    Burrito Que Pasa
    Mina M.

Happy with my decision to try a new (to me) Mexican restaurant. Que Pasa is fairly priced and serves delicious food! I went with the grilled chicken and while it was flavorful and delicious, I'm excited to try a different protein next time. The chicken in my tacos was a little dry but still tasted good as it was well seasoned and warm. The combos are a great deal--3 tacos, rice, beans, and a soda. My meal came with 2 salsas--the green was very spicy and the red had a unique flavor (also pretty spicy). When I saw that the burrito was $5, I decided to add that to my order as well and it was my favorite part. It's about the size of my hands (so maybe not enough for a full meal) but it's packed full of flavor. The taco combo was great, but I enjoy the chicken and beans mixed together in the burrito. The food has great flavor and served authentically. The restaurant was fully packed on a Friday night. It's giving diner vibes. Set up for quick service, not really a place to sit for a long time but they do serve alcohol. It's very bright and white in there, not really Mexican restaurant vibes--but the food is delish so I'm not bothered by that. The younger girl at the register was nice and a great multitasker on a busy night.

Trying out this location, been to another Que Pasa. We wanted something quick and easy. They do have grilled chicken as well as chicken Tinga tacos. Chips and salsa immediately out, along with the hot red salsa and the salsa verde bottles. Ordered Combo #2 with red grilled chicken tacos (comes with consommé and a drink, 2 red tinga tacos and a guacamole. $26.15 The chips are not great and mostly broken in the first batch. The second batch is not broken, a bit better. Not fresh or warm still. The mild salsa and hot salsa together are okay, separately are not special. The hot red salsa is just spicy. The green salsa has jalapeño in it, it's good. The mild red, hot red and green jalapeño salsas are better altihyw The salsa looks not as good as it tastes, lots of red onions, decent flavor. The #2 combo grilled chicken taco came out as a burrito with seasoned fries. The second time it was chicken tinga tacos. My husband just ate it, even though he had originally ordered and asked for grilled chicken tacos. My two chicken tinga tacos were good, the red marinated tortillas are slightly chewy. The consommé is quite beefy in flavor and has a ton of onions, it's flavorful. My husband said the combo wasn't worth it, since he didn't really need 3 tacos or the consommé, wasn't worth the $13 vs $6 for my two tacos. I didn't get a bill total at all. Best to track it on your own then.

Order at the counter for take out or take a seat at one of the booths or tables around the dining room. The menu is on the smaller side but there's something for everyone. I saw a sign for happy hour but couldn't see the details. Service was quick, food came out in about 20 min and was hot and fresh. Chips were a little extra crunchy and I didn't love the salsa (but I'm not a good judge of that because I rarely like salsa). I did enjoy all the food I ordered; carbs asada tacos w/beans and rice ($13.99) and some shrimp tacos (2/$4.99). I normally don't eat the beans at restaurants because they're usually tasteless in my opinion but these were good.

First time having dinner at Que Pasa but it won't be the last. My husband's coworker told us we had to check it out. I'm picky about Mexican food but was pleasantly surprised. The quesadilla was so good. It came with a comsomme dip and it was really good. Almost like gourmet style Mexican. My husband got the taco combo and got three diff kinds of protein. He also got a burrito and we had lots of leftovers. The Mexican cokes were a nice touch. I also liked the chips and salsa and the queso was good too.

Que Pasa is easily my favorite place for tacos in the Metro Detroit area. I have tried multiple competitors and nothing beats the consistency of flavor and quality of these tacos. I would choose these tacos over any other tacos in a heartbeat. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and prices are very reasonable. The music is upbeat and there is plenty of comfortable seating.

The best tacos I've had in the area in a long time! We tried the various red tacos and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor. We also tried the margaritas and they didn't taste strong but felt buzzed when I left. Also the deep fried cheese cake burrito for dessert is a must! So good! Our server was friendly and helped with suggestions along the way. The chips and salsa was also good and they had a nice spice level. Definitely will be back!

