I recently booked the wine tour through this company and the day of the tour, all major roadways to the city were closed fue to s marathon and I had no way to reach Manhattan for the bus pickup (it was too late for the train). I called the company in a panic and Jenna help me figure out another option to meet the bus (and the 5 friends I'd invited) and even called the driver to let him know to expect me. I have been a passenger on M&V buses several times. My friends and I often buy their vouchers on Pulsd for a wine tour; and they never disappoint! My friend recently purchased vouchers for us, and we were disappointed when we called to reserve our spots and the buses were full. I called a few days later, and spoke with Kathleen, who was as fabulous as they get. She corresponded with me via email all day to keep me posted until they finally received a cancellation for us to get our spots! They were always very nice whenever we met with them or spoke on the phone, and were more than happy to accommodate us when we needed to change pick up times and locations. If I could give a negative star I would. We used this company on our rehearsal dinner and they were 45 minutes for the pickup which caused us to be 45min late for the rest of the night. Fine. It was the rehearsal. We called them that night to tell them what happened and ask them to please plan to be early the next day. Guess what? They were late picking up our guests again and this caused the worst part of the happiest day of my life. I was literally in tears as we had to push the ceremony back 30min. After all that they then pulled one of our limos early on us after telling us overtime wouldn't be an issue and the entire wedding party was left at a park waiting for another limo to come pick us up to go to the reception! My parents are immigrants and I'm sure they took advantage of their naivety and good nature. DO NOT book these unprofessional con artists. read more

We used them for our wedding on June 27th.....we were going to settle with the company and take this down, but then I thought it was wrong not to share the story of the service we received..... Car Number 1 Friday, June 26: A 12 passenger limo from Amagansett to Brooklyn.....this is the ONLY part of the service I was pleased with.....nice driver, got us to the location on time, helpful The day of the wedding...we ordered 3 cars, an antique Rolls Royce, a 10 passenger limo and a 25 passenger bus. All three of the cars were to pick up at the New York Marriott on West Street in Manhattan and drive to Our Lady of Angels in Bay Ridge Brooklyn....knowing how traffic in Manhattan can be, I asked for a 12:30 pick-up for the 2:00 ceremony...plenty of time barring some sort of natural disaster... Well, the Rolls Royce and the limo show up promptly at 12:30 and we are told the bus is coming...12:40, no bus yet, so we decide to let the limo and the Rolls take myself, my maid of honor our parents and the children to Brooklyn....drivers rudely informed us that we can't take the tunnel because tunnel fees are not included, we volunteer to pay the toll..they take the tunnel and pull out an ezpass...why would you even mention anything about tolls if you have ezpass??We arrive at the church around 1:15 and begin waiting.....and waiting...the groom and the other members of the wedding party try to contact the bus.......the bus FINALLY arrives at the Marriott at 1:11 (40 MINUTES AFTER THE SCHEDULED TIME) and the driver insists on taking the Manhattan Bridge and driving down 4th Avenue to Bay Ridge......they arrived at the church over 45 MINUTES LATE!!! Thank god the priest allowed the wedding to start at 2:50 instead of 2:00 when it was supposed to start... Now that it's later it is also POURING!! so we can't take pictures at the parks as was planned and we telly he driver we're going to stop and pick up our lunch at Cannonball Park (on the way bad to Manhattan) and then head back to the hotel so we can take some pictures there.....both the party bus and the limo stop at the park and we pick up lunch.....then we start driving back towards Manhattan. I (the Bride) am on the bus with my entire wedding party....grandparents, parents and children are in the limo which apparently had a competent driver because they got back to the hotel in 45 minutes....... The party bus driver tries to get on the BELT PARKWAY GOING EAST!!!! two problems, Manhattan is WEST and the bus cannot go on the parkway!!!!! Luckily we were paying attention and alerted the driver to this and he BACKS UP THE ON RAMP ONTO THE VERY BUSY SHORE ROAD...... then he says....no highways....and drives up 4th Avenue to Manhattan. Yes, as the owner of the company repeatedly told us, there was traffic, but if we were on the highway we would have been fine (we hired a Hampton Jitney Bus for our guests to do this same run....same type of bus, left Brooklyn at the same time...got to the Manhattan hotel in 45 minutes) so it takes this driver 2 hours and 45 minutes on 4th avenue to drive to the Manhattan Bridge....needless to say, we never went to the hotel because at this point we were late for our cocktail hour (we and originally allowed 3 HOURS between ceremony and reception for pictures) and we have NO WEDDING PICTURES. NOT ONE SINGLE PICTURE OF OUR WEDDING...and a photographer at $350 an hour who sat on a bus and looked at Brooklyn. Then there was a road closed in Manhattan and it was taking even longer and at this point, 2 hours and 45 minutes after leaving the church, I was finished and frustrated so myself and the entrée wedding party got