Its unfortanate because the tacos may just be the best I have ever had. Was really looking forward to bringing friends of mine visiting from New Mexico. New Mexico being one of the best places for food on the planet. But we were turned away for having a 9 yr old child. Apparently children under 13 are prohibited which I find to be absolute insanity. Nevertheless I cannot in good conscience recommend to eat anywhere that is against the family even with food this good. It really ruined our entire day. But I understand each business has their own rules. The tacos here are amazing....but I would not go there again which breaks my heart. We drove down 1.5 hrs from Owosso. Its a darn shame. read more

I can't believe it's taken us this long to go to M Cantina! First the margaritas are TOP NOTCH! We were blown away on how balanced and smooth they were. The jalapeño cucumber margarita really tasted like I was eating a cucumber and then you get the back heat from the jalapeño. So creative! The corn and cheese was like sitting on a beach in Mexico. The chips were house made and the quad sides (pinto bean, pico de gallo, roasted tomato salsa and guacamole) were all homemade and so fresh tasting. In the winter , how did they get such fresh avocados? The guacamole was the best I've ever had! The Peking duck took me back to my trip to China. It was tender and moist and such a balanced flavor (I used the word balanced again because it really is a melody of different, unique flavors all working together). It's so different than duck breast so anyone that thinks they don't like duck really need to get the Peking duck when it's on special. The salmon was cooked a perfect med rare so it just flaked off. It was great to have such a different flag profile with the two tacos. What capped the evening was the chocolate cream brûlée. The chocolate is handmade by a family member in Mexico! I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu! Literally options upon options!! I went on a date here on 12/13/2022. We got an appetizer: Fajita Bites! They were absolutely delicious and bursting with FLAVOR. We both got esquites. My date got the cheesy ones and I had the salt, lime and chili ones. My major critique here is that they would not allow me to add cotija cheese (they do print on the menu that substitutes aren't a thing). However, the interesting thing with the esquites is that they have hella add-ons for this side/appetizer but they did not let me add-on cheese. To me that was a little odd. Nonetheless, the equites were great (both varieties) and my date shared his! Now on to our tacos!!! I got the short rib tacos. They were sooooo damn good. Y'all, sooo good! My date got the fajita tacos. I didn't taste them but he enjoyed every bit. They give you an option of 3 or 4 tacos. They are definitely street tacos. I got 3, and he got 4. We also each got a 2 classic Margaritas. It was a party in my mouth!! Okaayyy! And that's the only picture I took. The alcohol! I'll be sure to get better with taking pics BEFORE I devour my meal! With your food, the server brings out about 15 different sauces (ranging from mild to wild) all made in house. It was so fun trying all of them! Service was great and the menu is killer. M Cantina offers an array of unique tacos, including fish/seafood, vegetarian and even grasshopper! I was really disappointed by my experience here. Had reservations at 4:45 Showed up and got seated quickly. They were following COVID protocol call really well. Our waitress showed us how to get the menu pulled up and gave us a minute. She then showed us where to get the drink menu. After looking at drinks, we were informed that most drinks weren't available. I don't remember the exact reason, but something about COVID. Well that was disappointing. I just ended up getting a grapefruit Jarritos and we ordered the Chips and Queso Quad. Our server then informs us that not all food items are available and that nothing can be customized and changed. I get it, but at the same time, I have a dairy intolerance and most of the food had crema on it so that really limited my options. I went with the Al Pastor tacos. Before I forget, there were 11 customers in the restaurant. The waitress informed us that she was the bartender, waitress, and had to make all desserts (which were also limited). Wow... Chips and dips come up. Salsa, pico, and guacamole were good. I didn't care for the bean one. Wasn't very flavorful. This chips appetizer was $16, which was ridiculous for the amount of chips. Tacos game and they were ok. They were supposed to be pork, pineapple, onion, and cilantro. The first bite was great, got the flavor of the pork and pineapple. But as I continued, it lost flavor and was salty. I will say, the meat was tender and cooked well. That's what I have to say. I tried it and have no intention of going back. read more

