A nice afternoon to sit outside especially now that season is over and you can get in many places without a reservation now. Everything was very good the service was attentive. It was hotter outside but I was able to get a table in the shade. Inside seemed a little loud and dark so I have to sit outside even though it was hot. If you come over to the island make sure that you are paying to park. You don't want to catch a parking ticket. We had a group of 7 that had lunch between Christmas and New Year's. We were seated promptly at our reservation time ... recommended during Season. Beautiful outdoor seating with indoor availability. Beautiful plants and smells in the area. Servers were prompt with water and drink orders. The shrimp and calamari appetizers were excellent. We had four different pizzas, a salad and lobster bisque. In 5 years since I moved back here-they have always exceeded our expectations! We usually sit inside.. the inside and outside is Magical! Looks like a true Mediterranean paradise! The service is 5 Stars and if I could give 10 Stars I would! The food is fresh and delicious! The Calamari, the burrata and prosciutto and meatball appetizers are fresh, and beyond delicious. All are enough to share for a table of 4! Definitely order at least one of these... The mushroom pizza we always order with extra cheese and it comes out piping hot, crispy on the bottom and creamy and cheesy on top! To die for... The Bolognese sauce is just like Nonna used to make.. definitely homemade from scratch! They made it on linguine for my Brother in Law! Another huge portion! They will customize their menu for you.. Pizza Al Fresco in Palm Beach is a hidden gem in the midst of Worth Avenue. My husband and I shared a Napolitana Pizza and a Pollo al Limone. The food was amazing. We also had an espresso martini which was yummy. Finally, we shared a tres leches which was okay. The place looked amazing with string lights around the many trees of the outdoor courtyard setting. From the start, awesome. The staff, service and food were all 10/10. We started with Moscow Mules, they came out in a glass instead of the signature mug but hey, at least it tasted right. We decided to try a few different items just to get a taste of things. We ended up with a Hawaiian pizza, that's fresh prosciutto and fresh pineapple.. Soooo good, an eggplant lasagna that was probably one of the best I've ever tasted without meat and we tried the sautéed spinach with was perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I had some black substance floating in my drink, the waiters saw me fiddling with the glass and immediately came over to apologize and bring me a fresh drink. Would come again and would recommend. We sat in the outdoor patio area, didn't go inside at all or see the restrooms but from my view everything was very nicely cleaned and well kept. The pasta e fagioli soup (a special) was some of the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the burrata, messicana pizza, and pollo al limone. The chicken was extremely flavorful and juicy. They advertise on the menu that they have gluten-free crust available, but actually did not. Unsure if that was just the case that evening, or if they've discontinued it altogether. Hope not! Ample table seating in a nicely decorated courtyard. Our server Argenis was courteous, welcoming and entertaining. Restaurant offers an extensive wine listing along with top shelf liquor. When ordering the Margarita Pizza don't be surprised when it looks like a regular cheese thin crust pizza. Make sure to order the traditional pizza which is their version of Margarita. The fettuccine bolognese, pollo alls Milanese and parmigiana, paparde aurora and broccoli rabe were well portioned and expertly prepared. Staff went out of their way to "sing" to one of our friends celebrating their birthday ( although it was yesterday) it was much appreciated. Definitely a restaurant I'd revisit next time I'm down in Florida and one I would strongly recommend. read more

Had 4-5 different servers, grandma manager lady told us "thank god you guys aren't ever gonna come back". Wine was warm, pizza was disgusting tasted like card board no sauce. We went for lunch today and the manager was very nice and told us we could stay with our puppy if we sat outside. Which we did. Service was good and the food was very good Salmon al Forno and Pasta Bolognese. At the time the bill came, I decided to overtip and the pen provided for me to sign the bill, was very smooth a Bic gel pen. I decided to keep it and told the waiter that I would like to keep it, the waitress was very rude making a big deal at the fact that I was keeping a $2.59 dollar pen. This was a delicious treat! We took a drive up A1A with a stopover on Worth Avenue! We wandered and winded through various scenic alleyways and Pizza al Fresco