I normally don't leave reviews, but after everything I experienced with Mass Motors, I feel obligated to share my experience. For nearly two months, I was the one making phone call after phone call trying to get answers about my truck. I called so often that employees knew exactly who I was when I called, yet getting a return phone call was nearly impossible. Updates were inconsistent, communication was poor, and I constantly felt like I was chasing information that should have been provided proactively. What bothered me most was the complete lack of accountability. When concerns were raised, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Instead of taking ownership of the situation, there always seemed to be an excuse, another delay, or another reason why nobody could provide clear answers. After nearly two months in their possession, I was told the truck needed a transmission replacement costing approximately $5,000. Thankfully, I chose to get a second opinion before authorizing that repair. The second mechanic diagnosed the actual problem as a speed sensor and repaired it the same day. No transmission replacement was needed. After all that time, another shop was able to identify and fix the issue within hours. To make matters worse, additional issues were discovered after the truck was returned, including an improperly reinstalled wheel well liner, broken fasteners, and an oil leak that was not present before the truck went into their shop. These concerns were communicated to both the service department and dealership management, which is why it was frustrating to later see claims that they were never brought to anyone's attention. The most frustrating part is reading the dealership's public response and seeing statements that do not match my experience. I know how many times I called. I know the concerns that were reported. I know what was communicated to me, and I know what happened afterward. When a business cannot be honest about the facts of a situation, it becomes very difficult to trust anything else they say. The facts remain simple: my truck sat in their shop for nearly two months, I was presented with a costly repair recommendation that turned out to be unnecessary, communication throughout the process was unacceptable, additional issues were discovered after the truck was returned, and when concerns were raised, accountability was nowhere to be found. If you're facing a major repair recommendation from this dealership, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion before spending your hard-earned money. I needed a car for my family and I didn't have great credit, but mass motors was able to work with what I had and got me a great deal on a 2011 mercedes! Never thought in my life that I'd own a mercedes till mass motors showed me that anyone with a dream can achieve anything! Also want to thank the shop for they're hard work and they're fast pace, my car needed a small problem fixed and I couldn't figure out what it was, till they're shop took it in and found out what it was within 3 days! My warranty hadn't been confirmed yet but mass motors took my car in and payed for the parts and labor regardless of the circumstances. Thank you mass motors for all you do! read more

This place is horrible!! Not happy with them at all!! They sold me a lemon and lied to me about it being inspected. My mom and I both asked them if it had been inspected and they actually talked it up so much that they talked us out of the warranty on it because they said it was so reliable and that it had been thoroughly inspected and it hadn't been inspected because when I talked to the Service guy Bill, he said that he never seen that pick up go through his shop. He never worked on it. He had to look it up on Google to see what pick up it was that I bought. He never seen it before. And they lied about the clean Carfax. They said it had when we asked about a clean Carfax but it's been wrecked twice. It's had the odometer rolled back in it. The hole underneath is shot. The shocks are all shot and pretty much gone and melted. I took it to a mechanic and he said the sway bars are broken, the swaybar linkage are busted and they will not fix any of it. The right front fender and my headlight are broken and they were falling off as I was heading home from Baker from getting the vin inspection done and I could not get it registered that day because the Vin was all screwed up on it too. And they ignore every single phone call that I have made or my friends have made the mechanic has made, and they keep dodging me when it comes to me wanting to talk to the manager. He will not call me because he's too big of a chicken shit I think. And they will not rectify it and they will not make it right so I had to get an attorney so we will see where it goes from there because it is considered a lemon law in Idaho when they lie to you and screw you over like they are with me and not rectify the situation and helping me to make it better. I have seven grandchildren and I about wrecked twice and about went into the river with it with my grandchild with me they're horrible. And on top of that, the one and only time that the manager would talk to me was when I left a voicemail saying how pissed off I was and upset I was over what they had sold me and that I was paying for a $50,000 rig that I can't even drive right now because it's not safe to drive and I have to trailer it back to them And he told me he would send me a $600 check after talking to the owners to fix the front fender and the front grill that are broken and the headlight that's broken and to boot It has no dim headlights even . I went to turn my dims on and I had no dims. I have brights and fog lights that's it and it's $50,000 but they won't rectify it. They will not help me. And I haven't seen a $600 check at all and I still can't get it registered and have had to pay for extra trip permits out of my own pocket. They refuse to fix any of it and after running the vin report and it coming back saying it's been wrecked twice, repainted, odometer rolled back, none of the warranties were ever done on it, and it's been through 5 different owners where the last 2 returned it right back to mass motors after only driving it 178 miles. SKETCHY BUSINESS!!Went to go look at a truck and was 95% sure was gonna buy the truck. Until they did THREE credit pulls without consent or us saying we were wanting to move past the test drive. They said it was a "client survey" then they knew about our previous loans. They knew nothing about the truck so we had our mechanic hook up a vehicle computer to it. The previous owner didn't do a full delete the def in the truck. It's gonna cost around 6 grand to fix the half done job that can damage the truck. 2015 2500 high country bronze with move bumpers on front and rear. Don't buy unless you're gonna pay the 6 grand on top of the 46,000 for a truck with 124,000 on it already half the plugs in the truck don't work. read more

I don't ever write bad reviews, but this one takes the cake. Im a new mom and I told my husband I wanted a safer car for our child. He went to mass motors and got a great deal on a Mercedes Benz. Not even after my husband and I a day later was driving it and the car wouldn't accelerate at a higher speed on the interstate. We took it in they said they would order the part by the first of March. They also said their shop isn't open on the weekends so the car was sitting there until Monday. we got a call yesterday saying that they fixed it and they are gonna drive it for a test and we can pick it up today. My husband get there and starts driving it around. The check engine light comes on. He takes it back, the guys looks dumbfounded and says huh it didn't come on for us when we drove it. So my husband just decided to hook it up to his sensor and it says whats wrong with it. I can't explain what he said bc again I'm just a girl:) it's now back in the shop. We have a move coming up in little Less than a week. They knew this from the start so I'm not sure what prompted them not to fix the problem right the first time. Mass motors i hope and pray you get this fixed bc there isn't gonna be a next time fix. read more

