Three cheese grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup
    Kelsey B.

This place was nice and quiet. The perfect place for me to have some drinks and work on my laptop for about 3 hours. They have electrical outlets at each of the booths. I tried three of the local tap beers, and they didn't disappoint. The lunch special for the day was a 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque soup. Perfect for a 45degree day. The grilled cheese was grilled on a flat with Parmesan cheese which made it have a bit of a crunch. The service was great. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed the food here at lyric kitchen, and bar. They had a diverse menu and some fun seasonal drink options. The space was quiet and had comfortable seating. There is parking that can be validated, but we easily found street parking downtown. The waiter was great. He provided clarity on some of the menu items and offered suggestions while keeping his offerings personalized. Deducted one star because they were out of a few items we had requested, but would go back again

    Vegan Bowl with added Salmon

I have eaten at this restaurant three times this summer while staying at the Holiday Inn. As far as hotel restaurants go, it's a solid place to eat. They make excellent cocktails and the cheese curds are yummy. There are a number of options for vegans and vegetarians on the menu. I ate the Vegan Bowl on two separate occasions. The vegetables were crisp, not soggy though I wish they would ease up on the stir fry sauce just a bit. The dish would also be greatly improved if they offered a vegan protein on top, such as edamame or tofu. The breakfast menu is extensive with many vegetarian items. Vegans will have a tougher time. My scramble was excellent and I appreciated their willingness to make a substitution. If you are staying in Duluth, definitely a place you can eat at and be happy. Easy to maneuver on my knee scooter. Accommodating staff. Vegan protein should be available with vegan protein Ample breakfast selection

First- I'm a great cook. So going out to eat means it tastes great- looks great- and is that way every time. I like a restaurant I can bring BIPOC friends and they are treated well. No withholding service, cocktails, options. Welcome to the LYRIC. Great food. Great service. Oh- did I mention- the ONLY D-town restaurant with GLUTEN FREE breaded chicken sandwich!!! Gotta try the Bison Blueberry Burger.

The service was amazing. I think we went at a slow time which was perfect for table service. The food was unlike any other I have ever had before and portion sizes were extraordinarily large. Definitely the best bang for your buck in Duluth. They had a great variety of food options, perfect for anyone who would want to go.

I fly for an airline and being a New Yorker we obviously know a good meal when we get one. This restaurant within the Holiday Inn has got their stuff together. The service is great. The ambiance is cool, quiet yet the TV's were showing sports games on a Saturday at 11:20am. The breakfast meal that I selected "California Skillet" was on point. The presentation was that of a high end restaurant in my neck of the woods. Not to say they are not high end because they kept getting calls for reservations. It's more the price I paid for my meal is easily twice that in NY. Very satisfying and highly recommend Lyric if you want to eat a good meal without leaving the hotel.

Walleye Tacos, Jambalaya Pasta & Bison Burger

Just ok food , priced fairly & affordable. The bison burger is on the dry side though.

Went on a Friday evening at 9pm. Had reservation but that was not really necessary. Order Brezel sticks with cheese, clam chowder and a Prime Rub all was very good

The Totchos are worth the visit alone. The service was extremely good and the staff was very friendly.

Overheard a couple of people be dissatisfied with their drink ($6.50 for quick pour on a White Russian). Had one cider in a tall boy from the twin cities for $7. Wife also had a flat cola. It was busy, in the setting of one bartender. She was nice. Doesn't really provide table service, moreso going to the bar to order and pick stuff up. There's a menu online. This was NOT what we saw when we showed up. They had a burger, fish and chips, pulled pork sliders, Caesar wrap, and appetizers. Based on the online menu and the outdoor patio, we were expecting more of a pub. Wisconsin cheese curds were okay.... didn't find much nostalgia from my Wisconsin childhood; some were more breading than cheese. The sauce with them were good though! Tater kegs better than expected. Chicken Caesar Wrap had some pretty dang tasty chips from whatever bag they came. The ratios were high in lettuce, less so of chicken and Parmesan

CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS Sweet and spicy soy glaze with sautéed red peppers and scallions. These were a little too heavy on the sauce for my liking, but otherwise very good. If you're not a fan of sweeter flavors, this one may not be for you. BUFFALO MAC & CHEESE Cavatappi pasta tossed in a creamy mac sauce, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, blue cheese crumbles, and onion straws. We added bacon and chicken, and this was a top pick for us! The buffalo sauce had the perfect balance--not overly spicy, but enough flavor to complement the creamy mac and cheese. CPB CO. FISH AND CHIPS Craft beer-battered haddock served with Northcoaster fries and house-made tartar sauce. Another top pick for us! The fish was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly fried. Honestly, one of the best fried fish dishes I've had in Minnesota. Unfortunately, I can't report on the beer as I'm not a big drinker...Sorry! Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, welcoming service, and plenty of variety. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Duluth!

The beer selection was a little smaller than we expected, but there was still a nice variety of styles, so everyone in our group found something they enjoyed. They also have a full bar with specialty cocktails. The food menu was surprisingly large with lots of unique and fun options to try. The only small downside was that the Brussels sprouts were still a little undercooked for our taste, but everything else was excellent and more than made up for it. Excellent brisket, fish n chips, and build your own burger! The garlic aioli and IPA mustard sauces were definitely memorable. Overall, it's a great spot for good food, craft beer, and a fun atmosphere located right on the pier. We'd definitely come back!

There was a wait when we got there on a Friday afternoon so we spent that time walking around, building up the anticipation of how great this place might be. Got seated. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We sat in the downstairs seating area which had big booths which easily accommodated our party of 6. Place was clean but that is where the praise ends and hence the 3 stars. We ordered multiple appetizers and a whole bunch of entrees. Out of the appetizers, only the giant onion rings were a hit and unfortunately none of the entrees hit the spot. Like for pasta, we barely touched it cause it was really soggy. The burgers somehow tasted bland. Steak & mushrooms were ok. All the hype & anticipation, grandmas came up short for us :(