caught our eyes. The dirty martini came with bleu cheese stuffed olives and we split the Palm Beach pizza, which was recommended on Let's Eat, South Florida. I made a road trip with friends to Jupiter and on our way back we decided to stop by Palm Beach to walk around Worth Avenue. We found this beautiful outdoor pizza place to have dinner. We decided to seat outside but it was a little chilly so ended up moving inside. Servers were OK with us moving and helped with our drinks. The food was delicious, we ended up sharing several pizzas and ordered one salad and pasta as well. The al fresco salad was really good and the truffle fries were the best. All pizzas were prepared in wood burning brick oven with thin crusts, all of them were delicious! The ambience is super nice, there were a few birthday parties and celebrations in the outdoor area. Large outdoor plazas invite you to sit, have a glass of prosecco, sit for a while and enjoy the view and people-watching. Service was quick but not in a rush-you-out way. As for food, we ordered pretty simply. For starters, we had escarole and beans ( nicely done, perfumed with garlic) and a bowl of lobster bisque (tasty by the inclusion of sherry, but lacking any lobster meat and somewhat on the thin side). A bit of bread comes with the soup, I wish there were some for my escarole. Next, we ordered a plain pizza and a chicken Milanese. The chicken was ok, breaded, pounded cutlet topped with a few greens and tomato, but nothing special and not worth the $31 price tag. As for the pizza, it is a shame that they serve such a feh pie. The crust was dry as a board, and the cheese/tomato combination tasted like Red Barron frozen. I like Red Barron if I am eating frozen pizza (which I hardly ever eat), so I would never order that again from here. This fresh pie tasted fake to me. Pizza Al Fresco was a fantastic find during my day trip to Palm Beach. I was visiting South Florida and my mom and I decided to visit Palm Beach for the day for window shopping and to check out some of the amazing cars on Worth Avenue! For lunch, my mom was hoping to find a restaurant that she ate at a year ago but all she could remember was that it was "hidden" from the street. We walked in one of the alleys and came across Pizza Al Fresco - my mom immediately recalled the blue umbrellas and knew this was the spot she was looking for! We were quickly seated at a table outside (all of the tables have a large umbrella to protect you from the sun). Despite being there on a fairly warm day, I felt very comfortable in our shaded area. I liked the pretty blue glasses they served our drinks in. The waiters/waitresses did a great job tending to every customer, making sure we were taken care. The menu is the perfect size - nobody wants a menu with a ridiculous number of choices. I was looking for a small-medium meal since it was only lunch. I opted for the Di Pollo sandwich (basically a chicken + mozzarella sandwich) which was DELICIOUS. It was served warm and was the portion size was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised with the side of fries, which were outstanding. Meanwhile, my Mom really enjoyed her salad (she's super picky!) and was also pleased with the service. Also, everything was reasonably priced, which is not what you'd expect in Palm Beach! Next time I visit the area, I'll definitely consider returning for either lunch or dinner. read more

This restaurant is hidden back in one of the alleys between shops but I think everyone should know about it. We stopped into this restaurant on whim during our vacation and we're glad we did. I always enjoy finding local spots wherever I travel and this was one that I'd visit again if I visit the area. The service here was top notch. There was never a moment in which I had to ask for a refill or more of something. There was always someone ready to clear your plate or get you another drink or take an order. I can tell that that is how they do things all the time because they were relatively busy for a Friday night and still provided that level of service to everyone. As for the food, it is an Italian restaurant and it was phenomenal. They cooked the food quickly but still maintained some of the best quality I've had. The meatballs were probably my least favorite and even they were delicious. The sauce also tastes like it's made in-house. For an entrée I order the lamb chop special. It was some of the most tender and juicy lamb I've had. The way they prepared it would have made you think it wasn't even lamb because it didn't have that gamey taste that lamb normally has. The tiramisu paired with a cappuccino for dessert was divine. The tiramisu tasted freshly made and made it all the better. If you are in the Palm Beach area and want a good Italian restaurant for your date, group, event, etc., then definitely try this place out.