Just trying to get a reservation was crazy because they have a no children policy, require a credit card to reserve, and REQUIRE reservations. There was nobody inside the restaurant except 3 people working. The chef could not answer our questions about what is in the food or what type of peppers were used for certain sauces. The overall customer service was not the best and felt awkward. The best thing were the chips and spicy salsas. The rest of the things we ordered were good but not great. We came on a somewhat slow day and yet they informed us that no kids are allowed in the restaurant, which I have never heard of before as it's not a bar... that turned us off, and honestly between that and not being able to make any adjustments to the food, I just don't think it's a really accommodating place, and I don't know that I'll be back. Our wait person Gene was personable & really knew the menu & drinks. Creative cocktails & beautifully presented food. That was outstanding in flavor. This is not your ordinary Mexican food. Totally upscale almost white tablecloth dining. Largest selection of Tequila you will ever find. I asked Gene for a recommendation after dinner for a Tequila Digestivo . Wow. I've had many many tacos in my life, and I have to say M Cantina was the best I've ever had. 10/10. We started with the Fajita Bites. They were so incredibly delicious that we couldn't even say a word - we just kept eating them. They were gone within seconds. We also got tacos al pastor and the carne asada torta, which were amazing. Super flavorful. The margaritas were top-notch and well-balanced. My husband and I literally spent the entire time talking about the food (especially those fajita bites), which says a lot. What a gem! I hadn't been here in several years but had a friend from out of town and thought it would be a perfect spot for dinner. 1. This place is so gorgeous! Perfect for a date night or small group 2. The service is exquisite! Our server was accommodating and cheerful. We had several staff members check on us throughout our meal 3. The food and drinks are awesome! Everything feels special, thoughtful and creative. This is not your typical cheese-covered tex-mex with endless bowls of complimentary chips and salsa (which I also love!) This is a much more elegant dining experience over all. It is a bit pricey but the ingredients seem very high quality and the amount of love that goes into the dishes makes the price seem fair. For three of us we spent $160 total. That covered 3 cocktails, an appetizer order of chips and salsas (highly recommend!), three taco orders each and a side of rice and beans. read more

Never really felt like coming back after the first time I went there. The owners have a really bad attitude and the prices are insane for what you get. None the less the decor was cool and the food was different from every other spot in dearborn. It's a nice change in scenerey and some of the items on the menu are pretty good. I'm muslim and I don't drink. They serve non alcoholic mocktails which my wife ordered. We had the same one about a month prior. She didn't finish the drink and got it to go. In the car she tells me the drink tastes different than last time. I smell it and taste it and feel like it definitely has alcohol in it. I turn the car around and go back to talk to the owners wife. I asked her if they accidentally put alcohol in the drink since she confirmed 3 times before we ordered. She smelled it and drank it to tell me 100% there's no alcohol, it's probably just a bad strawberry in the drink. Didn't offer to make a new one though. I told her I'm trusting you because we want to finish the drink. She reconfirms theres no alcohol. We leave and meet up some friends across the street and 5 of them tell me there's definitely alcohol in the drink. I go back to the restaurant with my friend and talk to the owner who made the drink. He tells me the same exact thing his wife does, theres no alcohol after smelling and tasting it. He offers to make me another drink though which smells completely different than the one we had. We ask why the two drinks smell and taste so different if there's no alcohol in both and the owners just start telling us to leave. They just keep telling us we don't know what we are talking about and we are no longer welcome. I leave and get the drink tested the next day at a drug testing facility. The drink came back positive of alcohol and the guy testing it even says I can just smell it without testing it. I would never go back to a restaurant that doesn't respect my beliefs and lies to my face in order to not be proven wrong. I only eat halal as well so now I'd question if they even serve halal. If they can lie to me about this, they can easily lie about their food being halal. read more

8 of us went for dinner tonight. It started off great we ordered chips and guacamole and corn in a bowl. As we were looking at the menu we noticed no modifications or substitutions. For example one member of the party is lactose intolerant so we asked if the tacos can be made without cream or aioli and the owner said no (not nicely a little gruff). I chose the veggie salad and she said she would take off the cheese. No problem how great that she was accommodating but when I ordered my salad with no cheese and dressing on the side she said she can't do both. It was one or the other. I explained that I wanted the salsa as dressing (as I pointed to the cup of salsa already on the table) and she said one or the other (Again a tad rude). I said I'm good I don't want the salad and she went to take the next person's order. Our party said we will leave and go someplace else and she didn't blink an eye. She gathered the menus quickly off the table and we got our bill. We had an event to go to so we quickly cashed out to go to a restaurant down the street. As we were talking about the bill we realized we were overcharged because gratuity is included. I called her