off the bus and WALKED the 3 blocks to our wedding Reception, missing most of the cocktail hour and ending up absolutely SOAKING WET in by dress :( Went in to have a meeting with the owner on Friday, July 24th, (i's so long after because we just returned from our honeymoon)....he was 30 minutes late for the meeting so we initially delt with the manager who was offing us $500 back for a $1500 bus which literally ruined our wedding......and the owner finally showed up..saying traffic happens and people are always late for their weddings and insisting that we pay for at least half of the bus (we didn't we settled on $500 to cover the cost of gas and the drivers pay....not for nothing but I would have fired the driver immediately if he was 40 minutes late for a WEDDING pick-up time) but acted like it was nothing out of the ordinary and no big deal......the company was willing to settle for a full refund, but only if we removed any negative feedback about the day.... read more

My wedding was July 3, 2014. I was referred to this limo company by our wedding venue and thought it would be perfect since they were close to the venue. We arranged to have the antique Rolls Royce and the 13 passenger Chrysler. They were to pick the groomsmen up at our hotel first with my husbands parents, then come back and pick up the bridesmaids with my grandparents and I would follow with my parents in the Rolls Royce. This failed completely when the limos arrived very late. There was no time for a return trip for the girls, so my wedding party had to squish into the Chrysler, my grandparents had to get a ride with a family member and my mother in law had to ride in the antique with myself and my parents. Getting everyone to the venue was a complete fiasco and my I am the oldest grandchild and first married so I was really looking forward to my grandparents getting to ride in the wedding limo. 1 bridesmaid even had to sit on another's lap! I was so disappointed because we arrived very late to our wedding venue, I have no pictures with my husband and I in the Rolls Royce and that was the whole reason I ordered it to begin with. Ever since I was little I dreamed of having the antique car and pictures with my husband and I in it. Because we arrived so late, by the time my husband and I had our big reveal, we only had time for the picture on the premises and wedding party. I am so disappointed that I have even thought about restaging this moment with my husband and I and ordering the antique with a company close to him so we can have at least 1 picture in this car. After all of that, the driver barely seemed sorry/concerned and hung around to get a tip while we were running around trying to get some pictures in before our ceremony began. I waited to see if i would hear from the company and I have never heard back (it's almost been a year), I sent an email to Billy, the person I had worked with initially, but NEVER HEARD BACK from him or the company as a whole. After the great experience we had and the great service, I'm surprised to see the other reviews. We rented the 1958 Rolls Royce Silver Wrath (which is what arrived) for our elopement. Our car arrived on time and our driver, Steven, was funny, accommodating, and professional. Steven was able to find a place to hold the car while we had our ceremony in Central Park after which we celebrated with champagne in the car and he drove us to our dinner reservation. I did a winery tour with friends a few weeks ago. Planning was SO EASY! I was able to plan and book everything online and there was someone available to answer any questions live on the site. If you need to contact someone via email, their return time is decent as well. HUGE deal for me! The few times I did call however, the people were kind, courteous and helpful. In regards to the tour, you can build your own tour options in terms of wineries, snacks and lunches, which were delicious, btw. The limo was clean, comfortable and current. WARNING ! This is the worst limo company ever! Please read this whole review as it gives great insight into the way this company conducts business. When they first took my deposit, I was very excited. They seemed like nice people. Dan and Billy were very responsive. However, they then sent over these ridiculous terms and conditions. When I told them I would never agree to these outrageous terms, they stopped communicating with me and never refunded my deposit. I called several times and even emailed. They always gave me the run around. In their terms and conditions, it states that you aren't allowed to write bad reviews about the company nor have anyone you know write a bad review. Then they threaten that if you do write a negative review that you may be liable for damages. Basically, they know they are a horrible company and conduct shady business. They are literally trying to take away their customer's freedom of speech! Then they also say that they aren't "responsible for any lateness due to traffic or mechanical failure" This company does't want to be responsible for anything! If you are seeking a limo or any kind of car service, I suggest you look at Camelot or Sir Oliver. My good friend was getting married and we hired M&V for her bachelorette party. From the initial point of contacting this company I was extremely pleased their professionalism, vehicle options and prices. The car arrived promptly at my home and was clean and well stocked with clean glasses and ice. The driver was courteous and accommodating and even stopped short of the official pick up location so that my friend