Whoever gives this place anything above a one star, should have their review status revoked. Got pizza to go, grabbed a margarita and a cheese. The dough for the pizza was extremely lack luster. There was zero flavor and it was completely under done. If you have ever bought the Pillsbury just add water for pizza dough, that is EXACTLY what this tasted like. I have never had cheese on a pizza that tasted soupy. This pizza was in no way any shape or form of a quality type of pizza let alone had any type of quality ingredients. I am beyond stunned I paid $16 for a large cheese pizza! We did order a $8 salad that did not have the toppings it was supposed to have. This only had lettuce and chopped up tomatoes. The vinaigrette dressing had a weird after taste also. This was not only me eating it, but 4 other people eating/trying it also. When you grab one slice from each and everyone does not want to go back for another slice, what does that say? We had a good lunch here. After a few days of large meals, we were looking for something smaller. Maybe salad and a slice? We wound up ordering a small pizza. I'd had this place bookmarked. It's located on the outskirts of the Wellington Mall. And as we were headed north on 441/State Road 7, it was a convenient place to stop here first before shopping. We were the only ones dining in for lunch in this small restaurant when we stopped by mid-day on a Saturday. After looking at the menu, we decided to order their small pizza with added mushrooms. We both got sodas -- which came in resealable bottles and a glass of ice on the side. It didn't take too long for the pizza to be ready. It was cut into 6 small wedges and just the right size for what we wanted for lunch. We both liked the crispy texture and flavor of the crust. I wasn't that big a fan of their tomato sauce, but that didn't stop me from chowing down. They do more than pizza although this seems their main item, including hot and cold sandwiches, calzones and strombolis, as well as other Italian entrees. I'm glad we stopped by. The food here is decent. But this was another really bad experience while giving the place a second chance after extremely slow table service on my last visit. Maybe it's because the place is new. Maybe they've never served take out pizza before this, not sure. But you can't possibly serve a sicilian (read: thick) pizza in a normal sized box and expect it to not be a disaster (see photo). Also ordered a specialty pizza with ONE additional topping (glaze). Pretty tough to miss, as it's the only item in red on the receipt, yet that single topping was somehow not added. There are plenty of other decent pizza places around who can keep their pizza intact and get simple orders right. (Never had this problem with a sicilian from any other local joint like Lutina's, Big Rocco's, or Basilico's) I thought the menu looked interesting before my first visit but after two horrible experiences there is absolutely no reason to recommend this place. read more

Brought my parents to Victor's Pizza Cafe on Mother's Day. Located right next to Franco's Italian Bistro in Wellington. The owners actually own Franco's as well, and they grabbed some items that are from Franco's Menu on to Victor's. Right off the bat, it looks like a bright and quiet establishment. There is a lot of outdoor seating with large ceiling fans since there are maybe about 5 booths inside the cafe. The decor was minimal and simple. We ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza, Chicken Bianco Pizza, Lasagna, and 6 Garlic Knots. The garlic knots had a nice crunchy top but also soft and chewy, it came with a side of marinara sauce. The Meat lovers was good, but it was a little wet. The Chicken Bianco was decent, not my favorite but it was pretty good. The Lasagna was okay, the bottom layer of the pasta was pretty tough, we ate everything but the last layer. Service was great, our waitress Alana was so attentive and sweet. She was able to tell us what was popular and a little background on Victor's Pizza Cafe. We couldn't finish our pizza so she took it to the back and packed it up for us. Victors pizza cafe offered a buy one get one free promotion on Facebook so hubby and I came here for date night. The chicken Alfredo was rich and creamy it would be better if they used steps of chicken instead of the cubes but hubby enjoyed it. The garlic knots were fantastic. I got the chicken Ramona the sauce was delicious and the chicken was moist the potatoes that it was served with were nothing special. I recently tried Victors after craving pizza on a Friday night. This restaurant seemed to have some of the best reviews in the area. I ordered online which was easy and my order was set to be ready in 30-35 minutes. Upon arriving the order was ready on time! We ordered a Chicken Bianca pizza which had grilled chicken, soutéed onions, ricotto, truffle oil. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of chicken that was on the pizza. My only critique would be I personally could have used a bit more truffle oil as i really didn't notice the taste of truffle throughout the pizza. Regardless, it was still delicious and perfectly cooked. I will for sure be back the next time I am craving pizza! read more

