I browsed around for a bit and found a few things to try on. Both of the staff members I encountered in the fitting room were kind and helpful. I forgot both of their names unfortunately, but one was a petite blonde and the other was an Asian woman with short hair. While none of the items I tried on worked out, the brief interaction with both of them left a good impression. It took a few extra minutes, but these are standard requests at a retail store. Instead of handling it professionally, the cashier made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable. She acted visibly annoyed and then apologized to the customer behind me for having to wait--as though my request was an inconvenience. The customer ahead of me also took their time, and I waited patiently without any complaint. Somehow, only my transaction was treated like a burden. When a customer spends over $500, they shouldn't be made to feel guilty for asking for basic services the store provides. It wasn't the wait that bothered me--it was the attitude. The cashier made what should have been an enjoyable shopping experience feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of that interaction alone, I'm left with a terrible impression. The rest of the staff were courteous, but this level of customer service from the cashier is unacceptable, and it's enough to make me seriously question whether I'll shop at Anthropologie again.