and I could decorate the limo for the special night and to get drinks. The driver gave me his number to contact him 10-15 mins before we would leave a venue to ensure he was out there and ready to pick us up, each time he was ready and waiting as we came out. I can not comment on the actual vineyard trip as it was impossible to even make the reservation. Came across the company on Gilt City. Checked out their web page to learn more about the VIP vineyard tour as we were looking to get a group together for my wife's birthday. I spoke to a rep and was told this was available on our desired date for our size party but they are in between food vendors but I would be emailed the new menu items for lunch. He said based on final head count they would have various vehicles available. Sprinter Van, party bus, charter bus, some have bathroom, some do not have bathroom (never received a email follow up with any food updates) My wife called later that day separately and was told this is not an option and the only thing available would be a charter bus that day and we need to book the vineyards on our own. I call back and of course the original rep is busy three different times. I then get a new rep who tries to steer me in the same direction of booking a separate bus and then booking vineyards. I finally interrupted to state the reason I was hoping to use the company is because they seemed to have this all worked out for a package on the website so I would not have to do all the research, bookings and reservations on my own. He finally agrees that they can do a vineyard tour but there will not be any food. OK, no problem we can eat at one of the vineyards on our own. He says to email the original guy all of the information and they will get back to me. Sent the email and finally after 3 follow up calls I get a email response back that they will take care of everything and call the following day to confirm. No call. The place is just a total waste of time and nobody is on the same page. Go with another company. You should not have to work this hard to simply give the company your money. read more

3.5 stars. I was in two of their vehicles (party limo and regular) this past weekend. Both nice vehicles, with courteous drivers. One showed up reasonably early, with no rush ever felt. The other we had some delay times with. Another large SUV (in which I did not ride) arrived quite early. But didn't realize it until the wedding party was looking for the car, and they were there and waiting. Never imposed. Quite polite. My only qualm were the driving skills of the limo drivers. I mean, yeah. NOT an easy vehicle to maneuver, let alone smoothly. But I was caught in the "side way" seat in both rides, and I got a nice abs/lower back/glute/core work out trying to keep myself from falling into the next person on various hard stops and fast turns. However, the folks in the more traditional seats didn't seem to have a problem. Decent option. If the pricing and availability are right, could be worth the try for you. read more

We had a group of about 20 of us heading out to the wineries yesterday afternoon. Limo showed up promptly at 12PM, we all begin our trip, and about 5 minutes in, it becomes apparent that the limo was not fully inspected, as the driver (who, I must note, was incredibly responsible and personable, and the only positive from this experience), realizes the power steering has failed, and pulls over, as he does not feel safe putting our lives in jeopardy. He calls home office to advise of the situation, and he's instructed to keep driving to meet with another limo!! Are you kidding?! He's literally explained that the vehicle is UNSAFE TO DRIVE, and you're suggesting he keep going?! Not to mention I'm also 7 months pregnant, making me feel that much more uncomfortable! Needless to say, after hearing this, my friend who had organized the whole trip calls the company himself, looking to have a new limo sent out to us. The customer service he received was horrendous, at best. The staff and management were very rude and inconsiderate! To the point they even hung up on him!!! I worked in customer service for years...I don't give a damn what type of day you're having or the type of client you're dealing with, you DON'T HANG UP ON THEM! Especially when YOUR COMPANY is responsible!! So then we were stuck waiting on the side of the road for over an hour and a half for another limo to arrive - we missed most of our reservations, and our time out east was cut incredibly short!! Eventually, a new limo did come, and we were on our way to make the best of a bad situation. However, I have to be honest, we were apparently "upgraded" to a more expensive limo...I was NOT impressed. There was less leg room (which was a big deal because we had several tall people), and the overall layout seemed smaller (no fun for a pregnant woman). And all of that STILL doesn't make up for the TIME that was lost as a result of all of this. Overall - VERY pleased with our driver (who god help me pregnancy brain won't let me remember his name), as he was super personable and responsible from beginning to end!!!! However, VERY disappointed in the customer service provided my "management," VERY disappointed in the "upgraded" limo we received, VERY upset by the lack of safety procedures in place (letting a limo with failed power steering be taken out, and then encouraging it still be driven)!! **UPDATED** I'd like to amend my review, as I have been told that one of the managers, Billy Matthews, has personally contacted my friend who arranged this whole