I come to M&A Nails often to get my nails and hair done and the service gets better and better each time. The employees are caring and kind towards their customers and the two business owners always go out of their way to provide the best service for them. The employees pay great attention to their customers and do their jobs with great care. I had an appointment for my nails, hair, and makeup for my prom day and I looked amazing! Thank you for everything, M&A Nails!!

Wow!!! I had the best experience! I came here because my daughter wanted to do something special for her birthday and she wanted to go to a nice place to do her nails with her cousin and friend. I called and the booking process was really smooth and easy. I got text reminders before the appointment. When we got there I was so surprised to see they had a cupcake and small balloon for my daughter!!! And they went all out for her making her feel special. They also put stickers on the girls as complimentary and didn't charge extra.. I'm so happy we chose this place. Also, my nails were completely in bad shape before, and I was kind of concerned doing gel over it, but I decided to do gel at the same time. And it came out amazing! I went to a lot of places before and this was by far the best place I've been to. I really recommend. Thank you for taking the time to go extra!

Walked in on a whim looking for a manicure and pedi but the team helped me repair my nail beds and applied a beautiful set for me. I'm a chronic nail biter and tend to be too embarrassed to get my nails done because of the damage to them. Allah did a beautiful job to clean up my cuticles and even did an amazing nail design for me. I will be back next month for sure. Thank you!

I really wanted to like this salon but nope! First of all they don't have enough workers yet claim walk ins are welcome (but then tell people when they walk in it's by appointment only ) And second of all and most importantly their employees don't know what they're doing and their products are garbage! My mom and I booked two pedis and two gel manis for my Moms birthday. The pedicures were good but the person who did mine (didn't get her name because she spoke maybe 5 words the whole time), TOOK FOREVERRRR with the polish application. I mean 20 minutes too long. Same woman did my gel, and it was the same issue, way to long. And messy. She wore rubber gloves and when she would clean the gel off of my skin it would get on the gloves and then proceed to get all over me. she also files WAY too much and irritated my skin. She also doesn't respond when people flinch or pull back. NOW TO MY MOMS. I believe the owner did her gel mani and it was GARBAGE. She cut my mom and now it's inflamed and sore. One of her nails peeled and chipped TWO DAYS after and several other nails chipped at the tips. Maybe hire actual licensed nail techs and let them do what they are trained to do. We went back on Wednesday to have it fixed. The guy fixed it and then proceeded to add another coat of polish over all of the nails despite if it needed it or not... AND THIS MORNING POLISH IS LIFTING. Perhaps invest in higher quality products and offer your clients more of a selection.

French tip uneven Nail shape uneven Fill? What till?

Contemplated on leaving this review, but its only fair and right. I went in for a fill and a nail fix. Upon sitting on the chair, management and nail tech start going at it because she(nail tech) doesn't feel confident in doing my nails. Instead of advising so and letting me go, management states she can do it, but to make sure she will try one nail and see. After one nail she proceeded to do the rest. I allowed it, thought she could take on the task of acrylic fill and fix. Once it came to my broken nail, she briefly removed what was broken by shaving it down and adding a nail on top. Horrible fix, but continue as along the way I kept telling her what is wrong, what I don't like. Bless her soul, as she kept trying to fix it, but there was barely any betterment. Still holding faith she can make end product look well, I learned a valuable lesson that day. I did not complain and I did not fight the full charges of $63 despite being done terribly and nail tech also advising management $63 was too much. But management proceeded to state it was a fill, it was French tip (look at the photos for the "French tip") and fix. Well after 2 hours, I paid for the service, but I will never be back and I would advise if you are heading in for nails to rethink and look elsewhere. -nails shaped uneven -nail length uneven -fix nail was doubled on instead of full removal of old acrylic -nail paint job terrible -chunky nails -acrylic fill not done correctly I did go get them redone else where 2 days later. I will attach pictures of those nails

I got the funny bunny white I believe with golden add-ons. Looks like real gold. I love it.