Wow! I can't say enough nice things about this business! The food is excellent, takeout is easy, but if you can dine in, I recommend it. They have great chips with homemade salsa and also have Jamaica and Horchata. Yum! We ate the torta and California burrito. So good!!!

Great service, clean and bright interior and really solid food. I've always enjoyed the food at the Dequindre location, and Royal Oak is right on point. The Pozole is delicious. I also tried the Torta Cubano, dynamite at both locations. Decent value and comfortable tables and booths. Wait staff was really nice and did a great job. Definitely worth a try!

One word: delicious! This is the spot for well priced mexican food. The white queso was a highlight and worth every penny. I got the Al Pastor California Red Burrito which was very good. I will be coming back soon!

Let's just say they definitely improved ! We got an order of chips and their seasonal salsa, which was roasted red pepper, and it was very flavorful and delicious. I got a hot honey burrito with beans and rice and my gf got birria tacos. Also not pictured is a marg. Hot honey burrito was a lot of food! The rice is okay, a little bland and clumps together, unlike traditional Mexican fluffy rice. Refried beans are fine. Burrito is very filled and was super sweet from the hot honey which made it a bit hard to finish, but definitely enough food, and I probably could have eaten half. Birria tacos were delish and the consumé was super rich. Margs come in different flavors but they all kinda taste the same to me so far, and they're strong. Maybe a bit too strong? Depends what your goal is with them. Service was good, a little slow for us being at the bar, but nothing to be concerned about. Trivia was fun and we'll definitely be back to try some other things on the menu. Great job on menu revamp!

BUT we saw that they recently refreshed their menu and decided to give them another try and ordered some different options off of the menu and were really impressed this time around. The seasonal salsa was a roasted red pepper which was a great start to our meal, we also got some $5 house margs which are super strong and refreshing. I had the birria tacos and I thought they were really good! The meat was super tender and the consommé was really flavorful and well seasoned, I've had some other places that were pretty watery. We sat at the bar and our bartender was super friendly and the food came out so fast we were pleasantly surprised! And trivia is always a blast with Pajama Dan.

The restaurant itself has a relatively small foot print where the tables are close together and where there are no frills about this place and definately a tad on the rustic side. Facility aside, this place makes some excellent authentic Mexican street tacos where my El Pastor and Asada taco's were well made, PACKED with meat (no scrimping here) and oh so tasty. Service is quite quick where once seated you get your food within a few minutes making this an excellent spot if you are on the run and looking for a good meal on the quick. Prices are cheap in my opinion where my three taco's and a coke came to just $12. NICE! Two things to note here is that the chips and salsa are not gratis but come at an extra cost and follow up once you get food was non existent in my case. Chips and salsa was not a big deal to me but lack of follow up prevented this business from getting a fifth star. Ordered Puebla, tinga style pizza, chicken fajitas, guacamole, tostada with chicken tinga. $53.47 Chips and salsa is out. Chips aren't great at all, almost taste stale even. House salsa has some heat. At least I won't eat too many corn chips, since they aren't so good here. They have a red and green salsa in a bottle, but not enough for the seated tables. Service is subpar for sure, need more help. Drinks are long empty. My husband wants more chips and salsa, takes a while to get anything and get attention too. Food takes about 17 minutes to come out. The corn tortilla isn't very good. Ate a couple of small bites of the Puebla, not for me. Doesn't have that fresh chewiness. The Tinga meat is okay. The tostada is crispy, but overall is was just okay. The pizza is different and definitely on a flat bread. It's okay. The mole, tinga and pickled onion doesn't do it for me. The guacamole is so-so, average as far as taste. The bottle of red salsa is spicier. The bottle of green salsa is an avocado base. Both mixed with the house salsa in the ramekin together aren't too bad. Food was quite average, didn't feel compelled to stuff myself, so that's a positive. Get the staff some help!