back to figure out the bill (minutes after we left) and she was extremely rude. She ended up refunding the overcharge but needed to be reminded to include tax and 20% gratuity which was automatically applied. She texted me a copy of the receipt and that's when I noticed she charged .50 cents for a lime for the corn, No one asked for a lime it was served like that. Never again. She could have cared less when she gathered our menus. One round of drinks, 1 shot of tequila, 2 orders of chips and guacamole, and an order of corn came to $200. As an honest food blogger, i just tell it how it is. I know that's not something a lot of foodies do, but i have to. My friends and I decided to visit Mcantina because of the hype, however, It did not live up to the hype after all. First, let's start off with the reservations. This restaurant only does reservations and no walk-ins. a $20 deposit per person will be charged if we cancel the reservation. We made a reservation for five people, but their tables only seat 4 people, and if we added a chair, it would be in the way because it was right by the door. So we were relocated to the garage, which was a pretty nice vibe. Typically at Mexican restaurants, there would be complimentary chips and salsa, but this is the first Mexican restaurant that I've been to that didn't offer that option. They said it was because they were an "upscale" restaurant, but it really wasn't an upscale restaurant. My friend wanted some hot water, with a slice of lime. When she got her bill, she was shocked that they charged her for tea because apparently hot water and a slice of lime were considered lime tea. So, she paid $2.50 for some hot water and a slice of lime. After we placed the order, the food took about an hour to arrive. We didn't realize that it would take an hour to make some tacos. We expressed our concerns about the wait and the waitress said, "here's a free appetizer since you guys were whining". Never in my life, have I been so rudely spoken to. Although the presentation was good, the food was lacking. I was told that the fried fish tacos were a fan favorite, however, it tasted like they pulled it out of the freezer and threw it in the fryer. And we let the waitress know that we didn't like it, all she said was that everyone else that ordered that loved it. The one other person that ordered it... We were really disappointed by the quality of the food. The cost for three tacos can cost anywhere between $15-$90, depending on the meat. I wish the food would have tasted as good as it looked. This was just the worst customer service that I've experienced at restaurants, and l needed speak out about it. This is hands down the nicest Mexican food restaurant I have ever been to and that is a long list! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is really nice! I shared an Empanada with my husband and had the chicken fajita tacos and the chocolate crème brûlée which is to die for!!! Order it. Do not share it or you'll be sorry! The presentation of food and the choice of both wood planks and elegant bowls just made it a great experience. The chip salsa flight is really good. The service was top notch and I'd give them 6 stars if I could (Carolina was our waitress). You will not be disappointed. Hint - make reservations for certain. This is a hard review to write as there are some very positive things about this establishment, but there are a few cons as well that are hard to overlook. As far as the positives, the menu is very comprehensive and has a lot to offer, everything from traditional Al Pastor to roasted grasshoppers. It offers a truly varied and inspired selection of tacos and other plates. They also have a tremendous selection of sauces that are made exclusively for them and which are delivered to your table arranged in order from their mildest sauce to their hottest. Those were all really good. Similarly, the cocktail menu is also extensive, very original and inventive. The locale itself is also well appointed and creatively decorated. So, if these were the only things to consider, I suppose this establishment would earn 4 or even maybe 5 stars. Being honest, however, the sheer snootiness and arrogance of the owners makes me not want to come back regardless of the food and cocktails. The insufferable pretension starts off with their reservation system. No walk-ins are allowed. You have to make an online reservation and pay a $20 deposit which you lose if you don't show up. I don't have a problem with that, that's the purpose of a deposit. But no walk-ins, ever? When we went it was on a Saturday morning and literally no one else was in the restaurant except staff. We were the only patrons. By the time we had left, about noon, only two other tables had been seated. Oddly enough, the reservation system showed limited availability even though the place was empty. We had made a reservation before going to the restaurant, so we didn't have an issue, but when we got there, the first words out of the owner's mouth, before even greeting us or welcoming us, were a terse "What's your reservation under?" Hello to you too. Given the very conspicuous lack of any other customers, I wish I could say that she was trying to be funny like in an ironic way, but she wasn't. She was dead serious. Anyway, I think they might do better if they consider walk-ins for people who don't visit their web site before going to the