I had last minute walked in and they did a wonderful job. All the staffs were really helpful and friendly. My technician made sure I liked my nails. I believe the manager or boss of the place was very nice and helpful. As a indecisive person, I asked for her recommendation and she showed me which one would I prefer. I tried out something new. I definitely would recommend this place to people. It was my first time there and I had a great experience and definitely would be back.

I thought I would give them a try since it was really close to my house. I went in at 12pm for mani/pedi and I didn't leave until 1:45pm. The girl (Adriana) doing my nails was really nice. I brought my own polish and it was broken on accident so I had to use one of the polishes there. I picked a hot pink but It was really dry, leaving my nails looking clumpy and old. The lady that polished my nails, I believe was Rosie. She was telling me all polishes are new. Yeahhhh. I don't think so. I can do a better job polishing my own nails. I complained to the nail girl and she said she would re-paint them but I was short with time. Also, Rosie kept pulling her mask down. I was uncomfortable with that. Such a waste of my $45. The place is clean and organized. There is plenty of parking. Unfortunately, I won't return due to my bad experience.

0 STARS! after calling 20 minutes prior and confirming an threading appointment for Lip, once i arrive i was stopped at the door and asked what service was i there for then denied service. i was not at all rude nor harsh but calm. i believe it was because of my skin color. the woman with fare skin and blonde hair says involuntary that they are not racist! LOL this establishment is DEFINITELY AGAINST SERVICING PEOPLE OF ANY COLOR EXCEPT THEIR'S. how do you mix up a lip threading appointment with gel manicure after CONFIRMING the lip threading appointment over the phone? BUT once my skin color was made known to you, you deny me service? cool. on top of half of the staff available for a wide range of services

This place is very clean and my new favorite nail salon in the valley. It's never too crowded and the service is always great. The young lady at the front desk, the owner Ana, and John (who I request for pedicure) are all so professional and kind. They also have really good music videos playing on TV which is much better than a movie IMO. The prices are reasonable and they seem to be a full service salon. I highly recommend this place and I'll try to post my nails the next time I go. Update: I just got my nails done by Liliana and I absolutely love it. It's gel manicure and I'm delivering boy girl twins! She took her time and it's just perfect.

I was really happy with the service and with my nails. I got a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure, for $40 and callus treatment for $10. The prices are very fair, especially with their 10% check in offer. I paid less than $50 for everything before tip. I brought my bf's mom with me for a girls day. Jon did her nails and did a very good job, while Nancy did mine. We were both happy with the results :) Its been a little over 2 weeks since and my gel nails still look great! I'll definitely be back to get my nails done here. The inside is decorated very nicely and they have massage chairs you can use while you get your pedicure. TVs are playing music videos for your enjoyment. Owner Ana is very nice and so are her employees. Rem was such a sweetheart as she offered tea or water while we got our nails done. Will be back :)

The service here is amazing. I love coming here. I always feel welcomed. When I come here I truly feel like they take care of all my needs from threading to hair to amazing nails! The owner, Ana, always makes me feel at home. The quality of the work they do at this salon is over the top! Any design or any hair style I ask for it's without a question they can do! The prices are great. And the salon is beautiful! I started coming here a year ago when they first opened and now they are so busy I have to make sure to pre book because they are that amazing! They are so unprofessional I walk-in in and the lady to do my nails hurry up and ran out the door and said I'm leaving then then lady at the front was on the phone not even acknowledging that she has people waiting in the front right in front of her face then they close at 8:00 I got there around 6:30 and she told me no one can service me and that they was closing and there were people waiting to get there service done never in a million years will I go back or recommend anyone to go there very rude read more

I do not reco this place. I went in on a whim and they took over 3 hours to do a mani/pedi. The woman cut my toe and too far down on one of my fingers. Then she put callous remover all the way up onto my ankle which cause it to bleed and become horribly irritated and is now all scabbed up. It was the worst experience to be honest and I would not return. read more

