We were full but ordered dinner anyways. My daughter had spicy vodka pasta and crispy chicken and loved it. Jess had chicken limone and also loved it. I had chicken parm (of course) and it was good. This place was absolutely awful, and I don't know how people like it. For context, I went here in 2023 with my dad and stepmom for a meal before the Mario movie. We sat down, and once we were given our drinks, it became awful. The water was horrible. How the hell do you even mess water up?! The food was the same quality too. It's been a while since I dined in here at Bar Italia and this experience was 10/10. We started off with the fritti misto. I'm always a sucker for calamari. I LOVED that this was served with shrimp AND calamari. The crisp was perfection. I loved the sauces that it was paired with as well- I believe it was marinara and aoli. For my main, I ordered the chicken limone. I loved that they added a small portion of pasta with the chicken limone. The creamy lemon sauce was the perfect balance. The last time I was here, it was only served with arugula, so this was a lovely touch. The service was quick and the ambiance was very chill, dimly lit, and the bar area had sports playing on the TVs. Perfect for a girls night, date night, or a birthday dinner. For our entree, we got the rustic bread with whipped ricotta. The bead was fresh and I loved the olive oil and cheese. I do wish the olive oil was served in a more shallow dish to make it easier to dip the bread and get the herbs without drowning in oil. For my entree, I got the mushroom bianco pizza. It was crisp, cheesy, and savory with a good balance of toppings. My boyfriend got the spaghetti bolognese and loved it. While the food was nice, service was very slow. This has been a pattern in my experiences at Bar Italia. I wonder if they are chronically understaffed. Our wait was so long, the manager offered us a free desert. Made a reservation for 5:30, ended up getting there a little early. We were sat immediately, sadly we didn't realize happy hour did not extend into the restaurant and was only on the patio. We enjoyed an old fashion and dirty martini. The old fashion was a little too sweet for my boyfriend. The food was delish. Bread service ($6), lasagna and the seasonal creamy lemon pasta. Don't know that we needed bread when it already came with the pasta but super yummy from a local bakery. Our server, can't remember his name, a red haired man, seemed a little off. I made reservations at Bar Italia for a birthday celebration. Once I arrived I was greeted by a friendly hostess who sat me down. The vibe was nice inside, it was dimly lit with candlelight on the table. For an appetizer we ordered the bread with ricotta and some $8 martinis that were made with tequila (sorry I forgot the name of them). The ricotta was airy, whipped, and paired well with the bread it was served on. The martini's were delicious and for $8 a steal, they had the perfect balance of liquor and sweetness. For entrees we ordered from the menu insert, I got the Bucatini with Braised Ribs, Sausage and my friend ordered a Lemon Chicken with salad and Pasta. Both entrees had big portions which was nice and I was able to bring leftovers home. The bucatini was flavorful with tons of meat. The chicken dish was so tender I could cut the chicken with just a fork. For dessert we ordered the Hazelnut Chocolate Cake with a scoop of ice cream. The cake was warm as well as moist. The nuts on top gave the cake a nice texture. Our meal was perfection and the only complaint I had was that it was a little too dark in the dining room but food and service were amazing. read more

I definitely would say that I would favor the drinks they have to offer and thought it was really nice that they had a Valentine's Day menu for all the families and couples that visited their franchise. Served in a garlicky olive oil pesto sauce and garnished with zucchini and sun-dried tomatoes, it was quite tasty. I thought $18 was slightly on the high side for the portion size. I really wanted to love Bar Italia, but I'm not sure I'm quite sold on it! We came here with family on a weekend and did have a reservation. There was seating available both inside and outside on a covered patio. We had a bit of a larger group, and there were three infants with us all with strollers. Our table (and the restaurant in general, was not stroller friendly in terms of space available but we made it work. The service was great, our waiter was extremely friendly and was able to answer any questions we had regarding the menu. Our food came out quickly and all made to order. The food is where I feel like it missed the spot, maybe we just ordered the wrong things but we weren't extremely impressed. I felt like for the price of the items, we should have been blown away but it truthfully wasn't anything special. We had ordered the bread and zucchini fries as appetizers and they were both okay. I got a salad and my husband got the lasagna. As a main course I was shocked with how small the salad was. Others at the table ordered salads and we all got chicken on it. The chicken amount for each salad was very inconsistent. My husband husband commented on how the lasagna was "just okay" and left more to be desired. Again the portioning was small and the taste just wasn't there for us. I do want to come back and try it again as we have heard such great things about Bar Italia and do really want to love it! Cocktails were delicious. I had an old-fashioned, and my lunchmates had an espresso martini, and a Bellini. The espresso martini was perfectly crafted, and my hat goes off to the bartender!! Entrees include a Chicken Limone dish that was crispy, lemony and well balanced with just the right amount of pasta and arugula. We also had a pizza, half margarita and half pepperoni. Thin crust, just like my lunchmate likes it. I opted for the Italian wedding soup with crusty bread. The bread was actually the stand out on this entrée. I was a little disappointed in the fact that everything that I wanted on the menu had something spicy attached to it, and there was nothing they could do to remove the peppers. That's the only reason I went with the soup. I probably would not recommend that entrée. It was a little bit watered down, but had plenty of vegetables. No mention was made of an extra charge. I was given what I requested but charged for an extra side. On a previous experience, we were charged for two separate items at full price when we had ordered the combo of the same two items at a combo price. I have supported this business since its opening but rethinking if I will return. Be upfront about what are you are charging your customers. I will say first and foremost, the customer service was amazing but ultimately the dining experience was regrettable. I started of with the short rib arancini and it was bland and almost zero short rib. The server was super attentive and she took it away. I decided to get the Caesar salad with the salmon as an added protein and my companion decided on the tuna tartare. Things took a turn for the worst at this point. The tuna tartare should have never left the kitchen and made it to our table. It was grey in color and visibly unsuitable to be served or consumed. Then for my salad, the salmon was very under cooked. When the server came to check on us she immediately recognized the problem and rushed to get things corrected. The manager came by and was deeply apologetic and very kind. He comped us a round of drinks and we decided to make one more attempt at a meal. We both ordered pepperoni pizza and we also had an order of the zucchini fritti. Those selections were satisfactory but at this point I was just famished and wanted to eat and not send anything back to the kitchen. In conclusion, the manager and the server were fantastic but being served food that could've made us ill is not an experience I would return for. read more