restaurant, especially when you are not busy, but whatever. Next, as they point out on their web site, you are warned to keep in mind that they do not "change, substitute or modify" any item on their menu. They are dead serious about this. We didn't have an issue because we didn't want to change anything, but one reviewer mentioned that they simply asked for the crema to be left off their tacos because of an intolerance to dairy. No one is asking for a substitution, just don't add the drizzle of crema at the end. Seems reasonable, right? Nope. You're getting the crema lactose intolerant or not. The owner, who was also our server, made sure to point this rule out to us before we ordered. And on the subject of ordering, and in spite of being the only customers at the time, we felt uncomfortably rushed to order. Remember the extensive menu I mentioned? The owner was hovering around our table as we looked at the menu and curtly asked if we were ready to order appetizers or not. I told her we were still looking at the menu (on-line using a QR code) and she pointed out that I had already passed the appetizer portion of the menu (she was looking at my phone over my shoulder). Yes, I had indeed looked over the appetizers on the menu and moved down to the entrees. Sometimes people want to figure out what they are going to have as a main before picking an appetizer. Apparently that does not exist in her world. They have other rules about cellular noise being limited to headphones (which I agree with), they say they have a business casual dress code, a "you break it, you buy it" policy regarding their decor, and they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason including for being underage (you have to be at least 18) or for strong "skunky" odors (which I'm assuming means that you can't smell like weed too much). We later found out from the owner that she and her co-owner/chef husband came here from New York. That might explain it I suppose. We midwesterners are known for being nice, polite people. New Yorkers are not known to possess those qualities in any significant abundance. Maybe the way they treat people is just what they're used to and the way they are. Seriously, they remind me of the old Soup Nazi episodes on Seinfeld. At any rate, the food we had was all delicious and I would gladly recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to try an "upscale" version of tacos (although, if I'm being honest, there's a limit to how far you can glorify a taco, so manage your expectations), but the attitude, arrogance and, to some degree, the rudeness makes it sort of hard. Your dining experience shouldn't be stressful. If you happen to be a restaurant owner who serves good food yet patrons are hesitant to recommend your establishment because of the way they are treated, that's a problem. Fabulous little place in the heart of Dearborn. You have to have reservations for a table, but if you don't, you can sit at the bar (which is what we did). The decor is very nice and the place has a warm and festive vibe. The drink menu is very cool, with a lot of signature cocktails to choose from. The upstairs bar has a decent selection of bourbons and cognacs - one of the cognacs sells for $2500 a shot. Wow. No, I didn't have a shot, haha.. We started with the chips and salsa app - and I loved that they brought out a whole tray of different hot sauces to try, while the chips were served with small dishes of guacamole and salsa. Soooo.. I decided to be brave and try the chapuline tacos. Chapulines are aka grasshoppers, yes I did it, and they were actually very good if a little salty. The grasshoppers themselves reminded me of crispy pumpkin seeds (no, they don't taste like chicken). For dessert, we split a trio of ice cream scoops - avacado, blueberry cinnamon, and a decadent chocolate. They were all delicious, but I absolutely loved the avacado ice cream! I just love a restaurant with unique offerings, and this place delivered. Other taco choices were goat, salmon, Al-pastor, and even Wagyu beef ($90). Can't wait to return! read more

Years ago, I came here all the time and loved this place! They had an extensive non alcoholic drink menu and the food and vibe was great. Now the quality and customer service is horrible. They removed so many of their non alcoholic drinks for alcohol... you serve halal meats... what about your Muslim customers who have supported your business? But honestly the worst is the service. The staff is so so rude and they treat the place like an exclusive 5 star restaurant. I asked for extra napkins and was told "you have that one" referencing the cloth napkin I had on my lap from the silverware. I was a little nervous when we went on line to make the reservation and had to use a credit card to hold the reservation, I think it was 80$ if you canceled, only to find out that the reservation time we picked was pushed back to 845. Once we arrived, to an empty restaurant we filled out the covid tracing forms & all was right with me. What a beautiful restaurant & bar. We got a table by the kitchen with front row seats to the chefs preparing our meal. I noticed the prices were a little high so I figured the odds of me returning here anytime soon were slim to none, so I knew what I had to do, load up the table & keep the food coming. My daughter in law had seen the mixologist on line in some tik tok video & I told her I would take her, boy