Future renters beware. If I could rate this company zero stars on Yelp, I would. My husband and I were married on 11/7/2020. Even after our big wedding was canceled due to covid, we decided to continue to work with this company in good will and not hurt businesses affected by this pandemic. We decided to rent a limo for our small wedding of 25 people through their manager Jay. On the day of the wedding our Driver Felix showed up to our residence, Felix seemed nice enough, but sat in the limo the entire time my mother brought items out to the limo. Obviously this was frustrating to my mother and I, however, I was not going to let it ruin the day. Mind you, prior to entering the limo I gave Felix an envelope containing his 20% tip, hoping, in good faith, he would provide us with great service. I will also note Felix's driving...break heavy is an understatement. Now, I don't know if this had to do with traffic, or the fact he wasn't paying attention to the road. At one point I unbuckled my seatbelt to retrieve something from my bag, and went flying forward hitting my face on the bar on one of felix's brakes. Fun start to our wedding, but again I was not going to let it ruin the day. After our ceremony Felix asked my husband and I if he could go home to have dinner with his family in watermill while we were at our reception at bistro ete (also in watermill). Since it was in close proximity to us, and we were on our wedding nuptial high, we gave Felix permission to go to his house in watermill for dinner. Towards the end of the night Felix came back to the restaurant and began rushing us to leave and explained to us that the limo was needed for another group. I found this odd but none the less, we left. When we got back in the limo, I noticed all of our belongings were all over the floor, my bag was open with my wallet on top which was also open, and my $1000 fur/leather jacket was missing. Thinking my mom must have removed the jacket for safe keeping, I didn't think anything of it. The next morning, I made inventory of all of belongings especially the jacket. I called my mother who stated she didn't take the jacket out of the limo, so I called jay at M&V limo. Jay stated he searched the Limo with negative results. Our next call was to Felix. Felix seemed very nervous and explained to us that he went home to watermill and "always locks the limo doors" and finished with "that's the honest truth". Finding our conversation odd and suspicious we filed a police report and requested m&v manager Jay send us the gps coordinates of the limo. Well, we when we received the coordinates, it turns out our driver Felix did not go to his home in watermill, but instead went to rocky point. When police further questioned Felix about the gps coordinates he explained that he went to a party in rocky point but could not provide further information about my missing jacket, and stated "he doesn't know what happened to it". I repeat he drove the limo to rocky point for a party, on our dime. Needless to say my husband and I were furious that our good and kind gesture was taken advantage of. We immediately contacted M&V limo to receive a refund or mediation to this wrong doing. Well, M&V limo stated that they are not liable for any items left in the limo (in contract) and would not be providing a refund. Not even an apology. Hired M&V Limousines for my wedding. Judy was so great calling a couple days before to finalize all the details. Then, 2 days out I called her back to ask if we could extend the time we had the car service for, and, for an up charge, it was no problem at all! We really appreciated the flexibility! Fast forward to wedding day: the car was early, punctual and knew exactly what the day had in store. After the ceremony we went to take pictures at a different location and our driver was so amazing dropping us off, waiting on the sides and then anticipating us being finished so we didn't have to walk (in the cold) all the way back to the car. Our driver was professional, helpful and very pleasant to work with. If we did the wedding day again, I would definitely choose M&V Limousine again! I used this company for a party bus trip out to the wineries for the day. The bus was clean, featured leather couches, tables, and was large enough to stand up in. There was a TV and full sound system aboard with plenty of room to dance. The driver was courteous, professional, and allowed us to make unplanned stops to pick up other guests. I just recently used M&V for my wedding. 