This place was the biggest disappointment. This is for something that happened a few months back but was reminded of it because I had a friend who considered going here. I called a day ahead to make an appointment for acrylic nail removal, the day of my appointment came and I had unfortunately missed my time due to personal circumstances but since it was close by I decided to stop by to see if they could still accommodate. The app girl in the front seemed hesitant at first but went to ask anyways, she comes back and walks me to a chair. I noticed IMMEDIATELY one of the girls who I was probably booked with had a major attitude. I got placed with a guy (who probably isn't licensed) who was going to remove my nails and was seated next to the girl with the attitude. Quickly I found it she indeed was supposed to do my nails and immediately started scolding me like a damn child talking about how "next time if you need to book an appointment it's important not to miss or call because that's how you get black listed and it's not fair to me when someone doesn't show up and then I have another client cancel so I'm sitting here for 2 hrs until the next one shows up" I let her talk for the most part because she was clearly upset about who knows what prior and wanted to project that on me, it didn't work. I went on to explain that it is my FIRST TIME THERE, and I had only made the appointment YESTERDAY and that I indeed did try to call but I couldn't get through and that schedules can conflict. She didn't like that and just went on to repeating the same thing over & over trying to cut me off. Mind you there was NO CUSTOMERS in the place! It wasn't until after she started to pipe down someone walked in. If it wasn't for the guy already cutting my nails off I would've walked out. She was extremely rude and there's a way to talk to customers especially if it's their first time and no policy/rules were ever mentioned. I understand time is valuable but you're not going to sit here and scold me about you waiting for clients to come in especially when I did call prior and asked if I could still be seen. If there was such an issue she could've said no and to come back. Such a shame since this looked promising but her bad attitude ruined that. That kind of behavior ends up being bad for business. Also- the guy who worked on my nail, was kind and all but he over buffed my pinky nail which caused it to be painful and super sensitive for a few weeks. Just think before you call here. read more

I've been looking for a new, semi quiet nail salon place to try out, and I've found the one. I came across M&A nails today, this morning and decided to give it a try. I was debating whether or not to get acrylic nails, so I'd figured I'd ask. I called the salon around 9, thinking they might be open or it was a cell phone - not, it's a land line, so if you're looking for asking questions MEANWHILE they are closed, don't. -- unless you don't mind a wait. I got called back as soon as they opened, which was a surprise to me, asked if they had anything available today, and they did. I rushed over there as fast as I could. At first glance, the store was very pretty. Everything had a "organized, yet relaxed" setting to it. The strawberry - red haired owner was super polite and understanding. She knew who I was, as well as answered all the questions I had, and recommended some things. After that, she motioned over to the rack of nail polishes to pick out a color, then over to the spa. Who did my Pedicure, was Lyn, amazingly nice and made sure I was comfortable with my seating arrangement. The entire process was amazing as to how she took her time. In the course of this, Sarita did my manicure, who is a sweetheart. She also took her time with my nails, even asked around the other nail artists if they could give me a design I was looking for - which ended up being a simple task for Maria, who satisfied my looking for a design. Sarita and Lyn took the time to get to know me, which makes it even more memorable at this place. I also ended up getting an eyebrow waxing, which Lyn took hold of the task to do, and it came out amazing! Overall, I rate this place 5/5. The cost for this, was smaller than I expected it to be. I will definitely be coming back, and I will definitely be coming back with these specific nail artists, Lyn, Sarita, and Maria. Thank you, M&A, for your wonderful artists and customer service. read more