I'm glad I did. The drinks were very creative, and the liquid nitrogen never gets old, combined with ample amounts of alcohol this was a great way to start our evening. We wasted little time getting started with appetizers, I think we started with 4-5, my favorite being the chips & dip, the potatoes. To me they tasted like gourmet fiesta potatoes from taco bell, I know the chefs would probably kill me for saying this, lol. The Tlayunda , which was like a flour tortilla tostada/mexican pizza was delicious, would definitely order that again. After the apps we jumped right into tacos, that way we didn't have time to get full, because I was ordering desserts come hell or high waters. We opted for the 4th taco in each flight, so we could all have our own. We got the scallop tacos with a jicama & corn slaw , pork & bean carnitas, and my two favorite the braised short rib & the Peking duck carnitas which were the favorite of the table. Tons of tacos & Coronas later it was time for dessert, I will list the names but spare you the descriptions as no words could do these desserts justice, so please refer to the pictures below, and don't be afraid to hit like if you would order it too. The Mexican chocolate creme brûlée garnished raspberry, blueberry & my first taste of gooseberry. I'm embarrassed for not asking what 5, but the 5 tres leche was hands down my favorite. Another must when I go out was the fried churros with the avocado ice-cream, which reminded me of green tea ice cream sub avocado. All & all, service was outstanding, waitress was very helpful with navigating us through the online menu & answered all our questions, the bartender make some great drinks to help me forget how much this meal was gonna cost me, lol. I read the "no substitutions" on the menu, but when my bartender ("my liquid chef" here, love it) included my request to skip salt on my margarita rim as a "substitution" I wasn't too sure about this place ... but I decided this "restaurant eccentricity" was CHARMING not odd, and it was my best call EVER. I still don't love salt on the rim in general, but THIS salt is special (rose hips?!) The best best yummy food was had was the chips and Mexican corn (in a bowl, over on the cob) - it might be my favorite food in the world now. This is my 2nd time here, this time for a birthday party! Food is good here--tasty & different than your normal "Mexican" cuisine. They use spices and make things I've never seen in most Mexican restaurants--I love the variety of various options! We had 12 people and they handled it ok, considering. Some food came out real late-but all meals were remembered. The worst part of the experience was the service. The owner was our server (she was also our server last time) and she was just as rude this time as last time. I don't think she knows that she's rude or she's intentional about it, but she left a bad taste in "everyone's mouth" which is why I'm here writing about it. She's not a great look or representation of the restaurant. When she asked us to leave, she said "ok, I have other reservations besides you so would you please shoe..." and she directed her hands to the door. One person in our party was still eating (the one who got the food real late)! We were hosting this party, and we did everything we could to make it worth it for the servers, and our entire party was very patient and kind to each of the people helping...we even left additional tip for each of them on top of the 20%... She was pretty rude throughout the entire experience; everyone said they would not return even though they liked the food. Man I wish this place was a little closer to home. With gas prices the way they are, it's gonna be a bit more expensive coming here for some real Mexican food flare! We got our first glimpse of this place from a TikTok (thanks @chowdowndetroit). After an afternoon at the Eastern Market in Detroit, we made a quick reservation and stopped by for first visit. Holy frijoles, we were pleasantly surprised! This place was better than we could have imagined. They certainly follow the COVID precautions, and the place is very clean. The staff was super friendly and very helpful explaining the drink and food options. The four of us in our group all got different things. I can't remember them all, but after trying everything, I'm comfortable saying everything on the menu is delicious. Idk what to call this new age infused Mexican food but gaaaahhhhdammmmn it's good. If you're thinking about trying it, I highly suggest it as everything I ordered was finger licking goodness. Initially I was annoyed because you have to make reservations & apparently ya'lls greedy asses fill up those spots 48 hours in advance. SO word to the wise - if you have been eyeballing this place call RIGHT NOW and ask what their earliest availability is to save yourself some hunger heartache. Service: I do not know the amazing servers name we had but she not only kilt the customer service aspect of our dining but is REALLY passionate about the food & business. She didn't play any games with talking up the food which normally I would find annoying but home girl did NOT disappoint. Everything she recommended was spot on! Despite the bar being closed when we dined in and no desserts being available, she made us feel like we didn't miss a beat with our meal. Food: Bomb! It's hard for me to describe each of the apps we had but just know it was