5 Limos coming from Long Island to Staten Island with the reception in New Jersey had me a little worried. But all of the cars were not only on time but they were 30min early. My wife and I had the Phantom and it was spotless and just what we wanted. Booked them several times now and every time gets better and better. The driver arrived a few minutes earlier than supposed to, and limo was nicely cleaned and ready to be used. Our Drive O'neil had no issues going from place to place while we were in the back having a great time for a friends bachelor party. He got to every destination without getting lost and the quickest route. It was amazing to ride in the new escalade with the jet door. LIE #1-I never said the drivers were on time. we had to call the driver to pick us up from our wedding and stand outside for awhile waiting. I stated that they were on time per say because I didn't feel I should blast them on everything bad, of course things happen. But since the owner wants to make stuff up I will clarify what I meant by "on time per say" LIE #2- very professional?!? YEAH so far from it trying to cancel me a week before my wedding because they wrote and signed a contract agreeing to a price they didn't want to honor, this is the LEAST PROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with. THE DRIVERS were professional but NOT the company. LIE #3- they only have a A+ rating on BBB because they've paid for it. Steer clear of this company, its one scam after another and I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to ANYONE!! in the mean time when we were scrambling to find someone else the week before our wedding, I found Sir Oliver to be amazing, they were willing to do the job for the price M&V quoted us, and had we gotten out deposit back from M&V we would have left, but as a crappy company goes, of course they wouldn't give us our deposit back AND demanded more money. Original review: we used them for our wedding. We booked their bus. The bathrooms were so nasty from the second we got on them, that no one could use them. They were ok. After booking and leaving a deposit, they call us to tell us they made a mistake and needed to charge us more. It was kinda shady. we were ready to walk away and book with someone else, just a week before our wedding when they finally agreed to give us the price they quoted us. Stressful times, which could have been avoided. It all worked out in the end, and they showed up on time, provided us with all the services we requested and the limo drivers were all very professional. we also used them for a winery tour. the limo driver was AWESOME!! he really did a great job for us. We had a lot of fun with him. I do have friends who used them, and they did not show up to pick them up from their wedding, and never showed to pick them up to take them to the airport for their honeymoon. We did not have an issue with either. The driver was early to pick us up for our honeymoon, and the pick up after our wedding was on time per say. Would i use them again? NO WAY NOT EVEN FOR FREE. Working with them in the phone to set up everything was great! They were super helpful and informative. And even called me a few days before my big event to finalize the details... such as confirming that the bride and groom will be on the last and only shuttle from the event to the hotel. But the driver left without us and a few other guests. Apparently the guests already on the bus were yelling at the driver not to leave and to turn around but he said he was making another trip anyway. Eventually he did turn after being yelled at enough to pick up the bride and groom and remaining guests because otherwise we would have been left stranded. read more

Below is an email sent to a company rep. form husband: Billy, I spoke with you on September 11th about our experience with MV limo on September 2nd. I requested a full refund of $450.00. You told me you would speak with the owner and you promised you would get back to me on September 12th. Five days later, I still have heard nothing. Obviously your promise is as good as your service. To recap my issues with the service, or lack there of, that was provided to me and my family: The transportation arrived 25 minutes late to our pick up location. When it arrived it was a shrink wrapped coach bus with lounge seats; NOT the escalade that we had booked (A picture and the signed CC receipt is attached). To make matters worse the bus was filthy inside and out. It had one intact pole (for dancing I assume) and a place where another pole had obviously been ripped off. This was our wedding day, not a night out on the town. The floor was filthy, in fact, two bridesmaids got gum on their shoes from your bus. The seats were so dirty that the gentleman had to lay down there tuxedo jackets so that my bride wouldn't get her white dress dirty. Extremely embarrassing! Your driver, Devon, was extremely rude. He offered no apology for anything, but instead walked away in the middle of being spoken with to call the dispatcher. My favorite line was when he told me "He was doing me a favor". Really? Doing me a favor? The above alone should have called for a refund from a reputable company not being able to provide the service that was paid for. Unfortunately I decided to round up my party and get on the bus. As you have stated we booked for 18 passengers. With the fact that we were running so far behind, I did round up 7 additional people to save some time with transportation. The bus drove us to Dave and Buster's in Islandia for a quick set of pictures. I asked for both my parents, my now wife's parents, and her grandmother to wait on the bus while we took a few quick pictures. At this time your driver turned off the bus and walked off the job. He left the parents and grandmother on the bus as the heat rose