I promised the owner I wouldn't give a bad review even though I got there at five hoping to get a pedicure and acrylic nails with a really cute design but I left at 8:30 PM with acrylic nails I did not want and that are already kind of looking like crap and no pedicure. Do not come here if you want really cute acrylic nails done ! Sorry I had to tell the truth but now here's the best part and the reason why I'm actually giving them five stars..... my hands looked horrible from biting and working with my hands and even though she's not good at acrylic nails she did an amazing manicure really helped and my hands do look really great ! honestly it was two years of dead nasty cuticle and grossness. So she did a really good job cleaning that up that is for sure! Come here for a basic manicure no acrylic nails or no cute designs just come here for the basic regular high-quality friendly service. I do o have to say they had a good attitude that's the only reason why I'm giving them five stars they stayed late and didn't give me attitude and was nice about everything even though it kind of was a lack of communication . these people are really good at accommodating you and not making you feel like you're crazy for wanting that design that they can't do like some salons. and if it was under different circumstances I wouldn't of cared but they do have a very nice clean salon a lot of choices in colors for basic manicure pedicure seriously come here for everything but cute acrylic design' Also this woman named Nelly and she does hair I do not personally know how good she is but she seem like she knew what she was doing and was very nice as well all very nice just you know sometimes we don't always get what we want but thank you so much for your amazing service and attitude read more

I wish I had my $75 refunded I went 3 times to get my full set fixed I loved the nail tech she was really nice but if I'm paying $75 for a full set that did not have a design or anything worth the price tag then I'm not having any of it my nails fell off after getting them fixed horrible never had that happen waste of money. Came in for a last minute appointment. They were pretty accommodating it being that I came with short notice. The place is really cute and clean. Receptionist was welcoming. I could be wrong, since I'm bad with names, but I believe James is the one who took care of me, and he did a phenomenal job. He was the most welcoming, and friendliest person. Conversation flowed nicely, he made me feel comfortable. My gel mani was great too, top notch. Nice and clean. It is a shame that I am not from the area otherwise I would go to him for all my manicure needs! I truly recommend the place and him. Thank you so much once again! read more

I got booked to get a gel manicure with Lilit and she cut me MULTIPLE times. When I came in, she didn't even greet me or ask me any questions about what I wanted. She barely acknowledged that I was there and didn't even apologize at the end when she made my fingers bleed. Worst nail technician and experience I've ever had. read more

It was my first time here and I was really excited from reading all the reviews. It's impossible to find a good nail salon and I'll never get to experience that based on the poor customer service I received from Maria. I made an appointment for a fill, not knowing what I really needed was a full set. I overheard her how she was ready to go home and I believe she didn't have a lunch break. I was her last appointment, and she approached me with an unwelcoming attitude. I showed her a picture and she told me that would require a full set and I booked a fill. She offered me to reschedule but by her tone of voice and lack of hospitality, I got up and paid for only my pedicure (Which I asked for a French Tip and it was the tiniest white line, I've never received a French tip like unless I was in NY). Her crappy attitude and willingness to let me walk out when my nails desperately needed attention is the reason for my 1 star rating. My appointment was at 7PM and they closed at 8PM. She could've easily accommodated me and chose not to because she wanted to go home. If you don't want to work late, I suggest you change your closing times to an earlier hour or don't take later appointments. read more

Was hoping this place would be good but unfortunately I was disappointed..It took nearly two hours for a regular gel manicure that should've taken 45 mins normally. I went in wanting French tips but realised that was going to add another hour so gave up on that. I asked the technician to not reduce my length and she didn't understand and shortened my nails right back down. I'm not a difficult client when it comes to nails but this was kind of ridiculous. I asked the lady on reception for someone good and I was clearly given someone who is slow, she was nice but that's just way too long. read more