amazing. The Tlayuda - think bougie & delicious Mexican pizza with molé sauce. Big enough to share! Fajita bites - the meat is flavorful & really stands alone with all of the extras that are included. The flavors compliment each other very well! Chicken tinga empanada - I thought the chicken could have been a little juicer but it went well with the fried dough. The chipotle aioli really brought out the seasoning in the chicken so I should have ordered more! Chips & Salsa Quad - good but it's nothing epic here. Just a good table pleaser. That guac is a different story though. Esquites - GET IT! I don't even like corn like that and found myself going back for more bites. We got the cheesy one so I can't speak on the lime & salt but this shit right here was GOOD'T! Drinks: Bar was closed when we frequented the joint but they were offering shots and local beers! Been going to place this for a number of years, I don't know why we continue. Irrespective of the food, the dismissive arrogance of the resident server here (possibly the owner or manager, not sure) ~ they serve their egos, not the customer. Today for example, I brought international guests in for an experience. TOTAL disaster. Chef tried to push us to buy $90 taco's, and when we said no thanks, we'd like to go with other options, we were treated like garbage for the rest of our lunch. Trendy, Fine dining Mexican restaurant.. and heaven of sauces.. have been here few time.. love the food.. with a slightly higher price tag. And you have to pay for the chips.. As a vegetarian I have few options.. My favorites are Grilled vegetable Tortas - They are huge. Love it, flavorful, crunchy, juicy.. obviously 20 other sauce option to choose from.. combine with agua chilled and tamarind.. Chills Rolleno - yum yum .... amazing too.. and there are several other vegetarian toco options to choose from.. Definitely try the plantain chips.. Parking gets little tricky at peak hours.. some in the back of the building too. read more

I've been here several times before and the food is always good. The atmosphere is even better. So, why only 2 stars? Let me explain. The whole vibe has changed and is now borderline rude and pretentious. We walk in on a Sunday afternoon. There was only 1 other couple in the entire restaurant. He asked if we had a reservation. When we told him we did not, he looked shocked and annoyed. Then, he needed our names and phone number to put in his system before he would even seat us. Fine, we go through the process, but it set a weird tone. Then, he seats us and tells repeatedly that they do not substitute anything. OK Ok, I get it. It's even in the menu. We didn't even want to substitute anything. It was as if he was trying to provoke us into an argument. Again, a weird vibe. Drinks came and they were delicious albeit expensive. My cocktail was enjoyable, but at $25, it should be. Ironically, for being so stringent about no substitutions on food, he was more than happy to upsell me on a Mezcal substitution when he overheard that I like Mezcal based drinks. Out with the tequila, and in with the high end Mezcal was certainly his motive. Again, it was a nice drink so I will give them that. Food arrived and it was all good even though two of the dishes had way more salt than we liked. Portions were small and prices were high, but we knew that going in. In the end, it was $250 for a lunch for 4. However, they decided to also add a 20% tip to the bill at their discretion. I know people needs tips and sometimes restaurants tell you up front about their tipping policy, but to just add this amount WITHOUT any mention of it on the menu or anywhere else, just doesn't feel right. It's smarmy to just decide how much of my money they deserve without telling me up front. Not a good look M Cantina. Will I be back? Maybe, but I would need to be convinced I won't have the same experience. In the interim, I will be telling my coworkers to beware of the way you will be treated when going to this place. If you are OK and know up front, then fine. For me, I was disappointed enough to only give them 2 stars. read more

Too expensive for what it is....... Tried several tacos waitress recommended, they all didn't taste good to me, too sweet, beef is too dry. It's not good at the street taco I had in LA or at a small Mexican market my Mexican friend took me to in Dearborn, way cheaper and more authentic, pork belly, pig ears, end with pineapple, etc... Too small of places as well, not comfortable to sit and eat. Service, they're very proud of what they offer, they are nice. But I feel uncomfortable of cheapest default tips is 18% and being stared when check which one on it. read more

This spot feels like a cozy culinary secret in the city. It's off the busy Michigan street and also has a back entrance that feels like a secret. We had about six things on the menu, everything was great. They bring you options to try a range of sauces - yes! There is a small bar area, serving quality drinks. I've been disappointed every time i've ate here. You cannot do any substitutions. Even if you just don't want cilantro on top of some thing they will not allow you to do that. If you have allergies do not come here. They have an extensive bourbon and tequila menu though so if you like that this place e might be worth checking out but definitely at a high cost. I can't believe how disrespected I felt eating a simple meal.