to the point where they had to get off the bus. After many calls to your office and speaking with you the driver returned to his vehicle. He was asked "How could you leave an 85 year old woman on a bus in this heat?" Devon responded "I don't give a S**T." This infuriated my brother which brought on a verbal altercation between the two. Did I mention this was my wedding day? Devon left again, but for good this time. By now, our guests have arrived at Window's on the Lake, where our ceremony and Reception was being held, and we were stranded at Dave and Buster's. The police were called, and a report was filed. Thanks to the fine staff in Islandia and at Window's on the Lake, a Lindy's shuttle bus, and my photographer we were able to get transportation to our final destination. We were 45 minutes late for our ceremony and everything had to be pushed back. I incurred additional costs with my DJ, reception site, and taxi service. Not to mention the stress, frustration, and tears that were brought on by your company on this special occasion in two peoples lives. I am disturbed that you have not gotten back to me and am prepared to take appropriate action if there is nothing further you or your company are willing to do to rectify this situation. When the shrink wrapped pole dancing bus showed Devon said " oh they didn't call you? the Escalade had no power" I was one the phone with the dispatcher 3 times prior to him showing up, which was plenty of time to tell me. Because he was late my first set of wedding pictures are in the parking lot of my hotel. Not the beautiful view of the lake I was planning. He also told me that because he was late he wasn't going to have time to drive us to Dave & Busters for pics, and that we were going straight to the venue. I said "Um NO, its my wedding and your time is contracted with me, so we ARE going!" How DARE HE! Now in the end all after finally getting ahold of "Billy" we did get a full refund. This however after my husband threatened to sue them and tarnish the name (He works is the event industry). Billy stated that I was yelling and cursing at the driver. yell I did, I did not curse at him( though he deserved it). Devon never even introduced himself to us. My photographer wrote a horrible but truthful review 2 days after my wedding (we were on our honeymoon) and Billy gave us crap because "we" wrote a bad review, though it was deserved. About 3 months later that review "magically" vanished from Yelp. I now see that the "owner" responds to these reviews. I find his responses are very "he said, she said" and of course tells you to check out other sites. Hubby and I ordered a Lexus stretch limo for our bridal party. What made me livid was not the fact that the driver showed up more than half an hour late and was not apologetic. My bridal party had to drive around in a dirty limo that included an empty champagne bottle and used glasses. I would not recommend this company. I recently hired M&V for a bachelor party. We needed a vehicle that could hold 20+ for a trip into Brooklyn. Right from the start my experience was a positive one starting with the account manager Vinny. Vinny worked with me on the arrangements, provided me all the information I needed and was prompt & courteous throughout the entire transaction. My positive experience continued on the day of the party the driver was earlier, the bus was better than expected and it was very clean. Our assigned driver was fantastic! He accommodated us when we had a few who needed a bio break but still got us there on time. He could not have been more professional or courteous it seems that's the trend at M&V (professional & courteous employees) how refreshing! We booked my daughter's prom bus for 50 people 6 months in advance with the clear discussion with Billy that it was for that number of people. The day before the event, they suddenly ask how many on the bus and say the limit is 45 and that I will need an extra stretch limo for the extra 5 people (for $1200 thank you). After a lot of arguing and demanding with the owner Mark to at least share the $1200, the 50 became ok to have. These guys had a great shot at my corporate account if they did the right thing but after this incident, forget it. If you deal with them, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. read more

My Family of five took a ten person limo round trip to the Pier on the west side of Manhattan for a cruise to Bermuda. The driver was polite and the car was clean on the way to the pier, but he was completely unprepared to navigate through the city. I was charged for tolls, but he decided that he would take the 59th street bridge rather than the Tunnel. Many of the crosstown streets were blocked off by police and then we were redirected all the way up to 86th street. After an hour of crosstown traffic, the driver did not go through Central Park but rather turned back onto 5th Avenue and we were back in the same traffic again. His lack of knowledge in using Waze or GPS is unacceptable. We were an hour late for our scheduled embarkment. The driver for the return trip was polite, but the car was dirty when we arrived back from our cruise. His previous customers had left their coffee cups and other breakfast garbage in the limo. The driver could have at least cleaned the limo up while he waited for us. He took the Cross Bronx/Throgs Neck Br. and bypassed the city traffic. Both drivers were attentive and polite but need additional training. read more

