I was surprised to see some of the poor reviews when I got to Yelp to leave this feedback. My wife and I purchased a vehicle over the weekend at M&M and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. In reading the reviews that were negative, it seemed that some had not even dealt with M&M and others did not bring their issues to the company, they just left negative reviews without giving them a chance to make it right. I do not feel this to be fair or an indication of a good customer. I started and ran retail companies, and no matter how hard I would try, my employees and I would make mistakes daily and all I could do was work my hardest to make whatever the problem was right. We also received a pretty cheesy promotion in the mail from M&M. It promised a gift, which we got (very inexpensive smart watches). But once you get to Liberty, I can understand the challenge they have in getting customers to drive to a small town, passing numerous larger dealerships, with bigger signs, and more modern buildings, to come to them. I still am not sure what moved me to visit them, I know that the vast majority of promotions are gimmicks, but it was a beautiful day and the drive was pleasant. We ended up purchasing a used Subaru from them. We got there at 2:00PM on Saturday and walked out at 7:20PM with our new vehicle. For me, that was about average for a large purchase. My wife and I present a unique challenge for financers because of our previous history and what we do for work now, but we were able get a monthly payment we could afford, at an interest rate below 11%, with no money down. I realize that this may not be possible for everyone, but I felt that they really tried to help us out. I didn't feel like a number, I felt like a friend through the entire process. This is my experience, it doesn't mean it will be yours. I attempt to be kind and courteous to those I deal with. I try to be understanding of how difficult it can be to make people happy, especially in a culture where few even no where to look for happiness. However it is my belief that the employees at M&M, and their owner are honest, genuine, and do care about the work they do. read more

M&M can sell cars/trucks (great experience) but its just not worth it to buy from them. This was my second and last negative experience. I had previously purchased a Ford Expedition King Ranch and have been happy with the vehicle. Recently I had an issue with the transmission while using 4-wheel drive. I had the vehicle towed to M&M 2 weeks ago on a Sunday and was told the vehicle would be looked at on Mon or Tues. I drove by on Wed and was told they hadn't gotten to it and would get to it before end of week. I came back on Friday and was told customer appointments come first. I asked to make an appointment and was told by the Service Manager that it wasn't worth it because they would get to it the following Monday. I came by the following Tues and the Service Manager gave me a bunch of bs again. At that moment I knew the vehicle would just sit there so I made an appointment at REA Ford and on Friday the 13th with the vehicle still sitting in the same location where it was dropped off 2 weeks prior, I had the vehicle towed to REA Ford and they immediately handled it. M&M Service dept is over matched and not honest with their customers. I wasn't asking to be put in front of the line, I was looking for them to tell me when my vehicle would be serviced but this was too difficult for them to gauge. The service manager is challenged regarding time management and setting customer expectations. Making false statements and having no idea how to manage customer schedules is a recipe for disaster. I'm only a few miles away and want to support my local economy but I'm tired with such shoddy service at M&M. read more

I have never been to this place to review their service. However, for the last couple of months they have been sending out super fancy advertising in the mail to "win" stuff. I did not know this until my elderly mother called me excited that she "won" a $2,500 gift card to Walmart sponsored by M&M by having the matching numbers on the attached scratch-off ticket. I warned her not to get too excited, we don't do business with them and do not know where they got her name and address from. I went online to see if there was more information and lo and behold, 3 other people posting on M&M's facebook page inquiring how they can claim their prizes... all were the same $2,500 Walmart gift cards and the odds of winning (as stated on the mailing) were 1 in 75,000. How interesting 3 people in the same small town all won the same exact prize at the same exact time. The messages on FB grew intense as people began calling them out for being scammers, myself included. I let it go and moved on. Today in the mail she gets ANOTHER "winning" card. This time it is an even fancier BATTERY lit game piece.. and big surprise, it is another BIG WINNER. I went on Facebook again and what a surprise, they have deleted all posts except good reviews and praise. What a sleazy gimmick. My mom is elderly and close to poverty line. She was planning to buy GROCERIES with that "winning" Walmart money. So while this is not a review about their car dealership and service, I do want to post this as buyer beware because if a company can be so shady to send out scam advertising just to get you to come in to claim a prize you did not win, I would not want to trust them with what they are selling me or "guarantee" read more

Horrible experience! Was lied to, misled, and run in circles. Was told vehicle had not been serviced and was written a "we owe" for tires and service. When we brought back for tires we were told it would take 2 hrs, it took over 6 hours at which time they lied and said the truck had already been serviced. From the time we drove the truck off the lot the "trailer disconnected" alert continued to pop up EVERYTIME we put the car in reverse. They were supposed to fix it, still haven't gotten the part (2 months later). I got a call that they needed me to bring the truck back (I live over an hour away) to be inspected because they never put a new inspection on it and registration would not go through on the old (I thought it had already been serviced?). Let's not forget to mention 2 months later I STILL don't have my registration because they never sent it. Apparently it was never put into my deal and I owe them $75 for it, which no one called and told me. Since when does a dealership not include registration fees into the deal? I had to return to have my tires rebalanced and they are still not properly balanced. The vehicle I traded in was not paid off in a timely fashion and so my credit was marked as a missed payment and I received a call from the lien holder 3 weeks later informing me that I was still responsible to make the payment because the vehicle had not been paid. So... 2 months later, I still have no registration, my truck still has faulty wiring, the tires are still unbalanced, my credit is marred and all M & M says is sorry for the inconvenience. Came here to buy a car today with my fiancé . I picked the car at noon. It's now 4:48pm. What is taking so long? No explanation of what's taking so long. Strongly considering just NOT signing the papers. Not to mention that when the finance guy went to talk us into an extended warranty and I said I'd save him the trouble and not take any additional coverage I was told that they couldn't sell it for so cheap without charging us roughly $3,800 for the warranty. Now let me tell you something. I've worked at a dealership before and the extra warranty stuff is how they make their money. It's nonsense that you don't need, won't use, etc. But to tell somebody that they won't sell them a car without them buying an extra warranty(a warranty shouldn't be necessary for a good quality product anyway) is literally highway robbery. Being that we were turning in a lease and needed to leave with a car they really got us good. This is the very definition of unethical sales tactics and I'll be reporting it to the consumer protection agency. read more

I had the misfortune to visit this den of thieves and bought a Dodge Charger. They kept me waiting 7.5 hours, ran my credit report thru 7 banks (even though I had a pre-qualified check) and when I got the letters from the banks in the mail it tuned out that they were selling me a car that had a higher loan to value rate. Frank is a complete liar, tried to tell me the Charger was worth $40,000. Stay away from these morally devoid sheisters. I bought another car today from Phil @ Enterprise Car Sales in Wayne, NJ. Totally fantastic experience, great car and purchased for 10% less than the KBB rate and the car had a no haggle price tag on the window (as it should be). Good Job M&M, your sales tactics and thievery just lost you a repeat client. Karma is a real B*tch! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from M&M, the owner should be ashamed of himself.
