Amazing spot. Random but I learned about this place because someone was wearing their store shirt at F45 and I saw it while I was working out. I read up on previous reviews that raved about Toto and Sofia so had to give these two a try. My friend and I split both and loved them but if i had to pick the one with the pistachio pesto was my fav. At first I wasn't sure what to expect but YUMMMM and the portion is huge! They have a small seating area in the back and it wasn't too hard to get a table. For dessert we also shared a bavarian creme bombolone and that was really good too, not too sweet and not too much cream either, perfect balance! We make it a point to stop by M'ama Napoli when we're in the area, we've been there 4 times now and the food is always amazing and consistent! We ate lunch elsewhere but stopped by for a coffee and their bombolones which are to die for! The donut is a soft and doughy texture that almost melts in your mouth. We've gotten their Sofia and Toto sandwiches before as well, the bread and ingredients are so fresh and tasty. The Totó stands alone, reigning supreme atop the mountains of other mediocre sandwiches I've had to suffer to get to this GOAT. Glorious in its freshness, simplicity, and flavorful perfection. I needed to visit a print shop next door for a work project. So, I had to get myself a little treat on the way out. I ordered the large pistachio cappuccino and a pastry. All I can say is this deli is the real deal. The space is tiny and parking is as challenging yet worth every bit of effort to get the focaccia Sofia. The bread was so airy , light and fresh made in front of you with fresh mortadella,burrata, pistachio pesto sauce and basil that every ingredient compliments every bite ! The staff is anazing and the place stays busy either locals grabbing freshly crafted coffees and lattes along with the delicious italian cookies and pastries! Mama Napoli is my new go to for sandwiches. They've been open for a little bit and I wish I had found out about them sooner. Disclaimer, I had only found out about them through a Yelp Elite event that I went to. However, the small sample I had from them was so good, I had to go try it out myself. I'm going to sound very uncultured and uneducated for about couple of lines. I kinda roughly knew that Neapolitan described a type of Italian style of food. Really that Neapolitan ice cream is strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla and that Neapolitan pizza meant open face tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella balls and fresh basil leaves. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge. So with a little bit of research and Googling, I found out that Neapolitan cuisine is cuisine from Naples, Italy. I think every time a culture crosses the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean and lands in America, it almost somehow goes through some kind of Americanization that changes how people perceive it. Anyway, the store is relatively small but parking isn't too hard. They have some tables inside to eat there. They even have some ingredients and snacks for purchase. The owners are very nice and welcoming. I got the Toto, which is prosciutto, shaved parmesan, mozzarella, arugula, olive oil, and tomatoes on in-house made focaccia. It was $14 and a huge sandwich. They brought it fresh to me and I got a pistachio espresso to go with it. Insanely delicious and great price for all that food. The sandwich was a 10/10 for me. The pistachio espresso was a 9/10. The inside is small and they have a selection of pastries and a deli. The two girls working in the front were so sweet and helpful. I ended up getting the small Nutella cannoli. This year, my kids and I started a bleary-eyed, 6am tradition of waking up on school days, being some of the first out on the road, and then driving to explore new bakeries in this wonderful foodie home we call Orlando. Well, this week, M'ama Napoli was on our list. And here's the truth, it's probably our favorite and it's probably going to stay there for a while. First off, my children had the Nutella croissants and Nutella bombelinos, which are like a small cross between a beneigt and a donut. I tried both and they were stellar. The caramel espresso latte my daughter ordered is still considered her favorite coffee yet here in Orlando. Then the owner, who speaks little English, because he's actually 100% Italian, gave me a piece of focaccia bread, coated in their homemade pistachio butter, with a thin slice of mortadella, and in the words of my 5-year-old son, "That's fire!" I've been back since and purchased those ingredients to make that snack at home myself. And it's still amazing. So let's be clear. This place isn't fake. This place isn't a chain. This place is 1,000% legitimate Italian. It's quiet. Sort of hidden in plain sight on Mills and Orange, and it's staying at the top of our favorite bakery list for a while. read more

This Italian gem has been on my list for a while. Today was the day! It's a small place right on S. Orlando across the street from Agave Azul in Winter Park. It's a bakery serving delicious bombolone, cornetto (Italian croissant) both filled with either Nutella, pistachio or Bavarian cream. They have the most amazing focaccia, soft, pillowy & chewy. It was topped with mortadella & pistachio, unreal! The almond cornetto tastes like no other with real almond flavor, shatters as I bit into it, buttery and divine! The cappuccino is so good. It is creamy and rich. To go I bought cannolis & they were a perfect after dinner delight. They also have Italian cured meats & cheeses. Prosciutto, mortadella, salami & soppressata. Fresh mozzarella, burrata & parm. The service is friendly, informative and helpful. There is Italian products like olive oils, gnocchi, pasta, pesto, Italian cookies, pistachio & Nutella spreads. Stopped by this afternoon after being influenced. It seems a lot of people may have been influenced as they were sold out of almost everything by the time we got there. There was also a huge line of people waiting for their orders. The person who greeted us walked us through the remaining items for the day. We opted for a Nutella Bombolone which is basically a Nutella stuffed donut. M'ama Napoli takes the word "stuffed" literally as our donut was overflowing with Nutella. I like Nutella, but I think it took away from the actual donut they made which was also good. I would like to be able to try one of their pizzas one day. Stopped in this weekend, wanted to get a sandwich but at 2pm they were out of everything except some desserts. I'm not sure if that is typical, but it felt like it wasn't based on the candor of the employee at the register. She did try and make up for it with the most Nutella ever inside our bombalone. If you're looking for an Italian sandwich or pastry, THIS is the place. We ordered the Sofia, the Ischia, a maritozzi, and a delizia al umone, along with an iced Nutella cappuccino. The best: the Sofia and maritozzi. The focaccia on the Sofia is pillowy soft and buttery. The pistachio pesto puts the sandwich over the top and the fresh burrata just brings it home. Definitely a top 3 sandwich in Orlando. The maritozzi is also the best I've had anywhere. The brioche was soft and spongey and plenty of cream that doesn't just fall out when you eat it. This doesn't take away from the Ischia or the Simone. The Ischia is simple. Ham and Swiss on bread. But this is always my go to at home and this is the best version around. The Delizia Al Umone was also to die for. Extremely soft sponge, a sweet and tart lemon mousse covered in a lemon frosting. If you like lemon, you will love this. And the coffee was good as well. The customer service was absolutely fantastic as worth the food park around back and they have a dedicated lot in a rear entrance if you want to sit at the counter and have a solo coffee break while overlooking Orlando Avenue and people watch you can do so, but they also have booths where you can enjoy lunch and some coffee while having a day date they offer a small assortment of imported in authentic Italian groceries and the sandwiches are outstanding and like nothing I've ever tasted before. One of the cutest, most authentic, little Italian market/deli spots on this side of town. I'm usually here on the weekends to get a Nutella cappuccino and some sort of croissant (love the pistachio one because the pistachio cream is FANTASTIC). Last time I came by, they did have some off menu offerings (Arancini in a few different flavors). I think the Sofia sandwich is absolute perfection! The service was kind and helped my partner decide between a few options. They have limited seating, but we didn't have a problem getting a spot at one of the booths.