we used them for our wedding.. grand total of 6 vehicles The Lincoln Navigator for our bridal party - NO PROBLEMS... couldn't have worked out better we had 3 standard white 10pass limos - Absolutley no problems Now we got the antique Bentley Rolls Royce... in the pictures and online it looks as though its brand new... IT'S NOT... the interior cloth was falling off, the wooden panels in the back were literally falling off and they used packing tape to keep it together...not at all what i expected. the outside was rusting out for what they charge for this they had best fix it up and our driver had no idea where he was going... I WAS SO UPSET... he actually had gps in the window and had it speaking to him in itialian... ARE YOU KIDDING??? I hope these do not show in our pictures... I hope. while we are taking pictures the guy is yelling across the lawn giving us updates as to how much longer we had.. Rushed our photographer...we were told that they would quietly pull us aside and let us know when we had to go... NOT AT ALL WHAT HAPPENED we also got a 55 passanger coach bus... bus was clean and no problems However the driver... i could have punched him in the face... he picked everyone up from the hotel and brought them to the hall.. The driver... does not allow our guests off the bus until he proceeds to make a speech and tell evryone on the bus how the bus will leave at exactly midnight.. if you are not on the bus you will be left, my wedding ended at midnight? he had people so scared of missing the bus that they were leaving the wedding early to wait outside for the bus? I WAS PISSED.... i was so upset that i went on the bus yelled at the driver and told him that I was taking the bus and my wedding is over when i leave. even though we had a limo picking us up... but still? the fact that i had to worry about it on my wedding day in short if you need a quick limo, or car... I doubt you will have a problem.. but for a wedding? I would shop elsewhere... saving a little $ was not worth the hastle. read more

Update: Thanks for trying to blame us for the appointment time but at the end of the day it was your mistake and it took ages to be dealt with. You sent another limo, kudos to you, but it was far too small for the number of individuals we had. I'm obviously not the only person unhappy about your service. Get over the negative reviews and just fix things instead of wasting time replying Mr.Mark Vigilante. Easy as that I am amazed that there are no reviews for M&V. After our dissatisfaction last weekend I decided to do more research. Type in "M&V limo" in your browser and stand back. There are many unhappy customers. We surprisingly never had a problem in the past and have used them on more than 4 occasions. This past weekend was a different story. The limo arrived on time and all our plans were given to the company in advanced. We told the driver we had a 8pm reservation a left fresh meadows at 7pm. The driver was asked to take the fastest route to get us to our reservation. He took the 59th street bridge to get to 8th and 5th. The whole time he tailgated with a 14-18 passenger limo and slammed on his brakes the whole ride. That got us to our reservation 30 minutes late and forced us to postpone our karaoke reservation as well. When we finally arrived to dinner we were informed that another limo would be arriving to meet us because the 14-18 passenger was not running properly. Before we even inquired about the size we were informed it was BIGGER than the limo we had. When we exit the restaurant after dinner we were met by what I would generously call a 12 passenger. We all spent the rest of the evening on one another's lap. Our new driver was extremely kind and understanding. We know it was not his fault and asked him to contact someone so that we could extend our evening since our first driver took us on a joy ride through manhattan. He tried calling but no supervisors contacted him back. I am extremely disappointed in what this company considers "customer service" and will be contacting them after this hurricane Sandy mess is cleaned up. We all looked forward and worked hard to save up for a personally disappointing evening transportation wise. I will NEVER use this company again. I recommend you steer clear as well. read more

