It's quite a difficult feat shopping for diamonds, especially in the Los Angeles "diamond district" since there's an overwhelming number of stores to choose from. Well look no further as M&D is the only place you need to visit! I have a very specific design in mind which turns out to be quite rare and costly (darn my expensive taste!). I've browsed many local stores but the design that I want (emerald cut infinity band) is simply not available. I've found some from online retailers but their pricing is in the 5 digits and/or is too large for my finger. So off to the diamond district I go. Unlike the other jewelers I've met, Moji, the store's owner, understood my vision and is more comfortable/onboard with my design. I believe this has to do with her being a female and is closer to my age than the older gentlemen I've met that kept pushing me towards a more traditional design of round stones. Moji was very excited talking about the design, stating that it's a very "rockstar/celebrity" style which reassured me that I've made the right decision and that I've found the right jeweler for the job. The next step was to select the stones. Moji seems to be well connected as she was able to secure several batches of stones for us to look at during the several hours that we were at her store whereas other stores do not have this type of stone readily available. Her wholesaler gave her great pricing on the stones and the savings was eventually passed down to us. Moji easily beat the other stores' pricing while providing us with equally impressive diamonds. Less than 3 weeks later I just received the product in the mail and I'm beyond impressed at the results! The band is everything I was hoping for and more! There's not enough positive adjectives to describe how happy I feel about the band! It's truly breathtaking! Aside from the amazing jewelry production, M&D also provides amazing service through Moji and Bob. I figured that shopping for diamonds would be the same as shopping for cars: having to deal with pushy sales people whose job is to up-sell. Not once during our hours long consultation did I ever feel pressured by Moji or Bob on anything! We spent a lot of time chatting and making jokes. Overall my fiance and I had such a wonderful experience working with Moji and Bob. I discovered M&D Jewelry during the height of the pandemic when everything was shut down and I could only shop online. They had on IG page and I immediately became a follower. I loved to watch Moji's stories because she would advertise the most beautiful jewelry. Anytime I would ask a question about any of her jewelry, she would immediately answer me. I found this to be so rare because there have been countless times where I have asked other jewelers questions online with no response at all. My first purchase was a cute and simple paperclip necklace that was very affordable and that I still wear today. I also purchased a pair of cute huggie pave earrings. Ever since then, I became a loyal fan. Fast forward two years later and I've purchased about four more jewelry pieces. Recently they advertised a 40% off sale with an additional 10% and this deal was just too good to pass up. I immediately messaged Moji on IG about some pieces I was interested in and within minutes she responded. I felt like I was messaging a friend because she was so nice and helpful. Of course, being the jewelry fanatic that I am, I couldn't just buy one piece of jewelry. I ended up buying the most beautiful pave signet ring (my favorite), trio cluster diamond earrings, a Cuban ring with a bezel center diamond and a pave double row diamond ring. The transaction took all of 15 minutes and get this, I received them in the mail the very next day in less than 24 hours! I was just amazed at the level of service I received from an online sale and the best part was when I saw my jewelry....I was just blown away! They were even more beautiful in person than in pictures! I haven't taken any of my jewelry off since I've gotten them and don't plan to ever! I smile every time I see them. The quality and trendy design of their jewelry is simply indescribable. I've purchased a lot of jewelry online from Etsy, only to be disappointed with the quality or appearance but this has never happened to me with the jewelry that I've purchased from M&D.