This place is kind of a hidden gem in the valley. I got sick of driving so far to get a good manicure, and now I am so glad I found this place! Staff is very friendly, I got a same day appointment after messaging the owner on Yelp. She responded fairly quickly. The woman who did my nails, Marina, seemed a little inexperienced at first, but she did one of the best manicures I've had! She didn't cut my skin and she made sure that every nail looked on point! I'm a perfectionist and have tried a million places in the Valley. I've been to Lena three times now and she is absolutely the best manicurist I've ever had. No. Joke. I originally didn't want to leave a review but I think Its necessary. I was there not too long ago I went with my mom and my sister to get pedicures, everything was okay during our visit. But what happen after I am definitely not okay with. My mom and I needed up getting fungus in our Toes after going here. It seems like they might not be cleaning their pedicure area really good. I have never in my life gotten any fungus up into now and I swear it's a horrible feeling to have. My mom and i haven't been able to get our toes done because of this issue. This was my first time coming/trying M&A nails and I was super excited because I had seen great pictures/reviews. When I first got there they weren't overly friendly, but I had made an appointment through Yelp for anyone (still not sure who my nail tech was) but they sat me right down and got started. I wanted a new full set of gel nails. I have a super high pain tolerance, and when I tell you she hurt my nails, I bled 4 different times and walked out with every finger except my thumbs having cuts on them. I have 2 tattoos and truly believe that getting a tattoo felt better than what she was doing to my nails. I flinched many times and all she would say is 'Relax'. My nails turned out good, but definitely not worth the pain I went through and they made me pay $50 dollars for. I made this review and in a matter of 10 minutes the manager and responded, messaged me, and refunded me my money for. Love the fact that they had matching polishes to the gel colors. Prices are cheaper then some of the not so nice salons. Noticed they offer threading, hair and makeup services as well. This was probably the strangest eyebrow threading experience I've had…read more I stopped in for a quick eyebrow threading and tint. The younger employee who was helping me was kind, but while I was trying to explain what I wanted, an older woman repeatedly talked over me so the younger employee couldn't even hear me. It came across as incredibly rude and unprofessional. I don't know why some people think it's acceptable to speak over their employees like that, especially in front of customers. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere from the very beginning. After I had to move my car, I came back and asked if I could use the restroom before my appointment. I was told they don't have a restroom for customers, so I said I would cancel the tint and just do the threading because I needed to leave sooner. Only after I said I wanted to cancel the tint did they suddenly tell me I could use the neighboring business's restroom if I told them I came from their salon. At that point it was the principle of the matter. If you're unwilling to accommodate customers until they're about to cancel a service, it doesn't leave a great impression. Even after I explained I wanted to cancel the tint, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted to keep it anyway. I finally had to say I was ready to check out because I was becoming uncomfortable. The threading itself was okay overall, although the left eyebrow was noticeably more painful than the right. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that the older woman stood there watching the younger employee perform the entire service. Instead of allowing the technician to work independently, she hovered over her the whole time, making it feel like I was sitting in the middle of a training evaluation rather than enjoying a relaxing appointment. Getting your eyebrows done should be a pleasant experience. Instead, the atmosphere felt tense, uncomfortable, and unnecessarily stressful. She also had the audacity to ask me out of nowhere if I had cash or only a card for no benefit to myself. Only a card you're welcome for the payment. I have cash but not for you. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. One other thing that stood out: I arrived around 4:30 PM, and the business advertises that it's open until 7:30 PM. When I first came in, I also asked about getting a brow lamination, but I was told I had to make an appointment in advance. That's perfectly fine if that's their policy. However, when I left, there were no customers in the salon and both technicians were available. One of them even asked if I wanted to schedule a lamination appointment, but by that point I declined. I came in ready to pay for threading, a tint, and a brow lamination, but because of the overall experience, I ended up getting only the threading. That's a completely preventable loss of business and an unfortunate example of customer service driving away a paying customer. UPDATE: To the terrible manager Raman who responded below. I see why the service is the way it is. What part of talking over a customer don't you understand? Is it reading minds or talking over customers the only two options to you and your unprofessionalism? Yes, I was told there was free parking in the back. I moved my car to the back and there was no open parking in your spots and I told you all that, you twit. So what's your point aside from showing your aggressive temper with baseless retaliatory points as a "manager?" And who said I felt pain in my upper lip? You need to take a breather lol. Your response below says a lot about you and you as a representative of this establishment.

OMG ! I found my new location ! Everyone in the salon seems chill. but my technicians Kelly and John were fabulous ! Kelly has done my set of nails a couple times now. Kelly's nails seem to never want to come off... I use to be able to rip off my nails one by one without any problems or pain. I tried to do the same thing with the work Kelly has done on me, and I had to just stop, they are really attached, so now I just go to Kelly to soak them off when they are needed.