This is 2 reviews in 1. First off, my fiance and I had visited this company a few weeks ago with hopes of booking a party bus for our wedding day. When we booked our appointment over the phone, we said we were interested in looking at the 24-27 passenger party bus that they have, and the person on the phone said it would not be a problem and that the vehicle would be there when we came in. WELL, when the day of our appointment came, we thought we were on the TV show Punk'd. Not only was the gentleman that we met with dressed like a slob and very unprofessional (he was literally still buttoning his shirt when he sat down with us), he seemed to have no idea what he was even doing. When it came time to look at the vehicle, the only bus that they were able to show us was a 30 or 40 passenger bus (one that we were NOT interested in) that was not only filthy with stains on the seats and dirty floors, but it also smelled of urine! Not to mention, we were only able to look at it for about 30 seconds because it was leaving to pick up a wedding party! Then, when the gentleman asked us if we wanted to book on the spot and we said no we were going to think about it (just to be nice), he was rude and did not even give us a price quote to take with us! Secondly, my sister rented a 20 passenger white Expedition stretch limo from M&V this past weekend to go to the city for her birthday. The vehicle that showed up was an 18 passenger black Hummer stretch limo (that not only was a totally different vehicle than what we had been told, but it did not even fit everyone comfortably at all since there was 20 of us!). Next, not only was our driver dressed like a slob with his shirt half-tucked into his pants and unbuttoned, he was also rude in the way that he spoke to us. He also DEMANDED to be paid his tip before we even left for the night!! (Not for nothing, but the last time I checked, you get tipped based on the services you provided- I don't tip my waitress when I sit down at the table before I order my meal). The AC did not work (so we were all extremely hot and uncomfortable since the limo they sent was too small), and the music kept shorting out. We had to have the driver pull over to try to turn it back on. Also, the limo had bottles of water which we thought was nice; until we realized that half of them were already opened and half empty (from a previous rental I suppose). M&V should be ashamed of themselves, and the services they 'provide'. DO NOT go by the pictures posted on their website, the vehicles look nothing like it! Company called to confirm, when they heard it was a wedding told me that it would cost $400 more because they would have to pay their drivers differently . *********DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**************** I planned a private tour for 9 people. We were to pick 3 vineyards and then receive lunch. I called and spoke with Chantelle. She went over everything with me from the pick up locations, menu selections and vineyards we were to visit. I received the price and was sent the paper work so that I could secure with an email. I reached out to all of the people in my party with the price they were to pay, along with the details I had discussed. I did not receive the email and gave it 2 days. I followed up with a phone call and found out that Chantelle, was not informed enough to review all of the information she had gone over with me and that the price she quoted me was incorrect and it would be an additional $80.00 per person to have the lunch included. At this point, I had asked to speak with a manager due to the incorrect information that I had received and why I would be responsible for this (they had all notes in the system and it was confirmed that I had received this information). "Kevin" informed me that he was unable to do anything but would give me a full refund. I had the date and the 9 people, a few of which were coming in from out of town, so I did not cancel and just thought I would prepare the lunch myself and we would move forward. The day of the trip came and the bus showed up. The air conditioner did not work. Our driver, was trying so hard to be helpful, but it was a very hot day and there were 9 people. The temp registered between 79 and 82 degrees. We were actually holding open the emergency window. In addition, the 3 reservations we were to have at the wineries, at the last one, Martha Clara, they did not have our reservation and would not accommodate us. It was so awful. I called M&V and once again, they tried to accommodate us, with telling us they would send us to another vineyard, but there was no guarantee we would have a table. It was horrible business. The 2 things that should have been rectified, was that Kevin should have honored the price his employee quoted us at originally and once they realized the air conditioner did not work on the bus they should have met us with a new bus. We rented a Sprinter (Mercedes limo-bus) for my wife's birthday. The 9 of us left Manhattan at 10:30am, visited three wineries / vineyards out on Long Island, and returned by 7:30pm. The limo was clean, the driver was courteous, and account management was fine. The only thing that irritated me a bit was that the driver accepted tips from at least one of my guest, after I had tipped him 20%. Even still, based on this experience I would recommend M & V. My acct. manager (Bill) sent a bunch a pictures of the inside of vehicle, that were spot on. It's probably easiest to just call them up and reserve by phone, rather than going online. read more

