We were referred to MC roofing and Miguel through a neighbor. They are very honest, hard working, and skilled. Our very complicated roof (two different materials) was replaced in a week, including replacing existing plywood with radiant board, replacing all dry rot (there was a lot), replacing gutters/exhaust vent caps, and hauling off all the old junk. The roof was also extended slightly. The new roof looks awesome, and we are very happy. When onsite, Miguel (and Jose) would let us know of any high level decisions that we would need to make. Miguel went above and beyond and even inspected our roof after A/C was removed/replaced, and has opted to fix mistakes made by another company afterwords. Broke so many of my tiles! After 10 years of living at the house, I hired MC roofing to clean my roof valley, they also reported 10 tiles broken, so I had them replace that too. All problems they reported at the time was fixed. However less than a year later, a tile fall off the roof. So I had a roofer gave me a quote (cause he was working on my neighbor's roof at the time), he said 30-40 tiles are broken and needs to be replaced, a bunch more needs to be glued. I was in shock! So I had another roofer gave me the quote, he said 50-70 tiles needs to be replaced, more needs to be glued! And both said the most broken tiles are located near the valley area where M C roofing worked on a year prior! So I only had 10 broken tiles in 10 years of living. After 1 year after M C Roofing worked on my roof, it got 30-70 broken tiles!!!!! I was so mad! read more

I had my roof replaced about a year ago by MC Roofing to install solar, Miguel stopped by to give a quote on the same day and it was very fair compared to others in the area. His team was fast for removal and during installation they also spotted a few places that had termite damage which was quickly fixed. We also added some insulation on top which made a huge difference in the summer and winter. MC Roofing was recommended to me. So I called them and spoke with Miguel. "the owner" I told him that my roof had 2 sets of comp shingles on it and a lot of dry rot on the rafters as well as the plywood under the eves and I want it all fixed as well as anything he finds wrong once he tears the old comp off. We set up a date and they got to work on the roof. The damage on the roof was pretty extensive but his crew was able to take care of everything in 4 days "start to finish" Miguel uses the heavy underlayment tarpaper as well as "the best on the market comp manufacturer "CertainTeed" I chose the landmark premium which is CertainTeed's middle product. Miguel has great guys working for him and all of them including Miguel have A++ customer service. Miguel was very quick to get back to me every time I called him. We were referred to Miguel and MC Roofing by friends at ALL Roofing Materials, to address a roof leak we were having. Miguel and Jose came out and addressed the leak, but also walked us through a number of issues with the roof and really educated us on roofing, in general. The patch was temporary and as soon as the rainy season was over we had MC Roofing back out for a full reroof. I couldn't be happier with the decision. We've got peace of mind about the integrity of the roof, but the experience was great - not at all like the stereotypical contractor engagement. Miguel and Jose couldn't have done a better job keeping us informed: when they'd arrive; how long they be working for the day; progress; etc. They are also very focused on quality and craftsmanship... they would deliberately start early in the morning and then knock off early afternoon, to avoid damaging and scarring the roofing materials when it got too hot. Miguel was also a great advocate... we had to have our solar removed and reinstalled as part of this reroofing project so Miguel was in constant contact with the solar company and even came out during the panel reinstall to ensure that the reinstallation process did not damage the roof or negatively impact the integrity of the work. I can't speak highly enough of Miguel and his crew. If you are unfortunate enough to need a new roof, absolutely consider MC Roofing. read more

We just had a new roof installed by MC Roofing and couldn't be happier. The workers were professional and polite. They showed up every morning by 7:30 am. Had the entire roof torn off by noon the first day. Job was complete by end of the week. He refurbished my patio beams by removing old rotted beams and installing new beams and put a roof on it thus giving our home another place to relax. He also added a beautiful sun tunnel in my patio. We needed our roof replaced and a friend recommended MC Roofing. I called Miguel and he responded within 24 hours to set up a time for an estimate. He came out and did the measurements, I got his estimate and his was the most reasonably priced out of the few received. We discussed type of shingles and was very good at making sure I knew what I would get, he dropped off samples and provided other houses for reference. When it came time to do the work, his team removed the old roof and cleaned up the area. His roofing team (Miguel JR and Jose) inspected and found a few areas that rats can enter and they sealed those up with sheet metal (wow, what service!). Both Miguel jr and Jose were great informing me when they would show up in the morning and when they would finish the the day. After each day, they would do a sweep to clean up the driveway and anywhere there is foot traffic (for nails and such). So refreshing to find a respectable contractor who not only takes great pride in his work but is genuinely friendly to work with. Quick Review: MC Roofing was quick and honest and friendly. I compared them to two other roofing companies and their pricing was competitive. However they charged slightly less to repair damaged wood which I new I had so I chose them. They warned me what would happen during the demo of my old roof and cleaned up a lot of the mess. They even went a little beyond by removing an old air solar panel and helped me fix some of the gutters next to (not part of) the house. The day they finished, it rained. No leaks! I'm glad I selected MC Roofing to re-roof my house. I would recommend them to others. read more

We just had our roof installed by Moy and his team. Moy is great -- professional, very responsive, and just a really nice guy. He explained to us the process and gave us photos to document the work done after the job was finished. His pricing was transparent and fair, and during the job there were a few extra repairs they encountered, but he reached out to us before moving ahead with work. It took a while for the city to approve our permits, but Moy kept us in the loop and called us as soon as the permits were ready. He was able to come the next day with his team at 8:15am. His team was friendly, professional and efficient. They took out the old roof and installed the new one so quickly, and did a great job at that (and did a great job cleaning up afterwards too).
