table next to us was a larger group complaining of the same issue saying they wouldn't return. All that said, the food was AMAZING! We share a salad, picante pizza and the lobster ravioli. The pizza is flash fired in ninety seconds-light and delicious-cooked to perfection. Unfortunately they did not bring plates and we were both on our second slice by the time anyone was nearby to request plates. The pasta came out last and was spectacular!