My new favorite spot! The owner Victor is from Italy and such a lovely man, he makes you feel welcome and cared for. A true local gem. The pizza are incredible, crust is lovely and you can tell that the ingredients they use are fresh. LOVE a cozy local spot where the food is delicious. It's so rare nowadays, with all these chains... Decided to get a quick dinner here despite the conflicting reviews to see for ourselves. Really cute set up they got with indoor and outdoor seating. Smelled a little peculiar walking in, but it wasn't overwhelming. Place was very clean overall. We ordered the bang bidi shrimp (might've got the name wrong) as an appetizer. Really good, nice and crispy. The sauce had a good lil kick to it. Not too much breading either. For entrees we got the Chicken Caesar Wrap, Spaghetti and Meatball, and the Ricotta and Prosciutto Calzone. All them were pretty good. Great place for a quick lunch and dinner. Due to the nice reviews Victor's had I decided to try a pizza from them. Although the cheese and sauce were excellent the slices were thick and doughy. Also, the cheese easily fell off the slices. With a little tweaking, Victor's would favorably compare with Jimmy''s Brooklyn Pizza. Came in for the first time. We ordered Rice Balls for appetizers and they were really outstanding. The main course was a large pie Half Pepperoni and Half plain. As I have a difficult time finding a favorite pizza joint, this place hit the spot today. The undercarriage amazing, the crispiness and the texture was right on. I have a place to count on to have a pizza. Not sure how old is this place, but I wish them well. Will definitely come back again. We loved the service also. My regrets were not taking pictures. I'm sorry but this was a pass for me. I hate writing this about a new business, but am hoping they'll take constructive criticism and improve. Service is actually very nice. I called and placed a carry out order. The lady on the phone was very helpful and had my food ready right on time. I took my pizza to go, but the interior is super cute. It's bright, cheery, and super clean. It's not huge, but it's nicely done. The food? Oh man, this fell super short for me. The dough is just not right. Almost too thick but no crunch to it. Not sure what went wrong. I thought too many toppings but the cheese pizza had the same issue. The center of the pie was almost doughy like it didn't cook all the way. That's not the worst part though. My toppings. This was so confusing to me. I think they may have forgotten to put them on and threw them in after?? They were definitely not cooked at all. I'm used to that crispy edge on a bubbly pepperoni, but these looked like they just came out of the package. The ham too. I just don't get it. The good part? The sauce was pretty good. Not bitter. Not chunky. The cheese was actually pretty good too. But the baking and the strange raw toppings was a huge turn off for me. Would I go back? Looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch while visiting Wellington from CT, so we stopped in on a whim. We ordered three smalls to share: meat lovers (add olives), broccoli rabe with sausage and fresh garlic made white, and a plain mozz. All were delicious. Took my daughter there to get some pizza for her birthday. We came in hungry and luckily the place was empty, not a table taken. You get hit with a dirty dish smell right when you walk in which is very unpleasant but it dissipates as you get to the table. The server was not educated on the menu or the specials. I placed my order around 6:30 pm (this will come up later in the review). I ordered garlic rolls which came out around 7pm. My daughter's small cheese pizza didn't come out until 7:30pm, my pizza followed 5 minutes after, and the Stromboli I ordered came out 15 minutes after the pizza. I was annoyed the entire time since the restaurant was empty minus 1 table, they arrived after me, and got their food before I did. The food was good, however, a suggestion if you plan on eating here eat before you come, and you'll probably get hungry while waiting for the food to arrive. The check came and the time ordered on the check was 6:46 PM which differed from the 630 time that I actually ordered the food from the server. I asked why there was such a discrepancy between the time that I ordered and the time that the food was put in and the server said that, it was his third day and he didn't get proper training. He followed to say that he is accountable and he apologized. However, he then made up every excuse under the sun to justify why the food took so long, including the fact that he messed up in the order , and told the cook to remake the pizza, but that never happened because I was sitting right across from the oven and I watched everything happened including my food not being made for 45 minutes. Nothing worse than being lied to straight to your face after hearing lies about being accountable. To spend the money I did for sub par service and an astonishing wait time for the food to arrive, Victors was an astronomical disappointment. I go by reviews and I'm starting to think everyone is taking amazons model of paid fake reviews. The good reviews for this place don't correlate with what I saw. I wish I went to Sicilian oven instead, even with a full restaurant they prioritize service and never would have allowed that kind of food turn around time. Food 4/5. service 0/5. Atmosphere 1/5. We both agreed the food was fresh & delicious. The portion sizes were decent and waitress was super kind and attentive. 1 complaint which can easily be rectified: We sat outside since it was a nice refreshing day but unfortunately were annoyed by flies all over our dishes.