trip, and is certainly doing right by him and his wife! He strongly expressed how upset he was by the actions of his staff members and how that is NOT how they normally do business. They are planning to make things right and offering our entire group another trip!! That's awesome conflict resolution and customer service in my eyes!! They tried to scam us! I do not recommend booking with M&V limousines. We booked & payed 1.5 months in advance for a wine tour and they called 2 weeks before to let us know they no longer our offering the tour. The original tour included 7hrs driver plus wine tastings at 2 vinyards. They said they could still drive us but only for 6 hours and the tastings would not be included and it would cost the same price. They said they would not offer a partial refund to cover the 1 less hour and tastings they would not provide anymore. I went back and forth with the lady trying to get an answer as to why they couldn't refund us the cost of the tastings and one less hour of service and she did not have an answer other than we shouldn't have been able to book the tour in the first place, essentially placing the blame on us for booking the tour on their website... which is a terrible answer. After expressing my concerns of being scammed and going back and forth with her on the phone for 20 minutes she finally was able to offer a small refund (about 1/3 the cost of the tastings) which in my opinion was an insult and terrible customer service. I recommend you look elsewhere for car services as this place is incredibly unprofessional and when they made a mistake, were unwilling to admit it and make it right to a satisfactory and acceptable amount. She did provide us with a full refund after deciding to cancel all together. read more

Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus we are not able to go, we kindly asked M&V for our deposit back when we were told they would not give it back to us and we can use at a later time. Right now times are getting harder, this virus is affecting everyday life and we are all feeling the affects in many ways. Events all around have been cancelled as much as we would love to try to use for another fun night out or a trip to the airport those are things we cannot think of for a while. I have to give M&V 5 stars!! This past weekend I had to get from Saint James to Islip Airport to board a flight to my nieces wedding in Florida. We had a mess of a snowstorm come in unexpectedly and not a single taxi company would come get me because of the road conditions. The team at M&V went above and beyond, never hesitating to do everything possible to get me there on time for my flight. Within 1 hour of calling they showed up with an AWD Range Rover and we made record time through the horrific road conditions to get me to the airport with plenty of time to spare! I don't know why I haven't reviewed this business by now but here it is..our agent was Ryan. We booked this place for our wedding in June. Not only did they show up 35 minutes late, the showed up with a party bus that we did NOT choose and the AC was not working on a very hot and important day! My husbands best man had to get dirty and fix the ac because this same bus was going to be the bus that was taking us and the entire bridal party to the receotion after church. We were so behind schedule that the bridesmaids had to jump in with the groomsman and my husband had to get a ride to the church in my cousins car. Then the old fashion car we ordered rolled up almost 40 minutes late and as I'm just about to get into the photographers car to get to the church because I can't have people wait any longer. Mind you, all my girls were calling while we were waiting to get an eta, update, anything and they just kept hanging up on them cause I guess they didn't want to deal with them. Umm, I'm sorry but I was told by Ryan if I was a minute late for the cars scheduled departure time I'd be charged 1 hour overtime...but you guys were almost a whole hour late and screwed up all my pictures and schedule for the day and I have to just eat it!?!? Ok...then the next day when I spoke to Ryan he really tried to tell me that was the bus I chose when I know what I chose and that was not it. Then after the church the bus driver takes the most senior route, idk wth he was doing but he took nearly 2 hrs to get to the hall which made us miss cocktail hour and we had to take out wedding pics indoors instead of outside in the beautiful sunny garden because he made us so late. My best friends parents left Astoria to go to Westbury an hr after us and got there before us! I had a cousin go have lunch and go home, take a shower, do her hair and makeup and still got there 30 mins before us!!!! I could go on but there's just so many crooked things about this place and the fact that I lost out on my pictures erks me to the bone. This place is a poor excuse and waste. I have a ton of ppl I know getting married and i tell them don't even think of calling this place. A cousin of mine said he wished I told him who we were going to book because he had a bad experience with then as well. They ripped him off and would not give his deposit back when they booked a car for him that they no longer had and refused to give him his deposit back! Are you kidding me!?! Ryan did send us car service for our honeymoon, back and fourth and a car ride home the night of out wedding to try and make it up to is but it will never get me back the pics I wanted to take so bad and the cocktail hour we wanted to attend at out once in a lifetime wedding.