Right after I picked up my rental car in Boise, a girl hit me from behind while waiting at a stop light, then drove away. I pulled over into the parking lot of this place and an employee, Anthony, came out and asked if I needed help. He saw the marks on the bumper and removed them with a spray he had. it was such an amazing and kind thing to do to help me out without taking any compensation. Caution purchasing a vehicle from M.A.S.S. Motors! My daughter was looking for a used vehicle and we ended up a M.A.S.S. Motors just to check out a car we found online. We looked over the car and decided to test drive it. It drove and seemed fine with no warning lights or issues for a used car with 78k miles. We worked with Terrence on making a deal. That's when I should have noticed the red flags. During the process of signing for the car we had a conversation about the car, he stated every car is inspected and has the oil changed before it's put on the lot. I questioned him why the car is showing 40% oil life and he stated it must not have been reset, I asked if I could have the inspection report, he stated due to being after hours he would have to get that to me the next day, he told me there should be two key fobs and he can't find the second one so he will call me when he finds it.... Crickets! We made it 40 miles before the check engine light came on! I paid for it to be inspected from a trusted mechanic, and it turned out to be something that wasn't critical or going to cause immediate damage to the vehicle but a $1000 repair and the fluids needed changed due to lack of maintenance. I have tried several attempts to contact Terrence, and he will not respond. They made every attempt to make the sale but won't support the vehicle they sold. I don't care they didn't repair the part on the car it's the fact they cleared the code so we wouldn't know about the issue! I still can't get ahold of him to find out if there even was a second key. I just caution anyone dealing with M.A.S.S. Motors for they only care about the sale, will hide issues with a car, not support you after the sale. read more

I purchased THREE cars from Mass Motors at once. Upon purchase of the first was told by MASS it would be checked out at the shop as well as detailed (as MASS had just acquired it on the lot that morning). Let's say the simple detail was completed but NO repairs were done as promised. The first car, a BMW M3 bought on July 19th and have yet to have position of it for more than SIX days, AS IT WAS SOLD TO ME WITH A BLOWN MOTOR. JOHN promised repairs (new motor) to be done or the loan to be reverted, however, John had issues with other management and cut me a check for $600 for all the issues, brought it to my work, apologized, then shortly left the company leaving SCOTT to handle it. However, the car has been in the shop THREE times within the last THREE months since and each time returned to us in the same condition with shop saying they are not equipped to handle BMW motors and MASS is refusing engine replacement promised. In THREE months we have had possession of the car for only SIX days. SCOTT will ignore all texts, ignore calls both on cell phone and business phone, having his workers claim he is in meetings for "weeks" on end, has not returned calls, and refused to give the owner my messages stating "he will not do anything or care". SO here I am with a BMW M3 sitting with a blown motor, never having gotten to drive the car, a hefty loan, ignored by Mass, and treated poorly by Scott and when I call (but offering me to come in and trade it in for a new car, JOKES!!!!). Not to mention the second car has clutch issues, and the third was told minor body damage that is now proven to be in a collision with frame damage and major issues. SCOTT and MASS do not provide ethical business, there promises are NOTHING, and the owner has NO cares or concerns for anything besides making a dollar. I bought a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. Found oit after purchase it had been wrecked to the point it has a door from a 2012 vehicle. Ive had to put 1400.00 worth of work into it, and when I told them, the mamager smiled and said they didnt know. I never would have bought a wrecked van if it had been disclosed. Im stuck now, but I hope others will be aware that this is not a reputable dealership. Do your homework, because they wont be honest. I was also offered no extended warranty of any kind that O could have purchased. read more

0 stars for this company. Poor customer service. We bought a used BMW from them, test drove it twice before purchasing and it seemed to be okay. Purchased it and the very next day the TPM light was going off, the turbo kept turning off and every time we tried calling to get this fixed they would put us on the back burner and tell us "we will call you back." It's like they cleared the codes because they knew we were coming to look at it and then once we bought there were all these problems. We finally got it into their shop and we have taken it back 5 times. It has a new issue every time we pick it up from that shop. This car doesn't even have plates on it and it has been in the shop for about a month total. This last time we brought it in on a Saturday after just picking it up the day before (they left the skid plate open and it was dragging on the road and didn't fix the previous issues... it was a nightmare just trying to get the keys to pick it up. The technician finally opens the shop to get our keys we start the car and while it's idling it randomly starts revving the engine. The technician says "it did that in the shop." The car has never done that. He then proceeds to tell us "you're lucky I even worked on your car." The fuck? Seriously the WORST experience ever. Worst technicians (if you can even call them that) still dealing with these issues. Have to get a lawyer involved because this whole company is sketchy. DO NOT PURCHASE any vehicle from them. Initially, I had a great experience when I was in with the salesmen. I bought a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. HOWEVER, I have had the car for a month and a half and just found out I need to replace the transmission which is going to cost me $4,000. We called to see if there was anything they could do and told us that we could go to one of their old sales managers shops and MAYBE get a discount. We did not purchase the warranty, however, when buying the car we were told that we were better off getting a warranty somewhere else. And I also recently learned that the warranty would have only covered basic engine and transmission issues. I am FURIOUS. I really wanted to give this place a good review but after they were unwilling to do anything to help us, I will not recommend this dealership nor will I return. For reputation purposes, I was really hoping they would have helped us out. The least they could have done was taken a look at it, they have a shop down the road. read more
