I dreaded taking my car in when I found that someone had dinged my passenger-side door, so that the door made a scraping sound every time it was opened or closed. I had just had the front end of my car replaced from another collision, and it cost me a few thousand dollars. My old body shop had closed down, and I jumped on Yelp to see what I could find in the neighborhood. M&M came up with consistently high ratings, so I took the car in for an initial look. They walked around the car, saw the problem, and said that I could check back in after a couple of hours. They also said that if I wanted, they could have their neighboring mechanic check out a mechanical problem for me during the same time-line. I thought that I would be receiving an estimate (probably thousands of dollars again...) after the two hours, with another estimate for the mechanical problem. But when I called, they said I could come in and get the car... my door problem was fixed for $120. And the mechanic said that the issue we wondered about was not an urgent problem and could be attended to at some later date. The place is modest in size and not fancy, but they are friendly, thoughtful, work with integrity and charge a very reasonable cost. I recommend them wholeheartedly. read more

I went through a very difficult situation with my insurance, mass delays of parts due to COVID. Vaed was super helpful and supportive through the entire process. This is family owned and the owner treated my partner and I like family-working with us through the obstacles. He checked on the parts, ordered a certain door that I wanted (one without a window). Having car issues, dealing with insurance companies for months, owning a business relying on the car and managing rentals, and enduring most of this during the holidays and atmospheric storms was mentally arduous for me but the support and notion the work was being handled by someone knowledgeable and trustworthy helped tremendously. The body work, new door installation, and paint was flawless, really made the banged up care look quite alright after all. (sigh of relief) I'm grateful! Please check out the shop and support businesses that do good! Thank you! My catalytic convertor had also been stolen so after the work was finished, I then took the car to a catalytic convertor place and got that replaced--there is one 5 minutes away from M&M away and the owner could vouch for it. Its called Pele's Muffler Works (5 stars) -- the ladies there were prompt and efficient, and kind- work was done in 12 hours. I also got some anti-theft bars for $200. read more

I never had such good service from any car service shop. I had some minor scratches on my car. The first time I brought the car to M&M, Vahe spent half an hour to clean up black spots and used paint thinner to make some of the scratches go away. For some of the deeper scratches he advised me to go get touch up paint from the dealer. He refused to take any payment from me. I got the paint from the dealer and Vahe took me right away and applied the paint. My main concern was to prevent the metal exposed from rusting. Instead of spending thousands to have a perfect replacement, Vahe helped me solved the problem with no cost. These are really honest, competent and customer loving folks. read more

I took my care for repair several weeks ago. Owner "Akbar agha" was very nice, helpful, and expert in the field. He gave me estimate and what I could do to reduce the expense, and get best result. He repaired my car exchanging few parts, which cost way less than I expected, or had estimate from another repair shops nearby. Most important, I did not have to leave my car overnight at the shop. It was really fast, and my car looked like new, completely fixed inside and out. I am very happy with the result. The BEST auto body shop! I went to multiple places to get quotes to fix my car, and M & M quoted me the least. They told me my options and the range of costs. If I wanted it to look and be brand new $3500, if I wanted it functional and looking the best it can without total part replacements, $1800. Most places only give me one quote and no options. I like that they gave me options. I chose the $1800 and dropped it off. They promised to have it done by Friday and they had it done on time! It ended up costing $1700 since a part ended up cheaper, which was honest of them. They're super nice, honest, and helpful. I was actually recommended to this body shop by a friend who went in to get a quote. They told him the cost to fix his scratches wouldn't be worth it and he was better off just living with it but of course if he really wanted to get it done, they would have, but they wanted him to know it would be a loss. Shows that they're really honest. Most body shops would love to take the business and charge you even if it is a loss for you and never tell you. As transplant to the Bay, I did not have my own connections to quality & trustworthy service. M&M is the only body shop I will consider in the Bay Area.) Reliable: I have Metromile insurance (not recommended).Contacting adjustors and getting supplements confirmed is a somewhat complex and slow process. Raj made sure to follow up with them and inform me when he was having trouble in order to push the process forward on my end. I even stopped by the shop on while on a run (unannounced) about two weeks after dropping my car off (it had ALOT of damages - see before and after pics) and they were in the process of working on it. Trustworthy: When I would call M&M, they always picked up or got back to me within a few minutes. They would give me updates on my car and even provided insight to damages I didn't know about or that were caused by a previous auto shop. Working with M&M made me shift my mindset on autoshops always out to scam customers (esp. female) through their insurance policies. I show up to M&M and the person who helped me took one look at it and said "go get some touch up paint from the dealer and come back." Took my VW Passat in for serious door damage, and they repaired it quickly. We had to order a new door, but M&M re-used the wiring and other features of the original door and saved me repurchasing things that were not broken. They also adjusted the fit on another door that had been tweaked in a prior crack up. Unfortunately, the repair to the dented door was not perfect, as it turned out the seal between the door and frame was a little leaky in wet weather and whistled on the highway. However, when I took it back to them, they fixed it for *free* within a few hours. It was a bummer to have to go back, but I really appreciate the way M&M owned up immediately and just got the full fix done right away. We can all make mistakes sometimes....how we address them and make them right is where the real stars are earned...or not. The prices at M&M are good, maybe a bit below what other places charge. The rear bumper completely came off and I was scared to drive it because it kept dragging on the floor so I drove it to M&M (and there were lots of places closer to me, but I couldn't resist the 5 star M&M shop.) and they gave me options on what to do. Replacing it was too expensive (Mercedes parts are cray) so they gave me different options and I chose that best one for me! I also didn't have a ride home so they were super nice and drove me home :) everyone is super awesome and the service was friendly, fast, AND AWESOME! My car looks like it was never broken! And prices were very good! Amazing experience working with M&M garage! I scraped up my car pretty bad when parking (Womp Womp very embarrassing) and decided to shop around for estimates. Raj was super kind, efficient, and quoted me A MUCH lower price vs. another well known shop nearby. He even offered to touch up a few minor scratches on my front bumper with body paint at no added cost! My truck is an old import (HJ61) that I can't just bring anywhere. I brought it here with concerns about a rusting frame. Not only did the guys assure me that the truck was drivable, they offered up some recommendations of where to bring it to get fixed. I didn't get any work done at M&M, but I can here for some advice after some bad work done by another shop. The repairs done by another shop was pretty terrible(fixing the frame and replacing a bumper), I figured I'd go to another shop for a second opinion and possibly repairs OF the repairs. I forgot the man's name that helped me(sorry!), but he was very kind, understanding, and patient when I expressed my frustration regarding the previous shop. He told me that I was better off just living with the current work than paying more money to fix it. Since most of the crappy work done was just cosmetics. I appreciated that he was brutally honest and spent time with me - and I didn't spend a dime. If I ever need future work done on my cars in the future, I will make sure to come here.