Located in Commack and has a nice facility to look at all the different limousine and buses that can be rented for any occasion such as my wedding back in 2007. I would recommend them since a limo broke down and they accommodate us to the best they can without ruining my day, so they offered a free chauffeured trip to and from after our honeymoon. Not bad. Nothing short of a catalogue of errors. From the beginning it was, shall we say, a little hit and miss with M & V Limousines. They are quick to speak to you when you want to make a reservation, but after that, getting anyone (especially the person you made the reservation with) to communicate with you is nigh on impossible. You can call, leave messages, email constantly, but once the money is paid then don't expect them to be the slightest bit concerned about you wanting to amend pickup or drop off times or venue locations. I had to make a real nuisance of myself to change times slightly and only then could I get it confirmed 4 days before my venue that it would work. As a surprise for my bride to arrive at the church I style, I hired the vintage 1958 Rolls Royce Wraith. Imagine my (initially pleasant surprise) that 18 hours before it was due to arrive, I got what I presumed to be a courtesy call to run through the schedule for the following day. Wrong! It was to let me know that there was a problem with the car and they would "work on it all night" to make sure my big day started how I wanted it to. But, there's a chance it may not be fixed in time and they'd call me at 10am the following morning to let me know. 10am came, no phone call. By 11am, I decided I should call as it was needed to arrive in 3 hours. I, optimistically, assumed that no phone call meant the problem has been fixed and it's business as usual. Wrong again! The car can't be fixed in time. Regardless of the fact they didn't ever call me to tell me theism that's was disappointing as the Wraith actually had some minor sentimental value attached to it. However, I can always have the 1958 vintage Bentley Rolls Royce, right? Wrong yet again! That isn't working either! On being told that, I was then given less than 30 minutes to make a decision about what car I wanted (shame you didn't you stick to your own 10am deadline) and I was offered an antique Madame X Bridal Car or a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom. Upon investigating, the "Bridal Car" is really a "kit car", i.e. one someone's made from a load of numbered parts so there's nothing antique about it. It's a modern, cheap imitation! Furthermore, the "new" Phantom isn't new at all, it's a 2008 model! So, 7 years old for my wedding! All this left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. With 2,5 hours to go before they were supposed to arrive, I eventually decided on the "new Phantom" T driver was the only good thing about the company. He was awesome, and the car was absolutely fine. Just completely not what I ever wanted. It arrived on time and the driver was a great guy to have on our wedding day. We weren't charged any more (thankfully), we got champagne and a red carpet, but the "Just Married" wedding sign never materialized. To be honest, though, I was just relieved something with 4 wheels turned up on time! read more

I have a bus rented from M&V limo company for a friends 21st birthday party this weekend. Although I have not yet taken the bus, I am thrilled with the amazing customer service I received so far. The process of renting the bus ran very smoothly. Eric was quickly able to find me an appropriate bus for the event/amount of people that were in the group and was able to book it right away over the phone. Unfortunately, the number of people in our group changed and the price of the bus was out of budget for us. I was afraid that I would have to cancel the bus. Despite the inconvenience, Jenna was very accommodating and made a change in our reservation to provide us with a new vehicle that fit into in our price range. Although I wish that we were able to afford the original bus that we rented l, I am so thankful that she was able to make this change so that the party can still go on. I am looking forward to my trip with M&V limo company! read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! Rented a coach bus for my wedding to transport my guest and they arrived 40 mins late to my ceremony. They were also an hour late for pick up. I booked the bus for 8 hours, which meant the bus should have stayed in the parking lot of the venue and he didn't. I went to M and V limousines the next day and they said the best they could do was refund me $500. This was July 19 and they said they will mail it the very next day. It is August 11 and I'm still dealing with these people to get some of my money back for this horrible service. DO NOT TRUST THEM FOR ANYTHING. THEY RUINED MY WEDDING. read more

Due to unforeseen circumstances my group needed to cancel our limo reservation. I gave M&V Limousines a full month's notice that I was cancelling. They refused to refund my $100 deposit, alluding to a "cooling off" rule that says they don't need to return the deposit after 72 hours. This was not on the receipt they sent me confirming my reservation. This is a bad business practice that will instill no loyalty or confidence in using or recommending this company in the future.
